Sam Dean Photography

We love Sam. There is really no other way to say it. Sam did our engagement photos last year and wowed us with his work. From the very beginning, he made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. For the wedding, he and a colleague shot our group for twelve hours and were unobtrusive while managing to get some amazing pictures. He is willing to do a particular pose if you would like, but the true magic is when you let him capture the moments as they come. He is a photojournalist by trade, so his pictures truly do tell the story, which was what we wanted. We just got our pictures, and going through them one-by-one allowed us to relive the day from beginning to end. Oh, and his detail shots are unbelievable! Sam was professional, easy to work with, respectful of our party and guests, and an extremely hard worker. We are so thankful for the memories he has left with us. Book him and book him early!

Sam and kyle were so fun to work with! We had a great time and their pictures were amazing. He definately put his own style on the pictures and they turned out gorgeous. We couldnt be happier with the pictures!

I used Sam Dean for my engagement pics as well as my wedding photos. Let me just tell you that the few pics you see here is not even a preview of how amazing his work is. Coming from someone who googles everything for reviews and wants to make sure the person they are hiring is worth the money, look no further. Sam shows up with ideas you would not even dream of and will even watch your Pinterest for new thoughts or special poses, should you make a board like I did. I heard about him from my coworker who used him and during my entire wedding event, he was always there snapping thousands of pictures. He was even the time keeper when I was losing track of time, to make sure I got my "creative" poses I always wanted. He was relaxed and yet organized. He is invaluable to any event. You cannot recreate your event so trust me, do yourself a favor and splurge on Sam Dean instead of something like chair covers- nobody will remember what your linen looked like but they will love the captured moments Sam is able to get.

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Sam on our wedding day. He was extremely laid back, very creative, and inconspicuously caught every special moment throughout the day. Sam definitely took the lead and showed us his creativity ability, but was also open for our input and willing to take whatever pictures we wanted as well. He was a trooper the whole 12-hour day, even if that meant taking pictures for over 5 hours in 101+ degree heat! Sam amazingly captured really special moments that only lasted a split second, and all of his photos show an unbelievable amount of emotion. After the wedding, Sam had a sneak peek posted online within a few days and all of our photos to us to view within a week! When we saw our photos for the first time, the only thing we could say was, “Wow!” We have shown our wedding pictures to several people already, and the recurring feedback is, “Those are the best wedding photos we have ever seen! Who was your photographer?" We have no hesitation recommending Sam to our friends and look forward to using him for additional photo shoots in the future!
