We hired Sam for both our engagement and wedding photos and each time he's shown how professional and reliable he is. For our recent wedding photos, Sam Fu even came early to familiarize himself with the best venue shots and, though we had a long photoshoot list, he made sure to get each one and many many more. Truly demonstrating great care and attention to detail with his work. And even though he has many other weddings and events to photograph each week, we've always gotten our photos back very quickly from him. My husband and I will forever treasure all the beautiful photos and will be reaching out in the future because we know, with Sam, we'll always have great results.
Sam and his team were wonderful to work with for our prewedding photos. Since the beginning, Sam has been very responsive as well as transparent regarding the services/pricing and we couldn't be happier with what he delivered. The package included hair and makeup for my fiancé and I, which I was so grateful for since his assistant, Yin, helped make us look our best ever. At the shooting location, Sam and Yin were so patient and professional in helping us pose comfortably and naturally. And within just the next week, Sam shared over 1000 digitals with us and they were all so lovely it was hard to choose our favorites. We wanted pre-wedding photos in a studio setting because we're pretty shy people and were lucky to find Sam on Yelp. He was quick to communicate and we scheduled the photoshoot within a week or so of contact. I was able to visit his studio to try on some dresses prior to deciding on a package and the staff was very friendly and gave honest recommendations of which dresses suited my body type. I ended up choosing two dresses to rent for the shoot and brought a third.
On the day of the photoshoot, the makeup artist did a great job switching up looks and Sam was super helpful in suggesting different poses for us. My fiance and I can be awkward in front of the camera and he really made us feel comfortable. The makeup artist was on hand to do touch ups and also adjust our poses. It was really nice seeing all the effort they put into it. We never felt rushed and it definitely felt like they were putting in a lot of effort to get good shots.
I do recommend bringing jewelry to your photoshoot if that's your style. I wished I had brought more variety to match with the dresses but that's on me.
It was a great experience. We were able to preview our photos a couple of days later and were really happy with a lot them even without touch ups. It was hard to choose which ones we wanted and that says a lot! 100% would recommend Sam Fu and his team!

Sam is great! I initially found him via Yelp when looking for pre-wedding photography. From there, I saw some some great reviews and decided to check out his website. I emailed him about his wedding packages and decided to go with a photoshoot package that included 2 locations and 2 wedding dresses to rent. Prior to the shoot, I went and selected the 2 dresses. On the day of, there was a make up artist who helped me do my make up and hair. She stayed with us during the photoshoot for any touch ups. Both her and Sam during the photoshoot made me and my fiance feel so comfortable. It was our first time doing this and we felt so awkward and were not sure how to pose. Sam is really great at directing you if you feel awkward about how to pose. Both him and the make up artist also gave tips and made sure I looked my best. Sam also let us experiment with so many poses and styles, it was great.
Sam is an amazing photographer! His studio had everything we were looking for and his staff was really helpful. During the shoot for our engagement photos, his direction made it easy for us to get the best shots possible.

Great thanks to Sam and his team! I found Sam for my pre-wedding photos after I saw his works on social media which impressed me with his professional photography skill. Comparing to other studio on the market, their pricing is also more reasonable. But it still surprised me when I got in touch with his team. From the day I was consulting to deciding locations, scheduling, testing dressing, Joey show his patience and profession. On the day of photography, Sam is really experienced which made us completely stressless. Yin is also greatly helpful. The whole process went through smoothly and it made us forgettable. When it came to retouch Sam is responsible and our communication is efficient that meet our expectation. I would truly recommend Sam and his team to my friends and family. It is a really satisfied experience.

Sam and his team was very helpful from the beginning. His staff in LZ bridal Joey and Annie provide good advises on bridal dresses. Cost breakdown and photoshooting expectations were clear from the beginning.
On the photoshooting day, it was over 90 degree in LA. Sam and the make up artist Yin made the process smooth and easy. Sam was patient and very experienced. He provided good instructions on poses and makes things easy for my husband and myself that have never done photoshooting. We cannot be more happy with the outcome of the pictures.
Sam was also very accommodating on the post-photoshooting touch-ups.
Overall, the services his team provided meets our expectations and i would recommend him to my friends and families.
I feel very fortunate to have been able to find Sam and his studio to take our pre-wedding/engagement photos. With the pandemic, it was hard to find a photographer who would even respond to our emails. They offer a few photo packages to choose from. Once everything is confirmed, we arrive to the studio early for hair and makeup. What I love most is that they have a selection of wedding dresses to choose from to wear for the photoshoot. During the shoot, I loved that Sam directed us with all these different poses! Our pictures (and poses) would have came out very awkward had he not given us some tips. Sam and his team were super professional and welcoming. I would definitely recommend his studio to family and friends!
My fiance and I hired Sam for our engagement photoshoot and our wedding photos and video. We were very impressed with the quality of the photos he took. I am not much into taking photos, but he did a great job making the photoshoot fun and memorable, and the photos he took did not want me to delete them like ones I usually take myself. We haven't seen the wedding photos or video yet, but we expect the quality to be no different. His team that assisted at our wedding was very professional and patient. We highly recommend him for your special occassion.
OMG! Sam was wonderful to work with and our pictures turned out phenomenal. He was extremely professional from the minute we stepped into his studio for hair and makeup. He was friendly, engaging, and made us feel very glamorous.
We shot at 2 locations. His picture taking skills and different angles and perspectives made everything look so natural and amazing. He used the golden hour lighting near sunset time to its full advantage and we cannot be more satisfied with the end result.
I highly recommend him for any serious photo shoot. He’s been a pure joy to work with and his artistry is amazing. Definitely 5 stars all the way around!

Sam and his team are the most professional one I have ever met! We were kind of nervous when selecting our photography and videography teams until we met Sam Fu. He is super patient and be there for us whenever we had any questions to reach out. He showed his high technics in every aspect and really impressed us! We booked to take our pre engagement pictures at Kimberly Crest garden, and he went there with his team to shoot videos clips which were used in our video. The wedding dresses and flowers he provided were beautiful which saved us a lot of budget too. He is very easy to communicate and always willing to accommodate with us for any special needs. Needless to say as newly weds we had a ton of questions about our wedding pictures and Sam took the time to respond to each of our questions one by one and made sure we understood.
On the day of the photo shoot, both Sam and his assistant were 100% perfect. From the makeup in the morning, to the studio shoots to the on site shoots out in public, everything was perfect.
The finished results are wonderful too, Sam not only took the time to double check each of the photographs we selected for printing and enlargement, but he also took the time to touch them up and double check to make sure there were no missed details such as blinked eyes or other issues.

I have known Sam from my wedding planner, and I actually met Sam at LZ Bridal in last year November during my wedding gown tryout session. Sam's studio was located in the same building as LZ Bridal, and it happened that Sam was also in his studio in the same day. After I settled with my wedding gown, me and my husband decided to sit down with Sam to learn more about the wedding day photo packages and hoped to get to know more about Sam and his team's photo-shoot style. Sam immediately shared his photo albums with us, and tried to answer all our questions and concerns on wedding day photography. From our conversation, we have learned so much about Sam and his team's photo-shoot styles and techniques, and most importantly, we could tell that Sam loves his job! He is very passionate and enthusiastic about photography, and we could see he is proud of every piece of his work. We had decided to choose Sam and his team for wedding photographer for our special day in our mind, because we are confident that Sam would do his best to capture our very best moments.
On our wedding day, Sam and his team arrived on time despite the raining weather. Due to the unexpected rain in SCAL, our wedding had to move indoor instead of on the oceanfront lawn as originally planned. Because of this change, the photo shoots had to take place indoor. With the limitation of lighting and space, Sam and his team tried their best to capture the every beautiful moment of our wedding. With their professionalism, the entire shooting experience went smoothly.
We finally received our wedding photos one month after the wedding, and Unique Studio did not disappoint us. Thank you so much Unique Photography!! Everyone looks lovely in the photo, and I cannot wait to share these amazing memories captured in pictures with my friends and family.

SAMFU PHOTOGRAPHY IS A FRAUD!!! What you see on his website is not what you will get! We had discussions about details and thought everything would go smoothly since we hired him early on before the wedding. Day of the wedding...SOMEONE ELSE, NOT SAM, TEXT ME AND SAID HE WAS AT MY WEDDING VENUE HOURS BEFORE THE CEREMONY! WE NEVER HEARD OF THIS OTHER GUY NAMED KIN! SAM NEVER MENTIONED WE WOULD HAVE ANOTHER GUY BE OUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER, NOT IN OUR CONTRACT OR IN OUR DISCUSSIONS!!! What the heck was I supposed to do as its hours before my ceremony?! WE WERE LIVID!!! The end of the day we could not believe we were just SCAMMED!! Fast forward, we received AMATEUR pictures that were crooked, hazy, off lighting, props in my face from the foreground, and people cut off, to name a handful! We had NO DIRECTION as to how to position or pose etc. I had to tell the photographer what to do! Isn't this why we hire a professional?! And most importantly, we received zero "in the moment" photos and the pictures are NOTHING like the photos on the website! My nieces and nephews can take better pictures with their cell phones! SAM FU PHOTOGRAPHY IS A FRAUD, STAY AWAY, he will take your money first as if everything is great and send someone else on your wedding day without any notification. And the most important day of your life is now just a memory and we will never have that day back.

I was fortunate enough to have Sam do our engagement session last minute. My husband and I were completely blown away by the photos. The BEST photographer you could ever ask for!
