Queen City Band!! They were so fun, talented, and had all of our guests up and dancing the entire night! They were great with communication prior to the wedding, and fulfilled our song requests without issue. Could not have been any happier with our band choice! Guests had a blast, and we were thrilled :)

Sam Hill was great to work with during our wedding planning process! We had 1st Generation Band perform (HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!) at our reception and all of our guests enjoyed them. Sam Hill was quick to respond to emails and reach out, really made the planning portion easy!

Cannot recommend Sam Hill and Mo' Sol enough!! We had Mo' Sol play for our wedding reception and it was the highlight of the evening. We communicated with Miss Mo weeks before the wedding. She made sure to double check all of the details with us so the evening could run smoothly. They put on the most amazing show, starting with low-key songs during dinner, to first dances, to a full on party later in the evening. Our family and friends still talk about how amazing the band was. Thank you Mo Sol and Miss Mo for your talent, professional attitude, and for making our reception one to remember!

We had 1st Generation Band at our wedding, and they were fantastic! They were fun, entertaining and engaging for the entire reception. I lost count of the number of guests who told me it was the best wedding band they had ever seen. They even let me jump on the drums and play one song with them lol. They were exceptional, and I would recommend them to anyone!

We booked The New Royals for our 9.15.2018 wedding and it was honestly the best decision that we made. We continue to have SO many compliments and they were able to accommodate everything we had requested, and then do even more. Leading up to the big day, Ryan was so amazing to work with and helped us figure out everything from speaker issues to the wiring. We loved every minute of our planning process and they made it so easy. Not only was this band just absolutely talented beyond belief, but they dealt with an unruly guest that kept wanting to jump upstage like absolute pros. Everybody danced the entire night away and all of the pictures show that the dance floor was completely full until the sparkler exit. Many of our engaged friends keep asking who the band was and we happily keep referring The New Royals to everybody. They went so above and beyond what we could have ever dreamed of and we are so grateful for them making our wedding day complete! :)

First Generation band was WONDERFUL!! I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I booked the band last year when there was 8 members and now they’ve added two more to be a total of 10! They took over the reception hall and KILLED IT! They exceeded our expectations and kept the dance floor high energy all night long! One of the first thing I booked after getting engaged was this band. I knew from the start that I wanted a big Motown band with horns and they delivered just that! They even learned an intro to my husband’s favorite song for us to walk out to last minute. I totally forgot to ask Morris (band leader) to learn it until the Tuesday before the wedding and they still managed to pull it off and it sounded great! I told Morris I will definitely be recommending them in the future! The schedule of the wedding was constantly changing with times for cake cutting, sparkler exit, etc and they just continued to go with the flow and made things very easy! They were very accommodating and everyone I got a chance to interact with was very sweet! They let the best man (who is a drummer in a band) play a song on the drums and that was amazing! Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect band to lead the night. If you’re looking for an easy going, high energy, great sounding band 1st generation band is it!!

We hired the band, The Retreat, through Sam Hill Entertainment. They were awesome! I had never seen them perform before, so I just took a chance. I have received so many compliments in regards to the band. They were so energetic and stayed at a good volume - loud enough to enjoy and dance to, but not so loud as to ruin all conversations. They played a variety of songs, so it never felt repetitive. I would 100% hire them again!

Simply said, Sam Hill Entertainment was wonderful to work with. They made the entire band booking process so easy and coordinated directly with our planner for all day of details. We filled out a quick survey with instructions, and they did they rest. Sam Hill was professional, responsive and proactive throughout the entire band-booking process. Really made our lives so much easier. Their website is easy to use and the band intro videos they provide really give you a sense of what you can expect. We could not be happier with the band we ended up booking (The A-Town A-List... we added a Sax) and Sam Hill Entertainment!

1st Generation Band played at my daughter's wedding reception in April 2018, and they were absolutely fabulous. We had heard them play at a party in January 2018 and thought they were wonderful then. But somehow they were even more fabulous at the reception. Everyone was dancing. It was such a great evening and party, and 1st Generation Band certainly contributed to the smashing success of the evening! I highly recommend them! Not only are they great but so nice and pleasant!

The New Royals were absolutely incredible at our wedding! They were so high energy and kept the dance floor going all night. I can't even keep track of the number of guests who told us they were the best wedding band they've heard or "how did you find them!" We asked the band to play a lot of Top40 hits to keep the dance floor going and some country and they were amazing. We couldn't have been happier with their performance and our decision to hire them. Thank you Sam Hill for making the booking process super easy and seamless. Andy was so helpful and great at answering all our questions and making sure we were happy.

After booking the venue, Mo Sol was the first vendor we hired. I had seen them perform at two weddings before, and I knew we just HAD to have them for our reception. This band *throws down* and they can sing any song you can think of. Our guests had a blast interacting with the band, singing along, dancing on the stage, and just generally having the very best time! Booking them through Sam Hill Entertainment is a breeze. The pre-event questionnaire and chat with bandleader Ms. Monique ensure that everything is just as you want it to be, special requests can be accommodated, and the band can get a sense of the vibe you're going for. That's so helpful for putting your mind at ease and just getting to enjoy the wedding weekend. If you're looking for a high-energy band and you know your guests want to dance and have fun, Mo Sol is absolutely the band to pick!

We had The After the Party Experience Band at my daughter's wedding this past weekend and they were phenomenal! They were everything they wanted in a band-high energy, playing all the songs they wanted, keeping the dance floor full from the moment they started playing! It was awesome. Everyone talked about what a great band they were. Sam Hill Entertainment was very easy to work with too. Highly recommend. Worth every penny.

We booked the band Mo' Sol for my daughter's wedding this April, and we were thrilled with their performance. Everything about the experience was exemplary, from the initial booking with Sam Hill Entertainment through the reception night experience. Sam Hill was prompt, clear and accurate about all contract information and band requirements and kept us informed all along the way concerning everything we needed to think about that related to having the band perform for our event. Our guests raved about Mo' Sol's performance - we had so much fun dancing to their music. They were all great to work with. I would book the band and use Sam Hill again in a heartbeat.

We had a great experience with Sam Hill Entertainment and booked Sonic Groove as our wedding band. They are true professionals and everything was executed seamlessly. The communication was so stream-lined to let us know how the process works, answer any questions we had and manage expectations effectively. They made this part of wedding planning stress-free and more importantly, fun! You will be well taken care of with this company and they were the soundtrack to the best night of my life!

My husband and I reviewed hundreds of band videos without finding what we wanted for our daughter’s wedding. Until, that is, we stumbled upon the Mo’Sol video and were blown away. Our daughter and her fiancée had already decided that a DJ would be better for their wedding, but quickly changed their minds once we showed them this clip. People at our wedding could not get over how wonderful this band was. Not only are leader Ms. Monique and all members of her band incredibly talented singers and dancers with an extensive playlist that includes a lot of Motown hits, but they approached our event with wonderful enthusiasm and energy that lasted the entire evening. They MADE the party, for which we are deeply grateful. Worth every penny of their not inconsiderable fee. Also, communicated with us reliably and showed up promptly for the gig.

We had The Free play at our wedding in October. Not only were they very accommodating, they were the hit of the night! They engaged with our wedding guests and kept the night going. There was not a dull moment all night. I had so many of my wedding guests saying how much they loved the band. If you’re looking for a band for any event you’ve found them!

I can't even begin to describe how awesome Mo Soul was. EVERYONE keeps raving about how great they were and how they made the wedding so fun. They also were patient with me (the bride) when I wanted to get up on stage and pretend I was famous and sing. They were fun, energetic, and had the best selection of music. The Sam Hill folks were easy to communicate with and were flexible on set up timing as my reception was the same room as the ceremony. My wedding would not have been the same without them!!

This past October 28th saw one of our family's greatest moments, our daughter's wedding. A moment to be remember forever. Of course, holding it on the 14 and 15th floors of Ventanas in downtown Atlanta engulfed in glass with a full view of the Atlanta skyline helped. But, the New Royals took it to another level! The dance floor was packed all night. Never less than that! Even our 5 yr. old grand daugher took to the floor, along with other children her age. She even took the mic at intermission and tried to mimic the Royals. People of all ages commented it was the BEST of all bands heard at a wedding. Indeed, they were truly awesome. offering a wide range of music, something for everyone, including all all-captivating - SWEET HOME ALABAMA to include Georgia fans. We hired The Free for our wedding and OMG we cannot say enough good things about them. This band is 1,000x better than their online promotion video and recordings show them to be! I had people coming up to me all night raving about the band, asking where did I find them? They really know how to create a fun atmosphere and they are insanely talented. SO MUCH BETTER than we ever expected, and so much better in person than online. If you are considering booking them, do not hesitate another minute.

Sam Hill was a great company to work with for choosing a band with the vibe we were wanting at our reception. The A Town A List band was awesome! Our first dance was to a song not on their list but even with the short notice they learned the song for us which sounded beautiful and just like the original singer! After the cake cutting it was party time and the dance floor was never empty! They had the energy and fun going all night! We still have guests raving about The A Town A List and asking for the bands information to have them entertain at their parties!

We had a great experience working with Sam Hill and our band, Affirmative Groove. Everyone raved about our band at our wedding and how they got all the guests up and moving! The band was easy to work with and very responsive to our email requests. They also learned a new song for our first dance. My husband would have liked for the band leader to emcee the party a little more. My advice would be to make sure you sit down with the band and go over exactly what you want them to say and when. We did a specific timeline that they really did try to follow but in retrospect I would have spelled it out more. You will be have a fun party with this band--a good value for the price as well!

The New Royals performed at our wedding and we couldn't have been happier with our choice of band. We searched and searched because we really feel like a band can make or break the wedding vibes. We chose the New Royals because we thought they would bring energy and fun to our wedding and we were right. They were SO energetic and positive throughout the entire night.. they even got in the crowd to dance and sing and made sure everyone was involved. Almost everyone was on the dance floor during their performance.. it was really such a fun night. Their song selection was also good.. people were singing along to the songs and everyone enjoyed themselves which was our goal for the wedding! Couldn't have been happier with this band. Great people, great music, great energy.. highly recommend!!!

Sam Hill as a company was great to work with and easy. I had trouble with the band, 1st Generation. Don't get me wrong - the guests loved them! But I had spoken with the band multiple times before the event going over the same details, as did my wedding planner. These little details went wrong the day of, and of course no one would notice but the bride/groom but still. I.E when we did our grand entrance the band kept adding on to the song they were playing so we were standing awkwardly at the stairs for a solid 2 minutes waiting for them to stop and almost the whole wedding noticed and gathered around us just awkwardly standing there... There seemed to be some issues with the iPod switches (which could be venue hook up, idk) but they weren't ready for mother/son iPod song so they stood their awkwardly for 3 minutes waiting. They MISSED and FORGOT to play the cake cutting song and didn't have someone ready to play iPod when they went on breaks so there were long gaps of no music... Lastly, they totally ignored songs we specifically requested -i.e favorite songs. But, from a sound perspective they are great and guests loved them. Just weren't the best logistically for someone type A or who cares abut those things.

Sam Hill supports some truly amazing bands, including Mo' Sol, who we had play at our wedding. Working with Sam Hill was easy and they were always communicative about what they needed from me and vice versa. If you want an AMAZING band that keeps your guests on the dance floor ALL NIGHT, definitely check out Mo' Sol! Ms. Monique is spectacular!

We had a great experience with Sam Hill. We booked Sonic Groove and from the planning process to end of our reception, everything was taken care of. Not only did all of our guests tell us that Sonic Groove was the best band they've ever seen at a wedding, but the planning process was incredible. As a bride you want to make sure everything is confirmed, organized and taken care of and with Sam Hill we got that.

The Free provided the sound for our daughter's marriage on Labor Day 2017. The band and the vocal team (Will and Jean) were very interactive with the people. The dance floor was hopping all night! The Sound Guy kept the volume so you could converse even on the dance floor but sufficiently loud. It may seem like a small thing but made a big difference to Dad! The band effortlessly was able to perform a wide genre. Also, they learned a new song just for the occasion and it way top notch. The Free came 501 miles to WV for us and their fee was worth every penny.

I was hesitant to book a band before seeing them live but after having Sonic Groove perform at our wedding I would have NO hesitations to use any of the bands that Sam Hill would provide! We got so many compliments from our guests about Sonic Groove. They kept the dance floor full, their entire set list is awesome , they learned a new song for our father daughter dance, I wish I could have bought a sound track from that night!!! I can not say enough great things about this band and how easy Sam Hill entertainment made it to work with them. Highly recommend Sam Hill and Sonic Groove!

We had a great experience working with Sam Hill. They are so on top of things and really walk you through the entire booking process. We used 1st Generation Band and loved them too! They were really fun and we had a great time.

Going into our wedding planning process the band was the most important vendor to us. My husband and I both love to dance at weddings and knew we wanted to keep our guests on the dance floor all night! The New Royals were in our price range and we thought their demo sounded amazing so we booked them! Sam Hill Entertainment was not always the easiest to work with. We went back and forth on the rider a bit but were able to work everything out. We also had an issue closer to the wedding where they wanted more setup time than agreed upon but eventually settled on what was already handled in the signed contract. They finally agreed that the time we gave them would be just fine. We also ordered speakers through them for the ceremony and cocktail hour and after already telling me they could provide them for both since they were the same location, they tried to charge us more for using them for the cocktail hour. Luckily, they agreed to the original quote. That being said, The New Royals made all that totally worth it! They were AMAZING! It was nearly impossible to tear my husband and I away from the dance floor especially since the dance floor was packed the entire night! Every time they took a break everyone was dying for them to start again. We have already had a couple guests ask us for their information so they can book them for their upcoming weddings.

We just had Mo Sol at our wedding in New Orleans and they were such a BLAST! I have already recommended them to some of my friends that are getting married. They even worked with my brother-in-law to sing our first dance song. They were a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them!

Sam Hill was very easy to work with and professional the whole time of booking the band. We booked Crystal Clear Band and they were amazing. They had the whole room dancing and everyone was raving afterward about how good they were. Would recommend both.

I could write a novel on how Mo' Sol is the best band of all time, but I'll keep it short. From the very beginning, Ms. Monique was enthusiastic, helpful and flexible. I saw Mo' Sol at a friend's wedding in December, and Ms. Monique remembered the songs I loved and played them at my wedding. Leading up to my wedding she was accommodating and answered all of my questions promptly. My groom worked with her directly to choose our first dance song which was a surprise to me, and they worked together perfectly. Ms. Monique kept me in the loop the day of as to what time they would be arriving and what their set up would be. Their sets at our wedding reception were phenomenal. They really got the crowd dancing and kept them dancing until the very end of the night. No one wanted them to stop playing, so Ms. Monique had to walk us over to the cake to make sure we cut it so the crowd would be distracted and Mo' Sol could pack up. I cannot recommend Mo' Sol enough, and I hope they play at all of my friends' weddings in the future so I can keep partying with them!

The Sonic Groove was an amazing band for our daughter's wedding in Athens, GA. Everyone danced the entire evening, and they did a great job making announcements and introducing the wedding party. interacted well with the audience!!

Holy smokes! Best money ever spent was for our wedding band Onlive! They had the party going from the moment they started playing. In their contract, they were supposed to have scheduled breaks throughout but nope! They played the entire time and it was amazing. The song choices were on point and lots of variety. We had more compliments on the band then anything else on our wedding. Best part of the night was when they played their last song, the crowd shouted encore and they rocked out The Who! Honestly, you guys made our wedding an over the top experience and I can't say enough thank you's for being rock stars!

Sam Hill represented and did an accurate marketing job for the band that we used. Sam Hill did well on follow-up and was clear with expectations. Mainly, we were happy with their setting our expectations.

Mo'Sol is AMAZING. When I think of my wedding day a huge part of that day that made it so memorable was friends and family on the dance floor. They were so talented and even got my grandparents on the dance floor and my mom on stage! They perform the best variety of music which was great for all age groups. I highly recommend Mo'Sol!

The bands my daughter and her fiance wanted were booked and Beth at Sam Hill helped me find bands in our price range to let them listen to. The Retreats video was great but very mellow "cocktail hour" type music. She promised us that they would keep the crowd on the dance floor and she was correct. They were great.

We had a great experience with The New Royals and Sam Hill. We decided to book a band rather late in the game, after attending several weddings with bands (and after booking a DJ!). I found the A-Town-A-List online and reached out to Sam Hill. Although that band was already booked for our date, Beth at Sam Hill sent us a whole list of bands that were within our budget and available for our date. We selected The New Royals and are so glad that they did -- they were absolutely fantastic, and all our guests are still raving about them. Beth at Sam Hill definitely helped us find exactly what we were looking for and was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire process, from booking to the big day. We would highly recommend both The New Royals and Sam Hill!

Crystal Clear Band!!!!! Words can't describe how perfect they made our wedding. We are huge music lovers and they absolutely hit every possible song we wanted to hear and then some of there additions. I could go on for days about how great of a time we had. We are still on our honeymoon and still enjoying the wonderful buzz they left us with. Several guests have written us to let us know that was the best wedding they have ever been to. Wayne was very professional and made me feel very welcome. He went out of his way to let me know if we needed anything to just ask. I spoke with him before the wedding to follow up and he was very helpful then as well. The day of he couldn't have eased the already stressful day any better by being so polite and accommodating. The only reason I wouldn't recommend the CCB is I wouldn't want anyone else's wedding to be better than ours. LOL. Another great part of the wedding was the rap type music they put on the PA when they took a set-break. It was completely unexpected and gave a great break to the music. It even had my 90 year old grandmother dancing in her chair. We are so thankful we were recommended to work with the CCB for our wedding and will definitely recommend them to our close friends as they get married. Thanks again for making our special day beyond perfect!

We had A-Town A-List for our wedding and they were AMAZING! Everyone at our wedding said it was the best band that they had ever heard and I must agree. They could do everything! The dance floor was packed from literally the second song they played and they worked the crowd like true professionals. I can't say enough great things about this band and company to work through!

Working with Sam Hill (specifically Mike, Annie, and The New Royals) was a fantastic experience. The entire team was a pleasure to work with and very responsive throughout the planning process. We especially appreciated Annie's willingness to accommodate a very last minute song request and the band's offer to take only one break during the night. The New Royals' medleys and performance kept the energy extremely high all night resulting in the entire crowd dancing all night and several of our friends calling their performance the highlight of the overall reception. We feel very fortunate to have had them a part of our big day! They absolutely exceeded our expectations!

Sam Hill Entertainment was one of the best vendor decisions we made for our entire wedding! From the outset, communication was prompt and insightful. We were able to easily navigate their webpage and find a great band for our wedding. The OnLive Band was INCREDIBLE! We loved their performance and have gotten nothing but great feedback about them from our guests since the wedding! Honestly, we have been to more than a dozen weddings with bands in the past year or so and I can, unequivocally, say this was the best we have heard. They were punctual, friendly, and humble guys who fit in quickly with our crowd. Travis and his bandmates were so flexible too, adjusting with timing changes but still managing to keep all of the wedding events right on pace. We were even able to end the night with a special performance where the bride was able to sing the last song side-by-side with Travis-- this was a pretty awesome experience for me and our guests. We definitely recommend Sam Hill and the OnLive Band to anyone considering. Great people, great music, and great experiences.
