About this vendor
My Why: Connection. To me, the purpose and joy in life is connection. Connecting to one another, to ourselves, our environment. Being able to photograph humbling connections, creating connections and art at the same time is truly incredible for me. The ability to experience that, capturing that and to bring you back to those moments of warmth is my why.
Our dream is to capture your special moments as naturally and beautifully as we can to emphasize the true essence of you and your partner. I’ll make you wiggle (literally) out the awkward feelings, and help you embrace the moments that fly by.
How to describe my photography: natural, candid, fun, and modern.
What we bring to the table: A laid back approach to destress your day, fun genuine connection, and some sanity to a crazy day.

Look no further Samantha is the one! I met Samantha when she photographed my cousins wedding and I knew I had to book her for mine. She's super professional, informative, and respo...
nsive. Let's face it im not sure anyone is really comfortable being photographed with their love in these settings but from our engagement shoot to wedding day she gave just enough prompts and direction to make us feel comfortable and like we had some idea of what to do without looking posed. We couldn't be happier with out photos! I have to add too that since we got married this year we did have to make some changes to our venue and details and she was a trooper through it all.
I cannot recommend Sam enough! We had such an amazing experience working with both Sam and Amanda on our big day! Not only is her work absolutely STUNNING, but her professionalism ...
and genuine care for her clients is unmatchable! She checked in with us throughout the day to see how we were feeling and eased any stress we were feeling. I even did a boudoir session with her as a gift to my husband and she ensured I was comfortable and having fun the entire time. It truly was a pleasure to work with Sam and I hope to use her for all of my future photography needs!

h is great when it comes to dealing with an already stressful situation! Communicating was a breeze and there was never an issue getting in touch. And the pictures were everything we could have wanted, and some! I’m am more than satisfied with our choice to go with Samantha Marie Photography and absolutely will be recommending this lovely duo to others in the future.

y was raving about our awesome photographers! She also responded quickly to my emails which I appreciated. I had so many questions, and she was super helpful! Taking so many pictures can be awkward, but she made us feel comfortable. I am so thankful that I happened to come across her website. Affordable, professional, extremely talented and an awesome personality. Highly recommend! Loved working with her!
Sam and Dave went above and beyond for our September 2019 wedding. They traveled across the country, to the middle of the mountains of Washington state to be part of our big day....
The photos they captured were absolutely amazing! Their skills to capture the best lightening and the perfect moments are unmatched. Her editing skills are top notch and send the already amazing photos over the edge. I couldn't be happier with the results and am so grateful that they made the journey to come and capture our big day. I would recommend them for any and all events or photos that anyone wants. They truly are the best. I am forever grateful for the magical photos they took on our wedding day. Thank you Sam and Dave!

ails nailed down in advance. In addition, many of my relatives commented on how nice this team was. Would definitely recommend Samantha Marie Photography for a professional team and beautiful photos!!!
We happily chose Sam’s photography for our engagement photos. Our main objective was to have our love captured in all its essence by someone who would allow us to be ourselves in f...
ront of their camera. Sam was that person for us. In addition to her ability to make us feel relaxed and comfortable, we also loved the style in which she photographed and edited. She traveled close to 5 hours down to Shenandoah National Park to make this happen and had proofs ready for us in no time after. Sam is a true professional and passionate about every project she takes on. My wife and I recommend her services to anyone we know getting married. We’re grateful to have had such a genuine human being as part of our engagement celebrations. Thank you, Sam!
I randomly came across Sam's photography ad on Facebook & the rest was history. She was hands down our favorite find & vendor. Sam first did our engagement pictures & as soon as we...
met her & later received the pics, we knew she was our girl. We had a REALLY large wedding party the day-of & she was able to keep everyone in check - without coming across bossy or impatient, helped us meet all timing milestones throughout the day & most importantly, took absolutely breathtaking photos. The candid shots were my favorite & I love her use of lighting! We now honestly consider Sam a friend of ours & appreciate all of her hardwork & talent. We'll be booking for a family photoshoot now that we've added a little one to the mix :)
I cannot say enough wonderful things about working with Samantha! Her images are stunning and working with her was a true pleasure. She is kind, professional, and beyond talented. ...
She even had several images posted by the end of the weekend we got married - a fantastic teaser of the beautiful images to come.
I will definitely be looking for more reasons to book her as a photographer in the future!
If she is available for your wedding, book her now! :)
Sam and her husband Dave are seriously the most talented and down to earth people my wife and I know. I was lucky enough to meet Sam in college and even luckier to have her as a f...
riend and roommate. So naturally, Sam and her hubby would be guests at our wedding. Sam shot our engagement photos and we were speechless. We searched and searched for a style like hers and could not find it. My wife and I asked Sam if she would do us the honor of capturing our wedding day in Charleston, SC. With zero hesitation, she accepted!
We couldn't be more pleased with Sam and Dave's work. They were so organized and never made us feel rushed even when our timeline ran a little (or a lot) behind. Everything was perfect. They captured moments that because of the chaos of the day we didn't even remember happening.
We cannot thank Samantha Marie Photography for making our memories last a lifetime. I would recommend Sam to everyone!!!!
