the event ~ I had never had professional make-up done previous to the event and was not sure of the style or type of make-up that would be best for me. I scheduled a trial session ~ which I highly recommend~ Samantha walked me through my options based on my goals and vision ~ she was wonderful about answering all of my questions and encouraged me to voice any changes I may want. I could not have been more thrilled with the results on the day of the wedding! My hair and make-up turned out beyond perfect! I was thrilled with the results of her work ~ she also did the bride's hair and make-up as well as the mother of the groom. All of us were so happy with the results and received more compliments than we could count. Samantha is a top notch professional ~ clearly an expert in her field ~ she is kind and encouraging and had a wonderful demeanor on the day of the wedding bringing a sense of calm to the busy schedule. as I think there is such a fine line between looking natural yet beautifully glamorous on your wedding day. Anyways, Samantha was able to perfect that look. She did an amazing job at keeping in natural but giving my elegance and shine both for my hair and make up. My bridesmaids and family members LOVED their hair and make up as well- and they are picky customers. Would work with her again in a heart beat!! She was very very receptive and amendable to our specific needs, utilizing some of my own make up, and making minute changes that felt right for me.

She is a true artist who will listen to what you need/want and bring it to life. She is also THE sweetest! you can tell she wants each of her clients to feel beautiful, and trust me she does! You can show her a picture of a look you want and she can recreate it - hair or makeup it doesn't matter. But on top of that she is honest and a clear communicator. She will tell you if you have enough hair to get a look you are going for (without needing extensions). And when I showed her a look for makeup, she was very clear to explain what she was seeing so we were on the same page. This is huge, because what one person may think is dramatic, another person may thing is subtle. I had so much fun just getting to know her during my trail run! I left feeling so excited for my big day, and started following her on Instagram so I could see all the gorgeous looks she was creating. On the big day she showed up bright and early and ready to go, and had so much fun singing and laughing with me and my girls. We had a schedule to follow, and inevitably things happen, but when one girl was a little late, Samantha was super flexible. Not only did we stay on time, she had us all ready ahead of schedule! Everyone absolutely LOVED they way they looked, and everyone's hair and makeup stayed put all night! Several girls even slept in theirs and looked good the next morning, I couldn't believe it. I wish I could do it all over again - I guess I'll have to find another excuse for her to do my hair and makeup!
