Samantha Couick Photography is a wedding photographer based out of Indian Trail, NC. Owner Samantha specializes in intimate wedding and couples photography, traveling all over NC, SC, and surrounding regions. As you begin to plan your wedding day, Samantha knows that you probably feel overwhelmed, which is the last thing she wants. As your photographer, it is her goal to help make your day, and the days leading up to it, as stress-free as possible. She will be there to bustle your dress, make sure you are hydrated, give you some encouraging words, and do anything else you may need; all while documenting your wedding day in a way that tells your story. When you book with Samantha Couick Photography, the process will begin with a scheduled meeting. Here, you will have a chance to express your desires for your wedding images. Samantha can help you choose the package that will best suit your needs. Her most extensive offering is the 10-hour Documentation package, which includes everything you might require. After the wedding day, Samantha will return your gallery to you within four to six weeks so you can relive the day all over again!

t! Sam sent the previews the very next day and I was already in love with those, so being blown away by the full album was no surprise. She is so down to earth and easy to work with! We all had a great time in the bridal suite for the getting ready photos and enjoyed taking the formals as well. Once the ceremony started, Sam got a lot of amazing candids rather than stopping everything to ask people to pose. Throughout the whole planning process, Sam was so communicative and helpful! You get a questionnaire which is super helpful in knowing exactly what to expect and helping your figure out exactly what kind of photos you would like taken. Do yourself a favor. End your search here, and go with Sam!

n attentive, consistent, and calming. Wedding planning is a huge stress, but with Samantha everything felt easy, while still going beyond my dreams of what everything would be like. Samantha offered help and advice when wedding planning and developing our timeline. This not only helped keep me on track, but reminded me of details that I had forgotten. Any idea I had, she would find a way to make it work. Anything I didn't want to happen, she didn't add any pressure at all, and made that work too. I wanted a photographer that would become a friend and blend right in with everyone celebrating with us, and that is exactly what she did. There were so many moments when my husband and I wanted a calm moment to ourselves on our wedding day and she made sure that happened! Samantha just being there calmed me down and assured us that everyone else could wait, all that mattered was our marriage. The most beautiful candid moments were captured with her documentary style photography, and she took such care to get pictures of the most important people in our lives. When we got our gallery back, one of the most common things we said was, "Did you know she was taking pictures right then?" There were moments when we thought no one was paying attention or that no one had noticed the small detail that we loved, but Samantha noticed and got a picture of it, every time. I could not recommend Samantha enough- her style, presence, and character all helped our personality to shine through on our wedding day.

like Samantha truly cared about us and her laidback, genuine personality made our engagement session so much fun - as someone whose last professional photo shoot was my high school senior photos, I was a little nervous about feeling pressure to get "perfect" photos in a staged environment, but Samantha just let us essentially spend a nice day together and produced the most gorgeous photos I've ever seen. Even the poses she did suggest for us felt natural and when we got the finals back, I felt like we were professional models. This all made me completely confident that she would beautifully capture our wedding day, and sure enough, she brought a feeling of warmth and calm that shines through in our photos. We feel such a strong sense of trust and caring with her that at one point when she was taking detail photos, I just handed her my engagement ring and asked her to clean it however she thought was best (because I had of course forgotten), knowing she would absolutely be prepared with whatever she needed to do so and wouldn't let anything happen to it. She handed it back to me SPARKLING, I'm still not sure how she did it. If you want not only beautiful photos that you will treasure for a lifetime, but also a photographer that will go above and beyond to make sure you are completely comfortable and cared for throughout the planning process and on your day, you need to book Samantha!

She also set up a meeting with me to talk about our schedule for the day which was very helpful. The photos were beautiful, and she got them back to me within two weeks of the wedding! wedding are incredible. She made our day even more special by taking the photos she did. Not only has she photographed my wedding, but she always did mommy and son photos of my son and I. He was cranking and she was so patient with him. His safe toy is a ball and would not let go of it, only object to keep him calm and she incorporated it into the photos. I have known Samantha for 24 years, and she is one of the kindest people I know. She is loyal and hardworking. You will love the photographs that she takes for your family. She will make your photo sessions fun, and will make you laugh. If you’re nervous like I was taking photos, that’s okay because she will calm your nerves. Samantha is a wonderful photographer, and you will not be disappointed in the work she does for you!
