Sam Benyon Video

I can not stress to anyone enough who is considering Sam Benyon as their videographer, Do NOT do it. I didn’t even want to give him even a 1 star but you have to select something . I will break it down as short as possible. He was late showing up, seemed very disorganized when he finally arrived. We selected the two-person video option to which Sam told me “I need to go check on my other guy to make sure he knows what he’s doing and help him” Not exactly what you want to hear from your videographer. My fiancé and I got ready at two locations, me at our house and my now hubby at the wedding location which was less than 8 minutes apart. My wedding coordinator had to repeatedly go and find Sam to have him video important what she and the party knew he was missing. My photographer had told me that Sam told her, he was more important and to stay out of his was and was also trying to get the photographers assistant to assist him/Sam by holding some of his equipment. Sam was a nightmare at the wedding. We got married on October 3rd 2021 and Sam told us based off the package we selected, he estimated our wedding video to be completed in about one to two months. SIX MONTHS LATER, we were given many excuses as to why he was still not finished with it. I grew completely tiresome of the constant excuses and requested a discount to which he agreed and would provide it in a week but Sam also admitted to us that he has a bad habit of doing this to people and is why he never ask’s for online reviews. Two weeks after that… we finally got our video. Some of the shots looked like the camera was handed to a toddler. Literally video of our legs up to our waist and then the camera goes into an entirely different direction. Footage bouncing all over the place and then filming things from behind us rather than catching our expressions or anything. We are missing so many good things from our wedding. Not even our songs we selected are in the video AT ALL, Sam chose his own music. not to mention after six months of not only waiting but our video was only 6 minutes long. I’m so heart broken and beyond extremely disappointed and even still in shock right now.

My husband and I used Sam Benyon Video for our wedding video, and he did an incredible job! He was very accommodating a knowledgeable throughout the whole experience. Our shorter "highlight" wedding video really captured who we are and everything that made the day special for us. The entire wedding footage captured so many wonderful moments and really will be a great treasure for us in our marriage.

Sam did an excellent job with our wedding video. He has an artists eye that captured all of our favorite moments! We can't wait to watch it every anniversary.
