Sam Hill Entertainment

ur wedding guests stated that this was the best band they have ever heard play at a wedding - they brought energy and a killer playlist. They kept the crowd energy high and were quite engaging. Thank you Sam Hill + Will & the Exclamation!

tion). My brother plays bluegrass fiddle, so he went up with the band and jammed to Wagon Wheel, and my brother and I both sung karaoke. The band was totally cool and welcoming of it. They played All the Small Things, which got the crowd really amped. One of the most affordable bands, and I have really no doubt, one of the best. Their musicianship was incredible. On top of that, extremely friendly and professional. Worked with us on otherwise quirky or detail-heavy requests.

etic and engaging atmosphere that kept guests of all ages on the dance floor all evening. Nightsong's musical talent, professionalism, and ability to read the room were outstanding. Nightsong was also a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process-responsive, organized, and highly receptive to our preferences. Nightsong handled every detail with care , and we received countless compliments from our guests. We highly recommend Nightsong for any wedding or special event

y kept our guests dancing all night at our wedding. We got so many compliments on the band and music!

special shout out to the lead singers and the horn section, who really made the whole thing extra special! We had a number of guests tell us that this was the best band they had ever heard (we agree of course but we’re biased). They also went above and beyond for us, learning new songs and perfecting them to make it the best event ever! We appreciate how communicative and easy to work with they were, couldn’t recommend them more!

er, one of the female singers on stage was distractingly on substances and reeked of weed. Other than that, the atmosphere the band brought to the wedding was great.

as well. They did a great job mixing up lead singers. All 7 members were wonderful. They are definitely worth the money!

eroed in on the band we liked, the booking process was seamless.

gnificant Others blew it out of the park! I'll definitely be recommending Sam Hill to all our friends.

hey presented - 10 Spot - and they were exactly what we wanted and knocked it out of the park. Their lead & lead singer Jacqueline understood exactly what we were looking for and kept our guests out on the dancefloor all night. It can be very intimidating selecting a band for your wedding that you have not heard before - but you can't go wrong with 10 Spot. Highly recommend!

hey created. One of our guests said she felt like she was having a fever dream because there was so much joy in the air! Karla curated amazing renditions of a  Like a Prayer processional (with the most talented gospel choir ever), a Love Actually moment at the end of the ceremony, and a complex Family Dance that magically worked (with children, parents, aunts etc). This was a second wedding for us both, and there was so much to capture with the blending of our families - K Street managed to go way, way above what we even thought could be possible.

have hoped for!! The dance floor was packed the entire night and we had the best party!! Our guests cannot stop raving about how amazing the music was. Exceeded all expectations!!! The District accommodated a special request song extremely last minute and it was the hit of the night!! Frank gave us incredible feedback on song selections and made sure the show ran smooth - and everything went off without a hitch! Can’t say enough great things about our experience!!

how interactive they were—pulling us up on stage, coming down to the dance floor, and making everyone feel part of the experience. They listened to our requests all night and made everything feel so personal. We’ve received so many compliments from our guests, with many saying the band was the best part of the entire weekend (and we had a lot of events that weekend!). We had a Christmas wedding and they really embraced the theme, dressing in red sequins and Santa hats, and played all the perfect holiday crowd-pleasers that got everyone dancing and singing along. From start to finish, they were professional, energetic, and fun, creating such a festive and memorable atmosphere for our wedding. We hope to see them again soon at our friends' weddings!!

o fun with the crowd. I have gotten asked by multiple of our guests who our band was. They were so flexible with my song requests and made sure everything went exactly how we wanted it to. I will 100% use them again and would recommend them to anyone!!

nd our wedding planner to ensure all things music and sound related ran smoothly. NIGHTSONG was amazing - our guests really enjoyed the band as one of the highlights of our wedding day. We would highly recommend them to anyone who wanted top tier musical talent and entertainment at their wedding. The portal is very easy to use with Sam Hill entertainment as was communicating with the vendor and band.

xperience for our guests! The band truly delivered incredible vibes and energy. Their musicianship and song selection were phenomenal, creating an unforgettable, electric atmosphere. They kept the dance floor absolutely packed from the first song to the last, and we received countless compliments. The Significant Others are exceptional professionals who truly delivered a 10-star performance. We are also grateful to the team at Sam Hill for the seamless booking process. If you want a truly outstanding, high-energy live band that guarantees an amazing atmosphere, look no further!

ding up to our wedding, we had no issues and were quite excited for the band. Our first issue occurred about an hour before the wedding ceremony. I, the groom, was in the middle of our photo session when a member came up to pull me aside to explain they did not have two clip-on lavaliers that we contracted for. With no other options at the 11th hour, we decided on something that would work. While it did work, I explained my disappointment to Sam Hill afterward since this was an add-on that we specifically pursued. The response I got was “both lavaliers were offered to you for use during the ceremony, but only one was accepted/said to be needed and therefore used.” Why would I be approached during my photo session if there was no issue? Of course we accepted only one because that was all that was available. Basically, put it back on me that this occurred. Our second issue came with the band itself. Their performance was nothing like what we had seen in promo videos and images. The band did not bring any lighting as the contract stated. They played in the dark which certainly reduced energy. Again, explained disappointment with Sam Hill and again it came back to me. “It was communicated to the band in advance that their lighting wouldn't be needed.” We spoke to the band one time and lighting was never discussed because, frankly, it was an expectation. I tried to understand who communicated this but got no real response. When I spoke with Sam Hill after to provide feedback and try to understand, we basically got “Oh, that’s unfortunate.” Ultimately, Sam Hill provided (very) partial refund. 3% of contract value. Yes, 3%. Which didn’t even amount to our lavalier add-on. “…the amount reflects what we believe to be a reasonable resolution. We processed the payment right away and it's already on its way.” What does the customer think is reasonable? Overall, while we had a few snafu’s during our wedding, which can be expected, my motivation to write this review is how we were made to feel afterwards. I made every attempt to resolve directly with Sam Hill.

g preferences, which made the planning process so smooth. On the wedding day, Noelle went above and beyond—she even helped introduce speakers, ensuring the night flowed seamlessly. When the dancing portion began, the horns kicked things off with an amazing dance line into the dance floor, and from that moment on, the energy never stopped. The dance floor was packed all night! Every single guest raved about the band. Their energy was unmatched—they were fun, lively, engaging with everyone, and incredibly talented. If you want a band that will keep your guests dancing and make your wedding unforgettable, we highly recommend Radio City!

nt profile, we shared the songs we were interested in, and the band reached out ahead of time to review everything together—which we truly appreciated. They even learned a brand-new song for our daughter’s first dance, and it was absolutely perfect. We received so many compliments from our guests about how amazing the band was. Working with Sam Hill was seamless from start to finish, and Will and the Exclamation exceeded every expectation. We couldn’t recommend them more!

ghtfully noted our 'No list' and our 'Must play' list. The band even learned our favorite song for the big day. I would highly recommend NIGHTSONG for anyone planning a wedding that wants the dance floor crowded all night!

clear from start to finish, and they helped us find the perfect band for our wedding. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out and highly recommend them to anyone planning an event!

mixture of bluegrass, classic rock, Grateful Dead and dance party songs that weren't necessarily your typical wedding mixture but had everyone on the dance floor. They are all very good musicians. Many of our guests said this was their favorite wedding band ever.

r was always full of people. I have been lucky enough to see this band now 3 times and they have never once disappointed. Both Sam Hills management and the Band themselves are extremely professional and go above and beyond to take away any and all stress or anxiety attached to having wonderful live music at our event. I could not recommend them higher.

at would appeal to the crowd in their 20s / 30s and their 60s / 70s, and they did just that. We received lots of compliments from guests, including one of my friends that said this is the only wedding band he’s ever seen get an encore, and it was well deserved. I highly recommend booking them for your event!

on, and everything was seamless. We received so many compliments from our guests throughout the night about how amazing the music was, and it was clear from the packed dance floor that everyone was loving it right up until the very end. A special shoutout to Bennett, who was so easy and fun to work with during the planning process. NIGHTSONG also created a personalized arrangement for our special dances and song requests. Their professionalism, talent, and ability to keep the energy perfect for each part of the night truly made our wedding unforgettable. If you’re considering live music for your wedding or event, we would very highly recommend NIGHTSONG and are extremely happy with our decision to book them.

eir special requests via the band's portal. As mother of the bride, I was able to communicate some special last minute requests very easily via email. All responses were prompt and professional. We can't overstate how integral Attraction's performance was to the incredibly joyous and upbeat mood of the reception. We feel that we got great value for the contract price. 12 experienced band members kept all ages (even many non-dancers) moving, grooving and having a great time for the duration of their set. There were no breaks and no filler; the music was seamless and the band was fully in control. We would not only recommend Attraction, but our experience working with Sam Hill Entertainment was seamless and free of complication. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

a great energy to our wedding. They are worth every penny and I could not give a stronger recommendation.

r was packed all night long! Cannot recommend them enough.

a wide array of music selections and were playing new pop music I’ve never heard wedding bands play before. Nightsong was easy to work with and communication was seamless. I really enjoyed working with them, I just wish we could’ve had them playing longer!

my own wedding, they were a no brainer. Nightsong kept the dancefloor packed all night long, have a stellar song selection and even more talented musicians. Bennett in particular was incedible in working with us to align on a timeline in the weeks ahead of the wedding and providing insight in years of experience curating events. All of our guests were throughly impressed with Nightsong and we have been receiving endless compliments about their performance at our wedding. They couldn't have been better!

st dance especially nailed it. Working with the band was professional and seamless in all stages of planning and through the day of. Could not ask for more!

g all of our questions about sound and power to ensure everything ran smoothly. Throughout the planning process, we exchanged many emails and calls, and the team was always quick and helpful in their responses. When it came down to the wedding day, The Significant Others band absolutely exceeded our expectations. They put on an unforgettable performance that our friends and family are still raving about. The dance floor was packed all night with guests of every age. Scott, the band leader, was very professional and proactive in reaching out ahead of time to make sure every detail was covered. If you want a packed dance floor, book The Significant Others—you won’t regret it!

received so many compliments about our choice in band from guests, and the dance floor was packed the entire night. Couldn’t recommend this team more!

eption so fun. Bennett took the time to call us about songs we really wanted to hear and curated the setlist to play our favorite hits and others that kept the energy in the room high all night long. Nightsong is so talented, and we highly recommend them for weddings or other special events!! Thank you again Nightsong!

ith the band and Sam Hill to plan the event was seamless, we could not recommend hiring Free Spirit enough!

ely delivered! Their team was easy to communicate with throughout the planning process – shoutout to Frank for being thorough, detailed, and addressing our many follow-up questions after our call. Having their song repertoire available online made it easy to pick music. The band even learned a specific version of our song for our first dance, and ensured the cut of the song was exactly like what we had been practicing to. Our guests have been RAVING about The District – they had the dance floor packed our entire reception. They struck the perfect balance between playing songs we had chosen and reading the vibe of the room, and we loved that they played a lot of fun mashups. The band members were high-energy and great at interacting with guests. They even indulged us with an encore when the crowd kept chanting “one more song!” at the end of the reception. The District was truly a highlight of our wedding, and we would recommend them to anyone looking for a fun band to keep your guests dancing all night!

ed match us with band options that fit our parameters around budgets, vibe, etc. Mega Fly was such a fun time - we didn't want a lot of the traditional wedding songs like Shout and preferred songs that were present day or would be hits for our millennial guests. Mega Fly was PERFECT for this and had our guests on the dance floor all night!

at our wedding on 8/9/2025. We received so many compliments from our guests. They played a great mix of older and newer songs that kept guests dancing the entire night! The pianist and saxophone player were perfect additions as well. We would recommend NIGHTSONG to everyone!

perfect tone with the classiest, most elegant dinner music that made the atmosphere feel so special. Then, when it was time to dance, they completely transformed the energy and kept the dance floor packed all night long! Every song was a hit, their vocals and musicianship were top-notch, and they knew exactly how to read the room and keep the momentum going. So many of our guests told us it was the best wedding band they’d ever heard. Truly unforgettable — they made the night magical!

experience. 48 hours before our wedding, I received an unexpected email introducing additional charges (due to logistical changes from a DC parade)—expenses that were never mentioned in the weeks of planning prior. This was particularly frustrating as our planners had been working closely with the band and venue for weeks, and all logistics had been clearly communicated and agreed upon. The late request felt like a big and unfair oversight that left us backed into a corner so close to our big day. 'Round Midnight: I would give 10 stars for Round Midnight if I could! The band was absolutely phenomenal, not just on the day of the wedding but throughout the planning process. Mike was incredibly responsive, professional, and supportive leading up to the big day. The band kept the energy high and the dance floor packed all night long. We received so many compliments from our guests—many saying it was the best wedding band they had ever seen. While we were disappointed by the last-minute stress caused by the management side, Round Midnight themselves were fantastic and I truly can’t recommend them enough. They made our celebration unforgettable!
