About this vendor
SamFu Photography is a wedding photography business that operates out of Santa Ana, CA. The company is owned and operated by lead photographer, Sam, who takes great pride in providing a comprehensive service. A dedicated professional, he preserves the memories and milestones that light up couples’ special occasions so that they can be re-lived over and over.
Sam is an experienced individual who boasts several years' expertise in the industry. He is a multi-award-winning photographer who has a preference for capturing wedding-day bliss. Because SamFu Photography works indoors and outdoors, they can do justice to sweeping backdrops in the same way that they can capture close-up portraits. A versatile and well-rounded pro, Sam can produce a broad spectrum of aesthetics.
There is an artistry to many of the photos that SamFu Photography produces. Highlighting the color, magic, and sparkle of wedding scenes, Sam likes to illuminate beautiful features. Orange valleys, dark-brown woods, and deep-blue waters form the backdrops for many of his photos. He uses these to draw all eyes to his subjects. Equally, he can produce modern-style photos that brim with elegance and sophistication. Such is Sam’s adaptability that he is comfortable harnessing a number of other approaches to isolate those eye-catching moments.
SamFu Photography can be there for all the key moments, from the moment you said ‘yes’ to the wedding after-party. In-between, they can cover the rehearsal, the preparations, the ceremony, and the once-in-a-lifetime joy. Sam strives to produce jaw-dropping, meaningful images that can be cherished for years to come. One of the ways he achieves this is by using drones to capture aerial angles. This photographer’s digital files can be made available as prints, enlargements, proofs, and albums, while he also offers social media sharing.

My husband and I hired Sam Fu and his team for our wedding photography and videography and they exceeded our expectations! We are both quite awkward with posing, but the team guide...
d us on our poses and made everything really easy for us. The quality of our pictures were exceptional and we loved getting to look back on our wedding day. We hired them last minute for videography and it was the best decision we made. They edited it so beautifully and really captured the love and happiness from that day. The video is something that we will truly cherish for the rest of our lives.
I chose Unique because they were one of the few in the area to offer an all-inclusive package. My package included dress and jewelry rental, hair and makeup for the couple, the pho...
toshoot, all raw digital images, 20 edited photos, and a printed canvas.
The hair and makeup artist was able to follow my vague instructions and helped customized my overall look, including jewelry choices. She also stayed throughout the shoot for touch-ups, and even helped with posing.
Sam's knows what angles to shoot and which lighting works. He guided us through the poses and was able to wrap up our shoot earlier than estimated even though I usually find myself very awkward in front of the camera.
I also appreciated that they provide all of the digital files, including the 500+ raw ones. When I wasn't a fan of the initial editing style, Sam was very receptive to my feedback and revised the photos quickly.
The reason for 4 stars is the communication. During the consultation, I was hoping for more guidance on ideas since I didn't have a clear vision. I was just shown his portfolio on his tablet and quietly scrolled in front of him. After the shoot, I had to follow up for updates on my raw and edited photos. Only after I reached out first did he respond immediately.
Great photos, my wife and I loved it.
Loved photographing with him! Had a vision and executed perfectly! He will show you pose ideas if you are new to posing.

If you're looking for a photographer to capture memories from all kinds of events, Sam Fu is the one to go with.
My husband and I got married on October 10, 2025, at the Hilton L...
ake Las Vegas. As you may recall, it rained quite heavily around that time. We were supposed to have an outdoor wedding, but due to the rain, we ended up having an indoor ceremony.
However, Sam Fu is a very considerate photographer. He planned his shooting schedule so that we could take our first look photos while the weather was still good, before it started raining at the outdoor venue where our floral arch and decorations were set up. He also took us around the hotel to take many gorgeous photos! No matter if it's an indoor or outdoor shot, a portrait or landscape, a close-up or full-size shot, you will be amazed by his gorgeous compositions. He will guide you through all the motions when you're lost, and everything will turn out very well when you see the photos!
During the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, he captured all the touching moments, such as my husband and me entering separately, saying our vows, putting rings on each other's fingers, people toasting, crying, hugging, cutting the cake, and giving gifts.
My husband is very picky. After seeing Sam Fu’s work, he chose him over many other photographers. Now, my husband is proof. Sam Fu is a magician who can preserve all your good memories. Thank you Sam Fu! You’re the best!
The wedding photos turned out beautifully, and the location chosen for the shoot are perfect.

hey came prepared and provided thoughtful advice on different photo locations.
On the day of the wedding, my coordinator was running late and, as the bride, I was already busy with makeup. Sam’s team seamlessly stepped in, started capturing photos and videos right away, and guided us through all the important moments. Their professionalism and initiative made everything run smoothly, and I couldn’t be more grateful.
We hired Sam for both our engagement and wedding photos and each time he's shown how professional and reliable he is. For our recent wedding photos, Sam Fu even came early to famil...
iarize himself with the best venue shots and, though we had a long photoshoot list, he made sure to get each one and many many more. Truly demonstrating great care and attention to detail with his work. And even though he has many other weddings and events to photograph each week, we've always gotten our photos back very quickly from him. My husband and I will forever treasure all the beautiful photos and will be reaching out in the future because we know, with Sam, we'll always have great results.

we couldn't be happier with what he delivered. The package included hair and makeup for my fiancé and I, which I was so grateful for since his assistant, Yin, helped make us look our best ever. At the shooting location, Sam and Yin were so patient and professional in helping us pose comfortably and naturally. And within just the next week, Sam shared over 1000 digitals with us and they were all so lovely it was hard to choose our favorites. Sam and his team are truly one of the best professionals in the field and we're very excited to have him capture our big day too! Would definitely recommend reaching out if you're hoping for amazing photos to cherish forever :)

smooth and enjoyable experience.
The team was impeccable in their professionalism. They arrived early, were well-prepared, and blended seamlessly into our wedding, capturing every moment without intruding on the proceedings. Their expertise was evident, guiding us through poses and shots with ease and confidence.

hin a week or so of contact. I was able to visit his studio to try on some dresses prior to deciding on a package and the staff was very friendly and gave honest recommendations of which dresses suited my body type. I ended up choosing two dresses to rent for the shoot and brought a third.
On the day of the photoshoot, the makeup artist did a great job switching up looks and Sam was super helpful in suggesting different poses for us. My fiance and I can be awkward in front of the camera and he really made us feel comfortable. The makeup artist was on hand to do touch ups and also adjust our poses. It was really nice seeing all the effort they put into it. We never felt rushed and it definitely felt like they were putting in a lot of effort to get good shots.
I do recommend bringing jewelry to your photoshoot if that's your style. I wished I had brought more variety to match with the dresses but that's on me.
It was a great experience. We were able to preview our photos a couple of days later and were really happy with a lot them even without touch ups. It was hard to choose which ones we wanted and that says a lot! 100% would recommend Sam Fu and his team!

Sam's knowledge and expertise in the field were truly impressive. He guided us through the entire process. Sam was not only professional but also incredibly responsive. Whenever we had questions or needed assistance, he was just a message away.
When it came to the actual photo day, Sam's talent as a photographer shone through. He captured every precious moment with such finesse and creativity. One aspect that particularly stood out was Sam's ability to give us clear and easy-to-follow posing directions. He ensured that our postures were relaxed and natural, which resulted in stunning and authentic photographs. His attention to detail and commitment to making us feel comfortable in front of the camera truly made a difference. The studio wedding photos he took were nothing short of amazing, and they will be cherished memories for a lifetime.

about his wedding packages and decided to go with a photoshoot package that included 2 locations and 2 wedding dresses to rent. Prior to the shoot, I went and selected the 2 dresses. On the day of, there was a make up artist who helped me do my make up and hair. She stayed with us during the photoshoot for any touch ups. Both her and Sam during the photoshoot made me and my fiance feel so comfortable. It was our first time doing this and we felt so awkward and were not sure how to pose. Sam is really great at directing you if you feel awkward about how to pose. Both him and the make up artist also gave tips and made sure I looked my best.
