Sam Michael's Menswear Tailor & Tuxedos

Sam Michaels was reccommended for us to look into tuxedo rentals for our wedding. My mom and I went first to check it out and had a great experience. We selected colors we liked for the groomsmen and groom. I brought my husband back a few weeks later for him to check out everything. He loved the color choices and feel and got fitted at that appointment. The groomsmen then all went to their appointments and handled their business. some of them said they felt rushed or did not get as positive of a feeling as I got. Even my husband said when he went to pick up his tux he felt rushed and like he was not important. Also, prior to the wedding and during the rental returns, there was paperwork confusion. Everything was resolved but it was a little bit of unnecessary stress at a very stressful time. Overall I had a good experience and am not sure if it had to do with timing or something else for the few others. The tuxedos looked amazing in pictures and the color scheme was exactly what I had envisioned.

This store is 1000x better than any chain store such as Men’s Wearhouse. The owners and employees went above and beyond to make sure everyone had everything they needed on time. We had suits to order for 16 men and every single suit was perfect. The price to buy suits was more than reasonable. There were no errors in any of the orders. The guys looked absolutely incredible. My husband will even continue to buy suits here in the future!

They went out of their way to make my fiancé’s tux buying experience so simple. We loved going into the store because of the amazing attention to detail they showed. They really are passionate about their business. Our groomsmen were able to rent their tuxes quickly and easily. We can’t recommend Sam Michaels more!

I know this place as Sam Michaels, but we found these amazing unique tuxes for our wedding here. Our theme was vintage romantic and we decided to do more plain suits. These were classy and all of the guys in the bridal party looked great in them (and they are all different sized guys). My husband looked extremely handsome and I was able to get the shoes from the catalog that weren't available for some time. I'm a shoe gal, and those guys had sharp shoes.

We had originally registered at the The Tux Shop in Birmingham just because it was a great location for my bridal party.But all of our friends raved about Michael at SamMichaels, so we stopped by one day, and we are soo happy we did. Seriously, the Best service, Michael was such a pleasure to work with, he really goes above and beyond to please his customers. Great prices, top notch tailors, he gained a customer for life. I ended up cancelling with the tux shop and bought suits for the groom and groomsmen. I am so excited to see how to final products turn out.

When picking out a place to rent out your tuxedos for your wedding you need to think of what your top priorities are- quality, service, price, selection,expertise. SamMichaels has the best customer service, even better quality merchandise and their knowledge of mens clothing is based from 30 years of experience. Michael the owner is a professional tailor, he explained the different fabrics, fit and quality of the of the garment. We wanted to buy suits as opposed to renting tuxedos, but when we started looking at tuxedos,they were very helpful. We found suits we loved for an amazing price. The huge benefit in buying anything from Mike is that the alterations are already included in the price. He doesn't go back and forth with price, he just gives you his best pricing right off the bat and personally I was very happy with that. We have about 15 suits ordered , he gave us a discount for having such a large party. We have guys from all over the country sending over their measurements. He custom ordered ties to match the bridesmaids dresses which matched perfectly.He really took care of us, if your looking for suits, tuxedos, or even just dress pants and a shirt go check out Sam Michaels, they will accommodate you in anything that you need. So excited to see the end result, I'm sure they groomsmen and groom will get nothing but complements.

You walk in and your right away considered family. They really care about you and your day, if something doesn't look right they are completely honest with you and take care of everything. They were fully involved in picking out the right tuxedo to fit my husbands body type and same for each of the groomsmen, when it came to the pick up date all my groomsmen were so happy with the service and the tuxedos looked amazing, they didn't even look like a rental. We got the Ike Behar tuxedo and it fit everyone like a glove. My husband is now a customer for life, he gets all of his suits from Mike and all of his tailoring done there too. They are experts at custom tailoring, I highly recommend them to any guy for tuxedos, suits, or any type of mens clothing.

We were very happy with Sam Michael's tuxes. It is a small, family owned buisness and when you walk in the door you are not just another number. They were half the cost of Mens Warehouse and the other big stores, and we were able to sit down one on one and find the perfect tuxes for our wedding. Very helpful, affordable, and quailty :o)
