Owner and Chef
Navjot Arora, chef and co-owner, graduated from one of the most prominent culinary institutes in India. His training led him to work for the prestigious Taj Group of Hotels in India where he honed his skills under master chefs. His vast experience and passion for food brought him and his wife Anu to New York, where he opened the Michelin recognized Chutney Masala and Sambal .
Chef Navjot has always enjoyed cooking, creating recipes, and using the recipes passed down from older generations. He has always wanted to share this passion of South Asian cuisine with others. Chef Navjot is now able to share his love for Spices with his patrons.
