Where do I even begin. Samantha did the most amazing job on my wedding day. She made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera which is not normally the case for me. Samantha is amazing! She is incredibly communicative and organized and took the most beautiful photos on our wedding day. On top of that, she and her assistant made it super fun. Samantha's photography is absolutely stunning and she is a joy to work with! We are so grateful our wedding planner directed us to her. We were instantly drawn to her light but colorful photography style, and our initial phone call really sealed the deal when we realized how sweet, friendly, and supportive Samantha was. Samantha and her partner did an incredible job with our wedding photos. Not only was she great to work with leading up to the wedding day but she was an absolute blast to have around day of. She made us feel so comfortable while getting photographed, she was efficient in getting all of our shots in a timely manner so that we could spend time with our guests and the end result turned out absolutely beautiful. I hired Samantha for my October wedding and working with her was an absolute dream. Note for new brides- make sure you pick vendors who you vibe with because besides your new husband or wife, your vendors are who you will spend the most time with. Samantha was AMAZING. So kind throughout the day, directed us into the perfect poses and just encouraged us and our love really came through in the photos. They are works of art and I can't stop starring at them. Samantha and her second shooter did such an amazing job- don't walk, RUN to hire her!!

Samantha is wonderful and such a joy to work with. She brings such positive and calm energy to the planning process and really made us feel supported throughout the entire wedding planning process. Samantha is one of the kindest, flexible, organized and professional vendors I have had the pleasure of working with. She was extremely flexible and understanding when we were late to our engagement shoot and even stayed later so that we could try and get photos when the Christmas lights in Rittenhouse turned on, even when they never did, she made the most of our time. Our wedding day was a breeze with her and Jess by our sides. She had a direct vision and plan for us and we even had extra time to just wander and catch some unexpected photo opportunities before the ceremony. Samantha was by far the best photographer I could have ever hoped for on our wedding day(s). I say days because she photographed our mini-mony in September in 2020 and our big celebration in 2021! I found Samantha Jay photography on Instagram a couple of years ago and when I got engaged last October she was one of the first vendors I booked! I think pictures are one of the most important parts of the wedding and it is something that you can’t skimp on! Samantha has been incredible to work with from start to finish! She is awesome!!!! Hiring Samantha Jay was the best decision we made in planning our wedding! She was a complete delight, incredibly easy to work with, cheerful, positive, and supportive throughout the process. I don't even know where to begin! Samantha and her team were absolutely incredible. We initially booked Samantha after a personal reference for our planned wedding in Cape May, NJ. However, as we all know 2020 did not go as planned. When we had to move our wedding to our home on on Long Island, Samantha didn't even hesitate to agree to the change. Starting from our initial conversations with her to scheduling and re-scheduling our engagement shoot, Samantha was supportive, informative, personal, and really made us feel like we were in the best hands. Our wedding day went so smooth and Samantha and Jess found all of the best spots for our photos - they event helped surprise me with my dogs! We are beyond grateful for their talent and support throughout this process and know that we will be using Samantha for any and all future photography needs.

We loved working with Samantha from start to finish. After reading a few reviews, we met with Samantha and immediately felt comfortable. She answered all of our questions about the wedding photography process and was sweet and fun throughout the conversation. This level of communication continued over email and phone as we worked with her for 18 months to organize the engagement session and ultimately the wedding. We really enjoyed our engagement session, and she provided really helpful instructions and tips on how it would all work. She timed it perfectly with the end of day light and we really enjoyed the experience. COVID hit a few months before our wedding was scheduled in June 2020 and Samantha openly communicated with us and was very flexible and transparent throughout. She was willing to move the date to a future date. Ultimately, we decided to have smaller 13 person wedding in Westchester County, NY instead of Media, PA. Samantha was very kind and flexible with these changes, and willing to travel. On the day, I ended up having to do a lot of the coordination and work since it was a smaller event and Samantha arrived early and was started the details while I finished getting ready. During our portrait session, she made sure we got a ton of great shots, even making sure we went to a second location that I had previously mentioned. I'm so glad we did that because some of our best pictures are at that location! She has a wonderful calm and sweet energy that made us feel very comfortable despite the fact that neither one of us are super comfortable in front of the camera. During the family portraits, she was really good at sticking to the plan we had established, which is helpful when you've got different family dynamics to consider! All of our guests also really enjoyed Samantha's presence, and she made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. She did a great job with the background shots during dinner and speeches, and wonderfully captured our laughing and crying moments. She stayed longer than originally anticipated and before she left, she asked if there were any other pictures that we wanted and she made sure to take a couple more portrait shots of the two of us. Samantha knows what is important on a wedding day and makes sure you get great shots and feel comfortable and relaxed. I really love the end result photos, both of our engagement and wedding sessions, as to our guests. I would highly recommend Samantha to anyone who is considering her as a wedding photographer.

Trust me when we say, Samantha was the absolute perfect photographer for our wedding. She took into consideration EVERY detail before AND during our wedding.... and worked her butt off to capture every moment! It can be very overwhelming trying to find the perfect wedding photographer. It is such an important day and you want the photos to be absolutely perfect. And lucky for you, I can save you many years of searching with this review. So one day, I was absolutely blown away by the wedding album one of my facebook friends posted. I had never seen such beautiful and perfect pictures. The pictures were so effortless, airy and light, happy, elegant, and radiant. Right then I knew that one day I was going to use Samantha for my own wedding pictures. Samantha is so sweet and very easy to work with. She facetimed with me before I officially booked her so we could get to know each other and make sure we were on the same page when it came to wedding photos. We then had an engagement photo session where she made us look absolutely amazing. My husband and I are definitely camera shy but Samantha walked us through the entire photo shoot and made us feel very comfortable in doing poses we had never done before. The pictures turned out so beautiful and she made us look extremely natural and candid. I love sharing these pictures and get so many compliments whenever I do. We recently got married about 2 weeks ago and Samantha already gave us a sneak peak of about 200 edited photos from the wedding within 10 days. The photos are absolutely beautiful and I have been obsessed with them and cannot wait to see the rest. She really captured our emotions on camera and I love how happy we look in all of the photos. Samantha shares her photos digitally which makes it super easy to download the pictures and share them. I love sharing pictures and having easy access to uploading them or sending them to family/friends so I absolutely love this aspect about her photography.

Photography was my top priority when I started planning our wedding a year ago and as soon as I saw Samantha Jay Photography's work, I knew I had to have her. From our first kick-off call to discuss the big day, Samantha has a way to make you feel like you're friends talking about your hopes for your special day. I don"t even know where to start, because words cannot describe how absolutely wonderful Samantha is and how beautiful our wedding photos came out! From the very beginning, Samantha and I met to discuss my vision and she was very open to all my ideas and had so much advice to give based on her experience. She was very reachable throughout the entire planning process and was very professional in planning how our wedding day would go schedule wise. When our wedding day came around Samantha and her husband Patrick arrived early to begin setting up for the shoot and were just the sweetest people the entire day! Samantha was a calming force for me when things went off schedule, and when it started raining, but everything ended up turning out perfect! Our photos are ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!! I can't choose my favorite because they are all some of the most beautiful photos I have ever seen. Samantha is so talented!! My husband and I were not sure about doing engagement photos in the beginning but Samantha explained that it really helps you to get comfortable in front of the camera for the wedding. My husband and I are absolutely in love with our anniversary photos! Samantha has such a calming energy and soothing presence about her - she instantly makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera. She says her goal is to create heirloom imagery that will be passed down through generations, and she absolutely delivers. The images we have from this short session captured our emotions and love for one another in a way no other photographer has. After seeing our gallery, my brother-in-law ended up hiring Samantha for his wedding this past October, and she wowed us all again. Nothing short of perfect! Samantha was amazing from start to finish. We met with her one time and were immediately comfortable and knew she would be the perfect person to be our wedding photographer. We did an engagement shoot, which we weren’t sure about, but she advised that it would make us more comfortable on the wedding day and she was 100% right about that! She was so easy going about us including our dog and shooting in a couple locations. Our engagement photos were fantastic and we knew then our wedding photos would be too but we never could have predicted how great! She captured every important moment, the emotion and love in the day is felt through her photos. Samantha and her husband did a beautiful job capturing our wedding day! I knew the photos would turn out well and was right, they did! You are in great hands with this photographer! My only suggestion for improvement would be that overall I wish we did a little less posing in the shots before the ceremony and a little more of candids. One of the poses where my husband was standing behind me was a bit awkward because he is shorter than me, for example. However, if we had had the budget and time to do an engagement shoot, I think we would have ironed this out before the wedding day so that is on us! Anyway, we would totally recommend this vendor and you will love your photos and Samantha's easy-going yet professional personality!

Samantha made us feel so comfortable throughout the process and clearly has experience. She helped us with day of coordination since this wasn't her first rodeo (by far) and even was there to answer questions about the bustle for my dress when I was in a panic! We received the pictures quickly and they turned out amazing. I can't say enough about Samantha and her company!

Samantha is a dream photographer. We had Samantha fly out for our Northern California wedding in Sonoma -- and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Samantha is able to make you feel comfortable, keep you on schedule, and take beautiful photos all at once. We You spend so much time with your photographer on your wedding day. Samantha's positive and reassuring presence is the kind of person you want at your side. We also appreciate her careful prep and communication -- especially given the distance travelled. When I started looking for wedding photographers, I followed a bunch on Instagram and immediately fell in love with Samantha's photography style. She's the only photographer I reached out to and I knew right away she was the perfect choice. Our engagement and wedding photos couldn't have been more beautiful. Neither I nor my husband enjoy getting our picture taken - it makes us feel incredibly awkward. But at both the engagement session and the wedding, she made us feel comfortable and look natural in our photos, which was amazing! Samantha Jay Photography was one of the best vendor choices we made for our wedding! From the moment my husband and I met with Sam, she had a warm and welcoming personality. We are not used to being in front of the camera, but Sam made us feel at ease and captured such natural moments throughout the day. During the planning process, Sam was attentive and timely with all communication. She was also open to my ideas for location and such. Not only is Sam an incredible photographer, but she also helped the wedding day stay on pace. We did not have a wedding planner, so Sam kept track of time and kept the day moving so we did not have to worry about it. Once the reception started, she melted into the background and got shots of the party. The pictures we have gotten so far came out better than I could have imagined and I can’t stop looking at them! Nellie, her partner, worked with the groomsmen in the morning and in tandem with Sam during the wedding party photos. Nellie was also extremely professional, talented, and did a great job capturing the guys getting ready. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer who will beautifully capture those raw, subtle and candid moments at your wedding, no need to look any further. It was such a pleasure working with Samantha on our wedding day. She already came highly recommended and her reviews & portfolio speak for themselves. I wanted to find a photographer to produce photos that were airy and romantic, but not too bright as I wanted to capture some sense of fall vibes and she has delivered just that. Samantha is incredibly professional and responsive. She went over an hour by hour game plan with us and I really felt like that helped to make sure we got photos and maximize our time with our guests. She arrived earlier than we had asked (I’m sure to get the lay of the land) and was ready to hit the ground running as I arrived to our venue, the Knowlton Mansion. Despite having a triple header weekend, she demonstrated no inkling of tiredness. She made us feel relaxed and kept us smiling throughout the entire time (ask her to tell you her staple joke ;). It was raining for some portion of the day, but as soon as it stopped she scoped out some areas that we could take advantage of outside and those pictures really came out amazing. Even when it started to drizzle a little, she was willing to venture out and stand in the rain to get some incredible shots. As far as turn around goes, we received preview photos within 48 hours of our wedding photos and I am absolutely IN LOVE with them. My husband and I could not be happier with Samantha Jay’s Photography! I had come across Samantha Jay Photography because I was looking for a photographer whose pictures were very light and bright and could capture the raw emotion of my wedding day. Just judging from our previews so far (which we received at the airport heading to our honeymoon just 3 days after the wedding because she told us she wanted us to see them before we left!) she was exactly the right choice! Leading up to the wedding Samantha was so responsive to all of our emails and calls and made us feel very confident in our decision to book her. The day of, she and her 2nd photographer made my husband and I feel very comfortable. They were both so kind and genuinely excited for us on our big day. They faded into the background enough that I didn’t feel like the paparazzi was following us but were also always there when I turned around to get pictures with my family and friends and for each of the scheduled traditions like cake cutting etc. They assisted my husband and me to come up with the perfect timeline as we were clueless how much time to allot for pictures or the best flow of the day and helped us stay on time. Our previous so far have blown us away! They are everything I could have wanted and more and I would highly highly suggest booking Samantha Jay Photography to anyone!!

Samantha was hands down our best wedding pick. She made us feel so relaxed and had fun with us while still getting amazing shots. Our photos came out better than we could’ve dreamed!! She was prompt and professional while still being warm and friendly. She had some photos to us the day after our wedding which was so special to be able to see them so soon! She delivered the remaining photos very promptly as well.
