My Why: Connection. To me, the purpose and joy in life is connection. Connecting to one another, to ourselves, our environment. Being able to photograph humbling connections, creating connections and art at the same time is truly incredible for me. The ability to experience that, capturing that and to bring you back to those moments of warmth is my why.

Let's face it im not sure anyone is really comfortable being photographed with their love in these settings but from our engagement shoot to wedding day she gave just enough prompts and direction to make us feel comfortable and like we had some idea of what to do without looking posed. We couldn't be happier with out photos! I have to add too that since we got married this year we did have to make some changes to our venue and details and she was a trooper through it all.

We searched and searched for a style like hers and could not find it. My wife and I asked Sam if she would do us the honor of capturing our wedding day in Charleston, SC. With zero hesitation, she accepted!
We couldn't be more pleased with Sam and Dave's work. They were so organized and never made us feel rushed even when our timeline ran a little (or a lot) behind. Everything was perfect. They captured moments that because of the chaos of the day we didn't even remember happening.
