y beginning and had no doubt I would love my wedding photos. I promise you will not regret hiring her! I hired her as my wedding photographer on August 27, 2017. I know, i'm soo behind on writing this :(. First impression of her was her website which is sooo informational and helpful in understanding her packages and it literally answered all of my initial questions. It's straight to the point and honest. Which I loved! As a bride, we all have to do our homework and make sure we choose a great photographer, as photos are all that we're left with when everything is said and done. I'm so thankful we found her! From our very first meeting with her, to our engagement shoot and our wedding day, she has been nothing but incredibly sweet, professional, friendly, attentive to details, has a great eye for beautiful shots, very personable and responsive. If you're reading this, look no further, you have found the best photographer at a very reasonably affordable price. Working with her was so easy and fun! Felt like we had been friends with her for years! I love that before every pose she would pay attention to all details and adjust if needed. Like fix my hair if I had a fly away or straighten my necklace if it was crooked. All the little things that matter when looking back on your memories. Heck, she even gave us a ride back to our hotel when we accidentally got left behind at our venue at the end of our wedding day lol! I can go on for days about how awesome she was to work with but her work speaks for itself. Thank you again Samantha for capturing our wedding day so beautifully!! You are my photographer for life! Can't wait to work with you again! :-)

her and knew she was the one. For people not comfortable with being the center of attention, she was perfect; she made us feel relaxed and injected a lot of humor into our shoots. In fact, our photo session post-ceremony was a nice breather in between the ceremony and reception! Of course, we loved her style too and her photos are beautiful. She was very flexible and communicative. Of course you can bring your own ideas, but she knows when to take control and take beautiful photos that you'll cherish in the future. It was the perfect mix of silly, personality-filled and beautiful, romantic photos. In short, we loved her and highly recommend her for your special day!

that jumped out at me right away from her website when I was doing my initial research. The first was the style of the photos she takes. They really stand out from so many other photographers. While I don’t think I can do her justice by describing her style, visually it was just what I was looking for. And then second, the amount of information she give on her website was the most impressive thing ever. This really showed me how organized and professional she was, which was really important to me when I was looking for wedding vendors. And once my husband and I met her in person, we were even more sure she was exactly who we wanted. Her personality is so nice and fun and down to earth and cool and calm while also in charge and confident. It was the perfect combo of someone who was cool to hang out with but also experienced and professional. And this just made our engagement shoot and wedding so great, she was an absolute dream to work with. She was on time (and stayed until the very end), flexible, helpful, so easy to work with, and our photos are beautiful. And might I say, such a great price, and what you get for that price is amazing! Oh, some advice for engaged couples…I didn’t realize how important engagement photos would be for teaching you about poses you like and maybe more importantly, don’t like. My fiancé and I learned a lot, which I didn’t expect. I always thought it was more just a fun thing to do so you can get some extra pics, but it was so much more! Do them!! And also, try as many different poses as you can – learn and practice!

that her photos had, which was exactly what we were looking for to capture the spirit and atmosphere of our wedding day. We were living abroad at the time but Samantha was so helpful and communicative as we talked about what we were looking for in our wedding photos that we felt 100% confident we had made the right decision, long before we even met her. As the wedding approached she was attentive and careful to make sure she knew all the specific shots we wanted/needed. Outside of those (mainly family photos) we really wanted to give her free rein to take photos as she saw fit, though, which was honestly the best decision we could have made. She has such a fantastic eye for composition and framing; we love the photos that came out of it. We got the photos back about a week ago and they are just amazing. She has a masterful understanding of composition- family photos (how can they be interesting??) look like works of art. Seriously. Our first look and ceremony photos were close and intimate, the pictures of the guests at the reception were candid and real, the shots of the concert we had after the dinner were dark and atmospheric, the photos of the décor and food looked straight out of a magazine (but like one of the good magazines)… oh, and the night-time photos of the married couple (i.e. us) towards the end of the evening were just super dramatic – basically, Samantha got the perfect shot for every situation. You can tell she is a true creative, an artist. The shorter-than-the-long-version-but-longer-than-the-short-version-version: you still need Samantha for your wedding! As you lead up to the day you’ll feel completely secure that everything is being taken care of, and then a couple of months after the day you’ll get your photos back and feel like you’re back there all over again. She is a great talent, and she will capture your day beyond your expectations. We can’t recommend her enough!!!

so beautiful, and so perfectly captured the day. To top it off, Sam is such a pleasure to be around, which was important, because she was by my side the entire day. She was such a calming presence, so professional, and went above and beyond each step of the way. She is a talented and skillful photographer when it comes to her eye for detail combined with composition and color. I knew I wanted a documentary style aesthetic, but the photographers I was seeing that I liked were way out of my price range. Thank God I found Sam!! She knows how to take moments beyond the posed or expected shots and document the REAL emotions of the day, and she is beyond fair with her pricing for what she offers. Like other reviewers have said, she captures so much more than you realize she is seeing in the moment. Sam is also just incredibly hard working. She went far above and beyond, working 12 hours nonstop on our wedding day and delivering hundreds and hundreds of gorgeous photos. She was kind and welcoming from our first phone call and in person meeting. She went far beyond the realm of what many other photographers will do by actually coming to visit our venue since she hadn't been there before; and since the permissible locations were limited there, she helped us scout additional locations that better suited our desired aesthetic. Working with Sam was honestly just a dream. She is a true artist, passionate about providing compelling photos. I recommend her for any special event or phase of life you wish to capture.
