g. I first contacted Sam what felt like eons ago, and she did a great job of keeping in contact me, even as 2020 fell upon us. She reassured me that she would still be there for our wedding, emailing back against all my paranoid fears and anxiety induced dread. She was nothing short of a pure beam of light the entire time, from first consultation to the last edited photo. Since we're not from the area, Sam was gracious enough to offer to do photos with us the night before our wedding, even though it involved driving to the highest mountain in Acadia even though we were all PETRIFIED of heights. While Cadillac Mt was overflowing with people, you could not see a SINGLE ONE from the photos she took, and the same applied to the photos we took in Acadia on our wedding day. Despite the stresses that the day brought, the changing of plans and the keeping of schedules, Sam remained nothing short of positive the entire time. Oh, and did I mention that her photos are STUNNING as well? Turns out, when you're a beam of light, you have a talent for finding and manipulating light as well, which is exactly what Sam did. I cannot help but keep going through our wedding galleries over and over again, because I'm obsessed with them all and her attention to detail and contrast. And going through the galleries takes quite some time, as she doesn't have a limit on how many photos she takes or how many she gives you. She goes through the time to edit each and every single photo she takes that day. If I sound like I'm gushing, it's because I am. We couldn't imagine our wedding day without her. All of my guests that came in contact with her said she was the most organized, professional, and sweet photographer they had ever worked with. This year has been absolutely insane, and to have someone telling you that everything will be all right, to take photos and tell you you're beautiful and make you feel beautiful? I don't think any bride can ask for anything better. Make your wedding day less stressful. Make your wedding photos something that you look back at and smile every single time. She was absolutely amazing, and I'm going to honestly miss working with her.

in terms of my wedding, which has been incredibly stressful due to the fact that my wedding was postponed due to COVID. Before I get into the weddings, let me start off with our engagement session. It was super rainy at Acadia National Park and I, of course, was very upset. I called Samantha and she reassured me that everything was going to be okay, and that she will make it work. This is EXACTLY the type of attitude that I'd want on my wedding day. When we met Samantha she was incredibly kind and extremely easy to work with. We had a blast. And yes, the pictures were GOREGOUS! It was also a very crowded day at Acadia, but it wasn't an issue-- Samantha has an incredible talent for making it seem like there are no crowds. Fast forward to this year. We had to postpone our wedding twice (June 2020 to August 2020, and then from August 2020 to June 2021). Samantha was incredibly easy to work with through the changes and extremely comforting, which I appreciated. In September, my fiancé and I decided on a whim that we'd like to elope in Portland. A WEEK before the elopement, we asked Samantha to come take pictures. She instantly agreed, and was there with us on our special day. She took some gorgeous shots with us during the City Hall ceremony, and afterwards around the city. It was so much fun! It's hard to take photos, but when you have Samantha with you-- it feels like its your BFF behind the lens! Not to mention her turnaround time is INCREDIBLE. We got our photos within two weeks! Next year, we hope to do our full wedding in Bar Harbor as we planned, and I have no doubt Samantha will continue to go above and beyond. We are so grateful for her and her extraordinary talents, and are so happy with our decision to work with her. Please, do yourself a favor and book Samantha, you will not regret it! Samantha, if you're reading this: thank you, we love you!

d for everyone. Our wedding venue changed right before our wedding date and she was very understanding and had no problem coming to the new venue and working with our brand new plan. She was very friendly with all of my family and guests and everyone enjoyed her company! Our photos came out absolutely beautifully! Our wedding was on a bright, sunny day, which can be harsh in photos but Samantha did a wonderful job working with it. Everyone that has seen our gallery as commented on how lovely the photos are. The photos have brought tears to many eyes! We have plenty of portrait photos, along with many candid photos, and photos of every detail of our day. But she also can blend in the background, such as making your First Look feel like you two are the only ones there. My husband and I were so lucky to have Sammie be the one to capture our moments on our special day. If it rains on your wedding day like it did on ours, Sammie always has emergency bubble umbrellas on hand! (They actually made our photos so much more fun!) We booked Sammie and a second photographer (who happens to be her extremely sweet and bubbly daughter Kelsie), which I highly recommend! Our engagement photos ended up happening on a cold, dreary, overcast day in the park, while our wedding was a sunny fall afternoon in a private garden. In both sets of conditions, Samantha's talent and command of the lighting came through to provide amazing shots. Beyond just her artistic talent though, she was really just great at making us feel comfortable in front of the camera, despite everyone starting out a bit apprehensive about having our pictures taken. I couldn't imagine having a better time in front of a camera lense. She was also very easy to communicate with during the build up to the big day, and very accommodating to make sure she got all the shots we were expecting. As for value, I know people who have paid three times as much for a wedding photographer and didn't end up with nearly as great an experience. Bottom line: I would recommend Samantha Clemmer Photography to anyone in the area, regardless of their budget, because I can't imagine them finding somebody better.

Our bridal party kept telling us they didn't feel like we spent enough time on photos; what they didn't realize was Samantha made it feel effortless to get every photo we asked for and then some. Her professionalism with our wedding coordinator (who not such a gem) was outstanding and kept us calm in some stressful situations. Samantha's presence absolutely made our day better, she was so kind and fun to work with and totally embraced all our ideas and ran with them. She was amazing with incorporating our props and dog into photos while still focusing on us as a couple. She is extremely timely with her delivery of photos, we got them in less then a week. the country before then. She came to my requested place (Bethlehem Steel stacks) and got some great and important shots and made the photo shoot fun. She didn't complain about my last minute notification of where I was getting ready for the wedding. We also had to change from an outdoor ceremony to indoor because of rain and she just rolled with it and still got some outdoor pictures of us in between the rain. Communication was excellent and she responded usually within minutes of my messages. Her photo package was very affordable and included the engagement session. She was so nice and friendly and eased this photo-shy bride into some great pictures! I felt comfortable with her and we got along well. During the ceremony and reception she managed to get great pictures while staying out of the way. She even stayed the entire reception even though she did not have to. She also asked us at the end of the reception if there were any photos we wanted that she may have missed. She even took some fun ones of us after everyone was gone. I am so happy with her photos and the whole experience. I highly recommend Samantha!

Some of the best photos she captured were small moments in between posed shots and I love being able to see us genuinely enjoying our day. Balancing wants with needs I was nervous about our budget, but Samantha helped us tremendously. Everything worked out so well, AND we got our photos back in roughly a week which was so crazy fast that we were barely ready to look at them. If you live in the Lehigh Valley (or you're getting married there) there is really no one better to pick!
