Amazing, amazing food! Friendly staff! Extremely friendly and very helpful! They ran out of chips, but that might be at the fault of my guests enjoying delicious food!

SD Tacos was easy to work with and the tacos were great. Our guests loved the food and I ate the leftovers for a week and could have had more. We hired them for our wedding after they successfully catered a smaller party last year and we'll probably hire them again the next time we host an event. Booking was simple and they accepted online payment, still (for some reason) not a standard feature for wedding vendors. They came prepared with all of their own equipment, even a tent for the unexpected San Diego rain that complicated our outdoor reception, and took the trash with them when they left. We had the standard chicken and steak tacos and added on the fried fish tacos and the churros, which were awesome.

My husband and I wanted something different for our wedding and when we came across San Diego Taco Company and saw the words "Nacho Bar" there was no turning back! Who needs cheese cubs and crackers when your guest can have nachos at cocktail hour!? Not to mention the side table guacamole!! And we haven't even gotten into dinner yet! Their catering staff is amazing! We put a deposit down then a week before the wedding we finalized the menu so it was accommodate our guest count, they were so helpful in making the final touches. We went with their wedding package which came with beef and chicken and we added pork (because I love it) the tacos come with all the fixings, rice and beans. Which is plenty of food but once again I pulled the bride card and added the street corn and holy sh*t am I glad I did! It was amazing the meat for the tacos was so flavorful I still get people asking about them! The best part was we ordered to much food and we got to keep the leftovers!! So all in all San Diego Taco Company was perfect!

San Diego Taco Co. catered our entire wedding and if you haven't been to their restaurant, SALUD, the food is delicious. The process was so easy and everything went so smooth. Very pleased when working with them.

The food from SD Taco Company was one of the best parts of our wedding. We knew from day one we wanted to have tacos and were happy to find out about SD Taco Company when eating at their restaurant Salud. They were very helpful throughout the booking process and gave recommendations for quantities based on our guest amount. I made several changes to the menu in the months leading up to the date which they was never a problem. The guests RAVED about how good the food was, they loved how it was freshly prepared. We also got some appetizers, and they were all delicious as well. If you want a fabulous taco dinner at your wedding, without a doubt go with SD Taco Company.

While the tacos were good and our guests also enjoyed them, I am very unhappy with my experience with San Diego Taco Company. I hired them to do a taco cart in November 8 months before the wedding in June. They decided to call me less than a week before the wedding to say they would no longer be doing a taco cart for my wedding because they don’t like where they are set up at the venue (even though they knew exactly which venue I was having the reception at AND they have done a taco cart there multiple times before) she said that they would just be droping food off. I asked her if we could move them somewhere else at the venue and if we could work something out because I really wanted the tacos cooked fresh and she said she would call the venue coordinator right away. Hours later of course they never called the coordinator, so I asked the coordinator to call them. Couldn’t get in contact with the manager for another day. Obviously had no time to spare this is literally days before the wedding. I had already paid in full and my coordinator legit had to threaten to go elsewhere with business to get them to do the taco cart on site. I would look for a different more reliable taco catering company if I was you.

Everything about them was great. They were quick to respond to my emails, the price was the best I could find anywhere, the delivery was on time, set up was quick and the food was AMAZING. Everyone at the wedding was pleased, I would highly recommend them.

San Diego Taco Company catered our wedding last weekend and everything was absolutely amazing. The food was such a hit with all of our guests and people kept going back for more! Everything was cooked right in front of us which was such a nice touch and then they had all the toppings for people to choose from. We chose not to have a cake; instead we had churros and ice cream provided by them. They were INCREDIBLE! Everything was perfect- I would highly recommend them!

We hired San Diego Taco Company to cater a rehearsal dinner for 80. They were great to work with and the food was delicious. Everyone raved about it.

San Diego Taco Company catered my wedding a few days ago and did an amazing job! They were a pleasure to work with from start to finish and my guests were so excited about the food! (Because who seriously doesn't love good Mexican food at a wedding?!) :) We ordered the Nacho Bar (which was a huge hit!), the mini taquitos & flautas, and the taco cart. Everything was so delicious and they even packed up the left overs for us (which my new husband is so happy about!). We are so grateful to this company for giving us such a delicious and incredibly affordable meal on our wedding day and can't rave enough about them! Thank you!!

San Diego Taco Company catered my wedding and they were awesome! I would highly recommend them to anyone. The food is delicious. They were also a joy to work with. Though our venue wasn't very accommodating, the catering team at SD Taco Company had a positive and can-do attitude.

Let's face it: most wedding food sucks. The boring salads, dry chicken, bland vegetable combo is not just lame, but amazingly overpriced. SD Taco Co's rates started at $12/head and was totally delicious! Many of our guests came from out-of-state (WA, NE, and MS) and have trouble finding truly delicious Mexican food at home. Our guests loved that we had something different and fun and raved about the food. It was especially great to know that the meat was all freshly cooked on site. We were also able to take the leftovers home with us, and there are few things in life more wonderful than having a trash bag full of tortilla chips on your counter. Most couples don't get to eat their wedding meal at all, and my husband and I were able to eat it several times over the next few days and were impressed every time we did. Highly recommend!

We actually booked SD Taco Company without doing a "tasting" since we attended a friend's wedding they catered and fell in love. We did go in to meet with one of the gals we had been emailing with, since we were planning from afar before moving back to SD right before the wedding. I guess they don't do actual tastings, so we just purchased a few items while we were there to make sure we were confident in our menu choices. The food is really fantastic. We had a taco cart on-site at our outdoor wedding, and had carne asada, pollo asada, and a veggie option. Along with chips & guac for cocktail hour. And we also ordered agua frescas from them, picked them up a day early, and used those to mix pre-batched cocktails. The line always moved very quickly, despite them making everything right there in front of us. Never a big wait time. There is a TON of food. So your guests will be so full and happy it's ridiculous. Make sure you bring plenty of containers because you get to take leftovers home if you have somewhere to put them!

SD Taco Company is great! They were easy to work with, arrived on time and the food and service was awesome and enjoyed by all. All of our guests love the taco and nacho bar!!!!

San Diego Taco Company catered our vow renewal. It wasn't your typical "taco man" deal. He grilled outside, and served everything from a very nice serving cart inside. He also set up a Nacho Bar that was decorated beautifully. It was a very classy set up for a really great price! The food was excellent and my guests were more than happy to not have been served your typical "dry wedding food". I HIGHLY recommend Ernie & his team at San Diego Taco Company for all your catering needs.
