Sam and Sola are INCREDIBLE! They documented both our engagement and our wedding day, and we couldn't be happier. We aren't used to being photographed professionally (read: we're kind of awkward), and they really took the time to get to know us more on a personal level before any of the photo shoots to help us get comfortable. Both the engagement and wedding photos included our dog, and they were so great with him. The turn around time on our sneak peeks were also crazy fast! We couldn't be happier with not just the photos they took for us, but also the entire experience of working with them. We can't wait to book them again for documenting other big family milestones and events in the future!

I've known of Sola and Sam for several years after seeing various photos they have taken for friends/acquaintances, and I've always loved their style! When it came time to select a wedding photographer, they were the first people and ultimately the only people we considered! From the start with our first meeting, we felt so comfortable getting to know them and knew we would be in good hands on our special day. They had such helpful tips to prepare and when it came to our actual wedding day, we laughed all day long with them and taking photos was just plain fun when we traveled to the local park. We are in love with our sneak peek photos and are so excited to see the rest along with our video. If you have the chance to work with this amazing duo, you won't have any regrets and you'll have a blast with plenty of beautiful captures!

We have booked Sola and Sam for maternity pics and family pics when my baby was six months old. I have been so impressed with the quality of their work as well as the experience of taking pictures with them. For both times, we got our pictures back earlier than expected. At the family mini shoots, they are equipped with so many things for young children such as bubbles, music, juice, and a really enthusiastic attitude the entire day. Our pictures came out beautifully. Their price is a little more expensive than other options, but we will not be booking with anyone else. Their services are worth every penny! Do yourself a favor and book with Sola and Sam, you will not regret it.

The moment we got engaged, we knew immediately that we wanted Sam and Sola to document our wedding. We had always admired their work from afar and was so fortunate to be able to hire them for our big day. From our initial conversation, we instantly clicked. They are both so fun loving, easy going and wonderful people to be around that you almost forget that you are in front of a camera. They made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process, it felt like a breeze. We appreciated all of the directions they provided to help capture our best angles. Our wedding photos are those of dreams - there are not enough words to describe how beautiful they turned out. We will keep and cherish these forever. They did an excellent job capturing the vibes and feelings of the day so that when we look back at the photos, we are instantly taken back to that moment. There is truly no one better than Sam and Sola and you will not regret hiring them for all your big life moments!

First off, I literally don’t know what I would’ve done without Sola and Sam!! Sola and Sam are both amazing photographers and such phenomenal human beings. On the day of our wedding, shortly after they arrived, I discovered that critical beading on the inseams of my wedding dress had come undone and was a bit stressed. Sam had come down to bring my dress upstairs to be photographed with the rest of the details and I explained my crisis. I was waiting for my bestfriend to come back from the craft store with beading so we could try to fix it. Sam and Sola reassured me that they would be careful with my dress so it doesn’t unravel further. When my friend came back with the beads, I attempted to but was unsuccessful with stringing the needle and beads (my hands were too shaky and nails too long). Sola and Maria (one of my videographers) jumped in to try to sew the beads back in place. Maria fanned Sola as she meticulously sewed the beading onto my dress. We were already running quite late for the First Look but she took her time and got it done! From a glance, you wouldn’t have even known that it had come undone. Everything stayed in place and I am so grateful to Sola for going above and beyond for me!! Now, going back to how I first discovered Sola and Sam.. They had photographed a friend’s wedding and I decided to check out their instagram. I loved their photography style and instantly knew that I wanted them to photograph our engagement and wedding! From the start, we loved their energy and they made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. Sola and Sam are amazing communicators and gave us a lot of direction, which was super helpful since we’ve never gotten professional couple photos done before. We had so much fun shooting our engagement photos! After seeing the full album, we absolutely trusted doing whatever they would tell us to do come our wedding day. We got our wedding sneak peaks and they were absolutely stunning!!! The photographs were everything and more that I dreamed they would be. Romantic, ethereal, dreamy, timeless.. They work incredibly well together to capture the loveliest photos and we absolutely loved working with them. If you are thinking about booking Sola and Sam, DO IT!! I PROMISE YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!

Sam and Sola are just excellent at their job. We got married one week ago in Kirkland, WA, and we were incredibly happy to have them documenting our special day. During the event, they acted with a lot of professionalism, but were patient with us, kind… and also fun to be around. They were familiar with the venue already, which helped too. Sam and Sola sent us the first batch of photos, about 80, in less than a week, and my wife is in love with them and can't stop looking at them.

Since discovering Sam and Sola's photography on Instagram years ago, I knew I wanted to work with them if I ever got the chance. I love how their photography tells a story, and their work shows how passionate they are and how much they care. After working with them for our engagement shoot, we can whole-heartedly confirm that they are the best! They made us feel so comfortable from the start, coming in with all the right locations and poses which made our engagement session so seamless and fun. They are super easy to work with and so good at what they do. We are so happy with our photos and love how they captured us in such a natural and artistic way. Prior to booking our venue for our recent wedding, I had found Sam & Sola’s work on social media. When I saw their names on our wedding planner’s preferred vendors list, I was thrilled! Sam & Sola turned out to be even better than I ever expected. Not only are the excellent at their craft, they are great humans. They made both our engagement and wedding photos so fun & easy! We were so thrilled with our decision to hire them to document our day, and we cannot wait to see the rest of our wedding photos in a few short months. We would recommend Sam & Sola to anyone!

I followed Sam and Sola for many years on instagram. I loved how passionate they were about their work and how much care they put into their photography. As soon as we were engaged, they were the first vendor we booked after our venue. It was one of the best decisions we have made. We worked with them for our engagement shoot, a Christmas mini-session, and of course, our wedding. Each time, they have made both my partner and I so comfortable. They make it feel like just hanging out with old friends. We are so grateful to Sam and Sola for both the beautiful work they produce and the friendship we’ve gained with them. Sam and Sola were more than amazing to work with. From our engagement photos to our wedding photos, the experiences were seamless. They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and made sure they captured all the emotions we were feeling in each and every photo. Our engagement session with Sola was wonderful! Although it was a cold winter day, she tried her hardest to make us feel comfortable around the camera and guided us smoothly. The photoshoot was efficient and not too lengthy which we really appreciated. The final production came out really neat with the city vibe standing out! Thank you so much!

Sam and Sola shot our wedding this past summer and we honestly can't recommend them enough. Not only were they extremely professional but they were so much fun to work with. They assisted in so many ways other than just the photography and were so helpful with sticking to our timeline and letting us know where we need to be and when. It relieved so much stress from the day. Plus, the photos were even more beautiful than we could have asked for. They are truly amazing at what they do!

We just finished our 4th session with Sam and Sola over the course of the last year and a half(ish) and we can firmly say that we will be clients for life!! We originally looked into Sam and Sola for our wedding, and we decided to also do our engagement photos with them as well (HIGHLY recommend if you are booking them for your wedding, as it gives you a "practice" run with them before the big day). Being a couple who doesn't typically take many pictures, especially candid ones, we were both kind of nervous before our first session with them. Our nerves couldn't have been less necessary, because Sam and Sola have a way to make you feel SO comfortable and they are the best hype men during your sessions. We were so happy with our engagement and wedding photos, that we decided to do their Christmas Mini Sessions as well for both 2021 and 2022 because we simply can't get enough! They will 100% be our photographers for any other life event that we end up needing photos for, and I would recommend them to literally anyone!!! Out of all the vendors we hired for our wedding, they were by far our favorite decision. We love Sam and Sola!!

We worked with Sola for our maternity shoot and we absolutely could not recommend her enough! Sola was super responsive and easy to work with from day one. The entire photo shoot was so much fun and Sola made us feel comfortable the entire time. Thank you, Sola!!!

Sam & Sola captured both our engagement photos as well as our wedding day. I truly mean this when I say they were our most important vendors for our wedding! If you have the chance to book them, do it! Now having worked with them I definitely would advise someone to change their wedding date just to be able to book them. WE LOVE SAM AND SOLA. From meeting them to schedule, postponing due to COVID, and finally having our wedding, they are phenomenal people. We kept in touch with them periodically before the wedding to discuss the logistics of our wedding and how we would be able to obtain the photos that we wanted on that day. The planning process made our wedding more seamless. On the actual day, Sam and Sola were incredible. They kept us calm and guided us throughout the long day. They kept the atmosphere light and fun. Some of our fondest memories from the wedding day was when it was only the two of us taking pictures with them. With all of their amazing work, we had gorgeous photos that we cannot wait to print. Looking through all of them, we were able to play back the moments of our wedding in our head. Sam and Sola are worth every penny and made us feel so special. All the choices, all the stress, all the late nights that came with wedding planning, there was one thing I was sure of, choosing Sam and Sola to be our photographers. First of all their work is BEAUTIFUL. They produce such absolutely stunning pictures. My husband and I not only did our wedding pictures with them, but our engagement pictures as well. They are so incredibly warm and friendly we felt immediately comfortable during the photo shoots. We have received sneak peaks of our wedding already and are in love with how they turned out! My husband and I loved loved loved working with Sam and Sola. When we initially met, I think the biggest thing for us was that we wanted photographers/videographers that made us feel comfortable but are able to capture our silly selves. Immediately, we knew that Sam and Sola had to capture our big day. They made us feel at ease and they ran us through all details in depth. They made our day ran smoothly and were able to capture our unique relationship. I truly think that having them photograph our engagement session made us feel even more comfortable on our wedding day because we already were familiar with each other. Truthfully, I knew I wanted Sam and Sola to be our wedding photographers before I was even engaged. Take one look at their Instagram and you will understand why, every post is breathtaking. What I didn’t know until after our wedding, is how beautiful Sam and Sola are as people too. They are kind, patient, professional and genuinely care for their clients. Grant and I felt so at ease having them with us throughout the day. We were a bit worried for photos on our wedding day, wanting to look natural but having no idea how to pose. Sam and Sola, not only pre-scouted our venue for locations, but made taking pictures feel like hanging out with friends. Kissing, popping champagne and funny noises for our dogs attention turned into emotional, memorable, magical photos. Sola helped me create a detailed timeline for the wedding day (to the 10 mins) and remembered specific poses and locations I wanted to shoot, her attention for detail was beyond helpful on our busy day. I truly could go on and on about these two, I really hope they understand how wonderful they are and how they make couples best day of their lives even better! I am forever grateful we got them as our wedding photographers.

I booked Sola and Sam because I loved the general aesthetic and vibe their work gave off - natural poses in amazing lighting, where the focus is on the couples. After getting my full wedding album back I'm more than amazed and have an entirely new perspective. My absolute favorite thing they did for us was capture the little moments, the impromptu moments, and the unplanned moments. The moments you don't practice in your engagement photos or rehearsal and can't be recreated. My husband's reaction seeing me walk down the aisle, me tearing up seeing my mom and dad in my dress for the first time, the joy we had being announced husband and wife for the first time, etc. I'm still in awe they were able to capture all of these incredibly special moments that I'll have for the rest of my life. Looking back now, it's by far the best money we spent out of anything for our wedding and we would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Thank you Sola and Sam - you both are so incredibly talented!!

Sam and Sola are not only the best wedding photographers around, they are the sweetest and most genuine couple to work with! After working with Sam and Sola for our engagement, wedding, pregnancy and Christmas shoot with our baby, we feel as we've become great friends. They have captured many of our significant milestones and hopefully will continue to capture many more!

Do NOT hesitate to book Sam and Sola!! If you do, they will definitely be booked out before you know it :) Aside from booking the venue, our biggest priority for our wedding was having Sam and Sola for photography and videography. We fell in love with their work that we had seen on Instagram and all of their incredible reviews from their past clients. When we had to post-pone our wedding, we made sure to work around their schedule! They exceeded our expectations in so many ways. It started with our engagement photo shoot when we finally got a chance to meet them in person. Sam and Sola are beautiful inside and out with glowing personalities that make you feel like they were your best friends from college. When we had a question or needed some advice, they were happy to help without hesitation. For example, they gave us recommendations for a day of coordinator, who ended up being absolutely amazing. They were so easy going and helped us to be comfortable to enjoy the process of a photoshoot without being stiff or awkward. We also realized how amazing they work together as professionals. Because we interacted with them during our engagement shoot, we felt super comfortable in front of the cameras on our wedding day because of their instructions and ability to make photo shoots fun! On the wedding day, your photographers and videographers are the people that you usually interact with the most. They put us at ease to direct the perfect shots and navigated us through each part of the day seamlessly. Not to mention, if you hire them for both services, you have a team of two photographers and two videographers. We honestly enjoyed our wedding a lot more having Sam, Sola, Edward, and Jeeny capture our wedding. A few days later after our wedding, we received a surprise at 2am with our sneak peek photos. Unsurprisingly, the photos they sent were phenomenal. Despite the busy 2021 wedding season, they were able to deliver our full wedding album and video within a reasonable timeline. We were so shocked at the pure emotion and all the little moments they were able to capture on our special day. It seemed as though they were were everywhere at once...and we didn't even notice! The entire day was such a whirlwind and we are incredibly thankful that we have these photos to relive every magical memory for the rest of our lives.

We stumbled upon Sam and Sola via Instagram while browsing for Seattle wedding photographers and we lucked out! They are the definition of a power couple that works incredibly well together in helping you capture your dream wedding. They are very direct and up front, professional, FUN!, easy to talk to, and great at making you feel comfortable in front of the came on your big day! To say Sam and Sola is AMAZING to work with is an understatement, honestly. They truly made the entire experience feel so easy and comfortable. We have loved every conversation, interaction, and photoshoot with them. They are so professional, true experts, and so fun! It feels like good friends coming to your wedding and making you feel so special and loved. With the pandemic forcing most, if not, all of us to change our wedding plans, Sam and Sola made it so easy. They were proactive with communication and made sure we had an option to reschedule. During the wedding day, they jumped in to help with tasks completely outside of their scope of work. When they found out our day of coordinator went MIA on us, they were so sweet to help step in for some of the things our day of coordinator would have done. That literally put me in tears when I heard about it from my sisters. Without them, our day wouldn’t have gone so smoothly. We don’t even need to mention the absolutely jaw dropping photos, there is no doubt they do amazing photography, but it’s everything else on top of that, that makes them 1000% worth it. We cannot wait to work with them again on future photoshoots. Also, after interacting and seeing how awesome Sam and Sola are, both of my sisters already said they are definitely asking them to be a part of their weddings in the future.

Sam and Sola did a wonderful job planning and making sure our wedding photos turned out perfectly. On the day of our wedding, they were prompt and extremely patient, considering we had such a big wedding party. They made a plan in case of rain, and we felt like they knew the city and places they wanted to photograph already, which made the photographs progress smoothly and turn out beautiful. They were very also accommodating to our requests, which made our photos more individualized and personal to us. Sam and Sola went above and beyond when it came to interacting with our friends and family. It was so much fun having our pictures taken with our wedding party. Our preview photos alone showed so much of the joy we had that day. We were so surprised how much we felt comfortable taking professional photos when we first worked with Sam and Sola for our engagement shoots. When it came to our wedding day, they were nothing but professional, engaging, and so personable to our friends, family, and guests. We hope that we can work with them for professional photos in the future!

Where do we even begin? Sam and Sola have been with us through our entire engagement and wedding journey! We hired them to capture the proposal (which was in the middle of a major snow storm, yet they still made the trek to Gasworks Park to be there for our special moment). They flew down to Southern California where we live to do our engagement shoot (which required them to drive out to Malibu at the crack of dawn to catch the sunrise). They helped us plan our wedding in the middle of a global pandemic and were by far one of the most helpful vendors in making our big day come together smoothly. And of course, they did the photography and videography on our wedding day. Sam and Sola and their entire team are way more than just photographers/videographers. They have so much experience in the wedding business and provide so many helpful tips and advice throughout the whole wedding planning process. On top of that, they are truly wonderful people inside and out and have become our friends. They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and were able to capture the most special and intimate moments that we can look back on for generations to come. We watch the cinematic film of our wedding day all the time and cry every single time. It has clips from our engagement shoot, our wedding day, and even personal footage that Sam inserted as a special flashback to the early days of our relationship. We are so grateful we got to work with Sam and Sola through our entire wedding journey and hope to work with them again in the future for Christmas photos, maternity shoots, family photos, literally anything that involves a camera :) They deserve all the recognition in the world for the amazing work they do. Sam & Sola are beyond amazing photographers! We could not be happier with our photos and overall experience with this lovely couple. From the very beginning, they were very accommodating and helped us customize our special two-location engagement session that matched our vision and budget. They were always super kind and bubbly through all email and text correspondence and this same personality shined through in-person as well. They directed us in a way that made us look like our best selves and we had such a fun time with this genuinely sweet couple! I can also say that their photography and editing skills are definitely worth the money. For one of our sessions, we went during the peak of UW Cherry Blossom season so we were little nervous that the pictures might not turn out because of the crowds. BUT we are so glad we trusted Sam & Sola because the pictures turned out amazing and it looks like no one else is even there! So so so magical! The photos are all so special and printed perfectly for my Save the Dates, wedding website, and guestbook. We wish we could have hired them for our wedding as well, but they were already booked (not surprising). I first heard of and started following Sam & Sola before I had even met my wife. So it goes without saying that when Debbie and I got engaged they were the first ones we went to for photography for our wedding. Sam & Sola far surpassed all of our expectations and were the most incredible photography duo that we could have ever asked for to capture our special day! Like many COVID weddings, we had to go through multiple iterations of planning and replanning for our wedding. Through it all Sam & Sola remained supportive and flexible through all of our changes and continued to offer their advice on how we could make our wedding day go as smoothly as possible! They were even willing to make the trek from Seattle down to the San Francisco Bay Area to shoot our wedding in the middle of a pandemic, truly showing how committed and amazing they are. On top of that Sola was pregnant with their first baby and still took the time to work with us and shoot our wedding! Looking through our wedding photos, we are able to relive our special and day and it truly was perfect! We are so thankful for Sam & Sola and are so grateful to have made an amazing friend in the process of our wedding planning! If you're looking for a photographer, definitely book Sam & Sola!

We booked with Sam and Sola before this year even began and it just happened to be one of the best decisions ever. I was recommend Sola from a friend and started following her instagram immediately. Sola's personality truly shines through her posts and instagram stories so if you are unsure about hiring them, go there to take a look and get to know them. You can see just how passionate she is about her work, how much she cares and how truly genuine she is. There was this one story that sealed the deal for me and it was her talking about not needing to worry about anything because her and Sam weren't doing their job if you weren't feeling comfortable. Being the most awkward person ever, that was important to me. Leading up to our shoot, I was super stressed. COVID made many things harder with additional uncertainty. Not being able to work out in my normal environment made me extremely body conscious and I took forever deciding on an outfit. Thankfully Sola sent us an outfit guide to review. During our shoot, Sam and Sola gave us a lot of direction and feedback. They continuously encouraged us and cheered us on. They were amazing to work with and delivered us our sneak peak 3 days after our shoot! It was amazing! The photos speak for themselves but since you cannot see them on the review, let me just tell you they are my most favorite photos of us ever. I would definitely recommend them to you and any friends looking for a photographer. You won't be disappointed!

Sam & Sola are THE best! I came across Sola's profile on Instagram few years back and I told my then future husband that I want her as our wedding photographer and sure enough, we made it happen! I absolutely love how Sam and Sola capture their clients' special moment on camera. They're the perfect husband-wife duo you can have for your big day and they're so fun to be around! We had our engagement shoot in Cannon Beach, OR and they guided us (let us loose from our awkward moments and poses...) and made us feel very comfortable! We had a blast hanging out with them and seriously felt like we've known them for a long time. Also, due to COVID, we had to change our date and weren't able to hold a reception, but they made sure we maximized our investment and time to get more photos at Rattlesnake, which is close to our venue (The Club at Snoqoualmie Ridge). My husband and I can't truly thank Sam and Sola enough for capturing our moments and making us look beautiful in every single picture. They are definitely worth the investment. Don't think twice and book them asap!

My husband and I would highly recommend Sam and Sola, they are definitely worth the investment! Photography for us was by far the most important vendor for our wedding and we had the hardest time finding anyone in our area we loved. When we came across Sam and Sola's beautiful work we knew they were exactly what we were looking for! We even changed the date of our wedding in order to book with them. They are a very professional and caring couple, from start to finish our experience with them was wonderful. They were very responsive to all of my questions which put us at ease. They were punctual and arrived early from out of state to scope out places to shoot at our venue. We had a small intimate wedding (30 people) and they made us and our guests feel comfortable the entire day. Since we had two venue locations having both photographers was a huge plus for us, they were able to work simultaneously at each site in order to keep us on schedule. Our pictures arrived quickly and turned out beautiful. We will cherish them for the rest of our lives, we can't thank them enough! (P.S I feel terrible its been a year since our wedding day and I'm finally getting around to writing this review!)

Sam & Sola were incredible! We hired them for our wedding to do photos & video. The direction they gave helped us immediately feel comfortable getting our photos taken. During the ceremony they blended in to the background and didn't distract from our special day. As we made what felt like 100 adjustments with Covid-19, they were truly supportive to ensure our day was captured in the best possible light. I would 10/10 recommend Sam & Sola, totally worth the investment!

Hiring Sam and Sola was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding! Our photos turned out stunning and they do an excellent job of blending into the background. They gave easy directions during our photos, were prompt in saying on time and were overall a blast to work with. They got along with everyone and I had full trust in them the entire day! Lastly, they were extremely flexible when we had to change our venue location with COVID-19 and we couldn't have been happier with them.

Sam and Sola perfectly captured the best day of our lives, and I’m so glad we have these beautiful photos to remember that day. My husband and I don’t take many photos, so we aren’t the most comfortable in front of the camera. We were pretty nervous before our engagement shoot with Sam and Sola, but they made us feel comfortable and relaxed within the first 10 minutes of meeting. Sam and Sola have such a fun and positive energy, it’s impossible to not smile when you’re around them. I love that they encouraged us to be our natural and true selves, I never felt like I was posing for the camera. Our engagement shoot experience was so amazing that we had literally zero concerns for our wedding photography. The photos from both the engagement shoot and wedding are absolutely stunning. My jaw dropped when I first saw them. Everyone and everything looks so beautiful, they captured so many awesome moments from the day that I’ll cherish forever. I’m so thankful for Sam and Sola, and I cannot recommend them enough!

What a dream team! We booked Sam and Sola on a recommendation from our wedding planner and couldn’t have asked for two better people to capture our special days. We had already taken engagement photos with another photographer, but when Sam and Sola offered some city pictures for us we couldn’t turn it down. They work with their couples with such ease and capture the emotions so easily. There were not many static or staged pictures, but they allowed us to be our goofy selves. The work they each produce is phenomenal! We are a bit biased, but they are the best wedding pictures and videos we have ever seen. The videos, sneak peak and full length, were amazingly edited and evoked so much emotion from each of us and all of our family members and friends. Our pictures are so beautiful and elegant and we can’t wait to print them to put all over our home! Look no further for a photographer and videographer, Sam and Sola are where it’s at!

These two were magic together and in their work. My fiancé and I had never had professional pictures done before, but they made it so easy and so much fun! Not only where they so incredibly talented in their photography, but they were funny and genuinely had interest in us as a couple. It felt like an afternoon hanging out with friends, and in the end, me and my fiancé have the most BEAUTIFUL pictures to show for it. Sam and Sola are two of the most talented, amazing, sweet, and fun people you will ever meet! Choosing them as our photographers was the most rewarding decision we have made for our wedding. Looking back, we can't help but to have a heart full of gratitude for them.   As a couple, we were not the most photogenic or outgoing people, and were camera shy. But Sam and Sola made us feel comfortable and look so good! They truly are so gifted and talented in what they do. They brought out the joy, love, and excitement we both carried as we looked forward to this next season of our lives. During our engagement photo shoot, they were so encouraging that we felt like we had cheerleaders on our side! As we got to know Sam and Sola more on a personal level, we knew that both Sam and Sola were extremely caring and devoted to their clients, to their friends, and to their families.  As our wedding day approached, we got to know a little bit about how hard Sam and Sola worked as we reunited for our cousin's wedding. We saw them run up and down through the wind, rain, people, servers, guests, as they captured every detail. We knew that they preview their locations, analyze lighting patterns with the sun and weather, prepare for traffic situations. We discovered that they spend hours and hours editing and photoshopping. They truly work really hard and love what they do.  Our wedding day was such a blur, but as we look back on the pictures that Sam and Sola had promptly prepared for us, we can't help but smile and cry and reminisce about how perfect and joyful it was. We felt very assured that Sam and Sola would deliver and they still exceeded our expectations.   There aren't enough words to describe Sam and Sola, not just as photographers, but as people, but we'll give this a try. They are in no particular order.. timely, prompt, warm, fun, professional, flexible, thorough, detailed, talented, caring, humble, hard-working, and finally they are friends. Sola and Sam were the first people that we hired as soon as we found our venue. We made sure they were available on our date because as soon as we saw their photos, we knew we had to have them capture our day! They are beyond amazing... not only are their photos beautiful, they are the absolute sweetest people who will make you feel so comfortable and like a million bucks at the same time! My husband and I were beyond ecstatic with all the photos Sam and Sola were able to capture. We had them for our engagement shoot as well as our wedding day and as the biggest part of our budget, they were worth every penny. They give off this enthusiastic vibe that instantly makes you warm up to them and trust them in all their photography direction. I’m sure a lot of couples think they are awkward when taking photos together, believe me - we are one of those couples - but every time Sam and Sola showed us our photos, they somehow had magically captured us in the most breathtaking light and the most comfortable and natural emotions. We truly saw our love for each other through their work and for that, we will be forever grateful. There really isn’t enough appreciation we can say in a short review like this, but one of my favourite quotes is this - “It’s kind fun to do the impossible” - Walt Disney - and let me tell you, they have so much fun doing the impossible and they bring so much joy to so many people’s lives during some of their most important life moments.

Hands down the best decision we made in our entire wedding planning process was booking Sam and Sola as our photographers. They are the most personable and professional pair and were and absolute pleasure to work with. Sam and Sola made us feel comfortable and captured our day in a refreshingly natural way. Normally my husband and I feel awkward in front of a camera but Sam and Sola helped us relax and somehow made us look incredible! I want to start off by saying that Sola and Sam are hands down the BEST photographers (and the cutest couple ever). Not only are they super AMAZING at photography/videography, but what truly sets them apart is how they genuinely care about their clients and making sure they absolutely love the final product they deliver. They made each photoshoot (engagement, bridal and wedding) so comfortable, casual and fun, which was super important for us as my husband does not like getting his picture taken and is especially uncomfortable doing photoshoots in busy public areas. Sola and Sam knew strategies to help him tune out all the people/noise around him and he was able to relax and act naturally -- We enjoyed every minute of it! Also, we were very impressed by their level of professionalism - it was apparent that they hold themselves to a high standard in every aspect of their business. Not once did they make us have to question or worry about anything, we knew 100% from the get-go that our photos and videos would turn out perfectly and they did! No review could ever be enough to describe how grateful we are to Sola and Sam and how happy we are to have them as friends.

Sam and Sola are incredible! They were, by far, the best vendors at our wedding. However, we don’t like to think of them as vendors because we feel like they are now our friends. Our experience with them was completely personalized and our photos turned out so beautiful they brought us to tears. We booked Sam and Sola two years ago (before we were engaged) because we loved the style of their work for our beach wedding. It was very important to us to have photographers we clicked with because we wanted to be at ease with them for our big day. Sam and Sola were the only photographers we met with, because they were amazing from the start! We booked them for our engagement shoot too and we were blown away with the photos and the entire experience of doing a photoshoot up in the mountains. We ended up booking wedding day videography with them as well. Sam, Sola, and their team were professional, friendly, genuine, creative, will do just about anything for their couple (in my case, grab a grasshopper out of the tulle of my dress) and are absolutely the best! They listened to what we wanted, but also took full advantage of the venue and took photos we wouldn’t have even imagined. We felt so thankful for them the day of the wedding. I recommend them to everyone I know!

We met Sola and Sam early on when they were just starting their business. While they didn't have a big social media presence or portfolio of work at that time, we could always tell they had a knack for capturing special moments beautifully. They were professional, responsive, and were always helpful in providing advice whether it's engagement session locations or the wedding day timeline. I remember they were constantly scoping out locations for photos during the engagement session even when we were done and on our way back to the car. They were asking us if we’d be okay taking a couple more pictures because they thought this one shot would be perfect! I can't imagine having any other photographers capture our engagement and wedding day. The photos are not only absolutely STUNNING but what you can't see from their photos is how comfortable they made us feel in front of the camera. We loved our photos so much and had such an incredible experience that we booked a christmas session with Sam and Sola after our wedding. We’re so incredibly grateful to have met such extremely talented photographers who are so passionate about their work that we constantly recommend them to all our friends and family. It’s been 3 years from the time we had our first meeting with Sola and Sam to when we had our last Christmas session with them. While their social media following has grown significantly, they still remain the same kind, down to earth, thoughtful, super fun to hang around photographers we knew from the beginning. We would 1000% percent recommend them to anyone who has photography needs!

I spent a lot of time pouring over my review of Sam and Sola. I wanted to find the right adjectives to best describe what you would get when you hire them. I wanted to say something different from what you already read from other reviews. But all I can really say is HIRE THEM IMMEDIATELY! Besides the fact that they are professional, organized, and will produce the most beautiful picture you will ever witness, you will get the opportunity to work with the best couple! I can't rave about them enough! Sam and Sola will join you on the dance floor, get down in the dirt (literally) to get the best picture, and make sure your guest feel glamorous like they're walking down the red carpet. Till this day, my in-laws and parents are still raving about how much they love Sam and Sola for making them feel comfortable in front of the camera and bringing their fun personalities along with it. I know that in 5, 10, and 15 years later Damon and I will be sitting on a couch, drinking coffee, and looking back at one of our most happiest day of our lives and it's all thanks to Sam and Sola.

My husband and I are blown away! We look through our engagement and wedding photos every day! Not only are Sam and Sola incredibly easy to get along with, but they are beyond amazing at what they do. They were the best investment we made. To be completely honest, we had booked a photographer prior to Sam and Sola. After our “not so pleasant” experience leading up to and during our engagement shoot with our prior photographer, we decided to invest in Sam and Sola. Immediately, we experienced a complete 180 with Sam and Sola. They accommodated to our needs and took it upon themselves to carry out all the logistics. We were able to completely trust them and enjoy the process – as every couple should. Not only are they professional and communicative, but they truly value connection with their clients. They take the time to get to know clients, including their preferences and vision for their wedding. We had so many transitions and demands with 350 guests. Even as hectic and demanding as it was, we literally had the best time at our wedding. There were so many eventful moments we hoped to have been captured and we are so happy that everything was captured beautifully. And now we can always look back and cherish those priceless moments. We are forever grateful for their hard work, guidance, and attention to detail. I will tell you from experience, there are photographers who do not value these things and lack in certain areas. Let me save you your time and heartache. Invest in Sam and Sola, because they excel in all areas and will not disappoint! We even got our sneak peek the day after our wedding and our whole wedding album within 6 weeks. I mean, wowowowow! They were voted Seattle Bride Magazine’s “Best Photography” of 2019 for a good reason!

We struggled the hardest deciding on a photographer. I wanted pictures to be classy, not too dramatic or cheesy. Although it was above our initial budget for a photographer, my fiance really liked their style (and he didn't have too much opinion on anything else about the wedding), I am so glad we went with Sam and Sola because I don't regret at all. Not only the pictures came out beyond our expectations, working with them was the best. You spend the longest with your photographers (among the vendors) on your wedding day, and I worried because I thought I was gonna die from feeling awkward being photographed. Sam and Sola made us feel like we were just joking around and having fun, so I didn't end up looking like Chandler from Friends in photos. They were professional, very considerate and sweet, and we couldn't have asked for better pictures for us to cherish when we are old. Thank you again for everything. *hugs*
