incredibly special moment for our family—and unfortunately, the results were heartbreaking. Key moments were missed entirely: we didn’t get a single clear photo of the bride-to-be’s reaction, and only half of the groom’s proposal expression was captured. The photo quality overall was poor—the coloring was off, and the scenic mountain backdrop we specifically chose the location for was barely visible in any shots. We originally had another photographer who had to cancel due to a medical emergency, so we went with our second choice, Samantha. Sadly, that turned out to be a mistake. She was clearly inexperienced, needed direction throughout, and did not come prepared with proper lighting solutions or the ability to manage capturing the mountains and the photo shoot. This was a once-in-a-lifetime moment for us, and the missed opportunity is something we’ll never get back. I recommend hiring someone with proven experience in engagement or bridal photography and the technical skills to handle lighting and capture critical moments with care.
