I hired Samantha on thumbtack.com, without knowing much about her work or style. From the beginning, Samantha was responsive and upfront regarding costs and expectations. She set up a trial run for my makeup, took photos of my look, asked for feedback, and did not settle until I was 100% happy. I'm a bit particular about my makeup, and I felt comfortable with letting Samantha know what I liked and what I wanted to change. She never made me feel like I was too picky or asking too much. If anything, she saw the feedback as a way to make me feel even prettier. She did 8 peoples' makeup on the wedding day, with no issues in timing. Every person loved their look and felt like she made them the best version of themselves.
