Karla curated amazing renditions of a  Like a Prayer processional (with the most talented gospel choir ever), a Love Actually moment at the end of the ceremony, and a complex Family Dance that magically worked (with children, parents, aunts etc). This was a second wedding for us both, and there was so much to capture with the blending of our families - K Street managed to go way, way above what we even thought could be possible.

The District accommodated a special request song extremely last minute and it was the hit of the night!! Frank gave us incredible feedback on song selections and made sure the show ran smooth - and everything went off without a hitch! Can’t say enough great things about our experience!!

We’ve received so many compliments from our guests, with many saying the band was the best part of the entire weekend (and we had a lot of events that weekend!). We had a Christmas wedding and they really embraced the theme, dressing in red sequins and Santa hats, and played all the perfect holiday crowd-pleasers that got everyone dancing and singing along. From start to finish, they were professional, energetic, and fun, creating such a festive and memorable atmosphere for our wedding. We hope to see them again soon at our friends' weddings!!

ding up to our wedding, we had no issues and were quite excited for the band. Our first issue occurred about an hour before the wedding ceremony. I, the groom, was in the middle of our photo session when a member came up to pull me aside to explain they did not have two clip-on lavaliers that we contracted for. With no other options at the 11th hour, we decided on something that would work. While it did work, I explained my disappointment to Sam Hill afterward since this was an add-on that we specifically pursued. The response I got was “both lavaliers were offered to you for use during the ceremony, but only one was accepted/said to be needed and therefore used.” Why would I be approached during my photo session if there was no issue? Of course we accepted only one because that was all that was available. Basically, put it back on me that this occurred. Our second issue came with the band itself. Their performance was nothing like what we had seen in promo videos and images. The band did not bring any lighting as the contract stated. They played in the dark which certainly reduced energy. Again, explained disappointment with Sam Hill and again it came back to me. “It was communicated to the band in advance that their lighting wouldn't be needed.” We spoke to the band one time and lighting was never discussed because, frankly, it was an expectation. I tried to understand who communicated this but got no real response. When I spoke with Sam Hill after to provide feedback and try to understand, we basically got “Oh, that’s unfortunate.” Ultimately, Sam Hill provided (very) partial refund. 3% of contract value. Yes, 3%. Which didn’t even amount to our lavalier add-on. “…the amount reflects what we believe to be a reasonable resolution. We processed the payment right away and it's already on its way.” What does the customer think is reasonable? Overall, while we had a few snafu’s during our wedding, which can be expected, my motivation to write this review is how we were made to feel afterwards. I made every attempt to resolve directly with Sam Hill.

We can't overstate how integral Attraction's performance was to the incredibly joyous and upbeat mood of the reception. We feel that we got great value for the contract price. 12 experienced band members kept all ages (even many non-dancers) moving, grooving and having a great time for the duration of their set. There were no breaks and no filler; the music was seamless and the band was fully in control. We would not only recommend Attraction, but our experience working with Sam Hill Entertainment was seamless and free of complication. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

This was particularly frustrating as our planners had been working closely with the band and venue for weeks, and all logistics had been clearly communicated and agreed upon. The late request felt like a big and unfair oversight that left us backed into a corner so close to our big day. 'Round Midnight: I would give 10 stars for Round Midnight if I could! The band was absolutely phenomenal, not just on the day of the wedding but throughout the planning process. Mike was incredibly responsive, professional, and supportive leading up to the big day. The band kept the energy high and the dance floor packed all night long. We received so many compliments from our guests—many saying it was the best wedding band they had ever seen. While we were disappointed by the last-minute stress caused by the management side, Round Midnight themselves were fantastic and I truly can’t recommend them enough. They made our celebration unforgettable!

We were validated with our decision to pick the band Attraction from the start, especially after hearing some raving reviews from past wedding couples, who Katie was more than happy to put us in touch with. The band leader Dave was super attentive in the weeks leading up to the wedding and seamlessly incorporated our ideas and preferences during the ceremony and reception. Our guests are still talking about how incredible the band was, and we loved that they were all on their feet singing and dancing along the whole night. We had a large age range of guests (11-90!) and appreciated the song list of mostly throwback hits that made us all nostalgic. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company (and band) to anyone who needs to hire entertainment!!

The night ended perfectly with all of our guests, arms around each other, belting out my family’s favorite, “Piano Man” by Billy Joel—a moment I’ll cherish forever. A true highlight was when The Life Atlantic brought my husband and me up on stage for “Don’t Stop Believin’”—and then made my dream come true by letting me crowd surf! It honestly felt magical, our guests couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the music was. I wish we could party with The Life Atlantic every weekend! Thank you for going above and beyond, making our celebration truly unforgettable.

They were very professional and provided guidance and insights for what types of things work well and don’t work so well. In the end, we had a seamless celebration and received nothing but rave compliments from our guests. The tables were empty the entire night and the dance floor was flooded. It was all the father of a bride could ask for when celebrating the hand-off of his precious daughter’s hand in marriage. It would not have been possible without the expertise of Nightsong!
