Absolutely loved working with James for my engagement photos and wedding. He kept us laughing the entire time during both events then we will forever be a part of the core memories...
created. He completely matched our vibe on the wedding day. Everyone is absolutely raving about our photos which we got back around two months early! Thank you so much for everything! Will be recommending you to everyone ❤️
James LITERALLY SAVED OUR WEDDING DAY. Our original photographer backed out 4 days before our wedding. I scrambled to find a new one, ultimately turning to social media where James...
saw my post and let me know he was available shoot our wedding. James quickly contacted me at our scheduled time and learned all of the details of our day within the first two days of contacting him. As I am someone who is considered “Type A,” I genuinely feel like it was easy for me to trust that James would keep all of our details in order and get great shots. His emailing process is incredibly organized and well-managed. On the day of, James made sure we were always on schedule- I didn’t even have to think about it. James is incredibly professional and it’s easy to feel comfortable taking photos with him. We just got our sneak peaks back and I can’t wait to see the rest. I would book him a million times more in the future if I could. We will never be able to thank him enough for capturing our special day!
James and his team are absolutely amazing to work with! We hired him for both photography and videography for our wedding. He was prompt, professional, and very easy to spend all d...
ay with. He worked with us ahead of time to understand everything we envisioned for our big day and help create a photo timeline that fit our needs exactly (i.e. my husband and I had a first look and private vows, and we had a blended wedding which meant I had to change my dress right after the ceremony). Neither my husband nor I are super comfortable in front of the camera, but with James' supervision the day flew by and we felt very relaxed. We received our wedding album within a few weeks, which was way ahead of the estimated 3 month turn-around. And we were blown away with the photos that were included in the album - the lighting was beautiful, and it truly captured our love story exactly the way we imagined our photos would. It was so hard to pick photos to have printed into an album because I wanted to order prints of all 1000+ photos. We are so lucky to have worked with him, and we are so excited to see what our videos look like!
We booked with James back in 2023 for our destination wedding, and we are SO happy we did! He is very professional, easy to contact, and extremely flexible during the process and o...
n our wedding day-tailoring things to fit us as a couple. Him and his team were an absolute joy to be around, making us feel comfortable and at ease through all of the wedding day jitters. Couldn't say enough great things about Salus Media... but I will say this one last thing, JUST BOOK!!
James did both our engagement shoot and the day our wedding, he is so easy to work with, asks you from the start if you have any insecurities and does not force you to do something...
or an angle that you are uncomfortable with, we loved his style of editing and his eye for getting a good shot! Both my husband and I typically don't like getting our picture taken but that was not the case working with James and his team, they make you laugh and joke with you the entire time and make it such a natural process. Highly recommend!

ds. The day of our wedding he and Shelby catered to our needs and were very flexible with the timeline of our day. On top of that, they were very fun to work with, were super personable, and made us feel at ease while getting photographed for our big day. It truly felt like working with friends more than it felt like working with a vendor. We highly recommend Salus Media for any of your photography and videography needs! James is amazing!

look amazing! I am a little awkward sometimes in pictures, but James made me feel comfortable and you definitely cannot tell my awkward-ness in the pictures. You can tell he loves what he does, he is all about the timing of the sunset to get those golden hour shots ;) It was truly so much fun having James photograph our wedding and I would 100% recommend him to everyone!

with Neal and Rachael for the wedding day, and they were awesome! They helped put the bridal party, families, and me at ease plus they were easy to work with. Definitely recommend! We have not received all our photos yet, but the engagement pictures and the ones from the "sneak peak" are beautiful.
So thankful we had Salus Media as our photographer and videographer for our wedding day! James went above and beyond his role as a wedding photographer. Prior to the wedding, Jame...
s made sure to get acquainted with any special requests and created a picture/event timeline. On the day of the wedding, he communicated so well with the venue staff, assisted with my wedding dress bustle (A LOT!), and really helped make sure our timeline for wedding events/pictures was going smoothly. Couldn't picture what our day have been like with a different photographer! Oh, and our sneak peak pictures are beautiful! Could not recommend Salus Media enough.
We had James Salus shoot our wedding 10.02.20. He was great to work with and is a very talented photographer!
