Samila Bridal and Formal

Samila Bridal was my very first experience in a bridal store and I cannot say enough positive things! Senior stylist Shea helped me during my appointment and made me feel SO comfortable during my try on. I felt listened to with my dislikes and so surprised and overjoyed with my pick!! Any bride looking for a bridal store that has accessibility, is queer friendly, and has so many wonderful options—Samila bridal is your go to! I also picked up my bridal accessories there, I LOVED their selection of jewelry and accessories that paired with all of the dresses. Im so happy Samila was the very first pick I had!

Samila was our 4th stop and if save the best for last isn’t real, then I’m not sure what is. To start, the shop is absolutely beautiful, additionally there was a lot of street parking available. I had booked my appointment the night before, and called the shop before booking to ensure my size range was available. The shop had requested that I browse their selection and choose a few dresses that I liked, and they had those dresses pulled for us when we got there. We were brought to the beautiful loft, where were had the whole upstairs to ourselves. Shea was fantastic, she really made the whole experience great for us. She was extremely informative, and made me feel very comfortable during the fitting process. The third dress I tried on ended up being the one! I had tried on a very similar dress at another shop, but the quality of the dresses at Samila are so much better than any of the others I had tried. I am so grateful to have found this shop!

I can't say enough of wonderful things about this Bridal shop. I booked the VIP experience (WORTH IT)! My bridesmaid and mom had a great time while having some bubbles! Shea my stylist also made the experience stress free and fun! She knew exactly what I wanted. So glad my "yes to the dress" happened at this store!

I had a wonderful experience at this bridal shop! They only take 1-2 brides at a time and you are on separate floors so there is no comparison with the other bride. It is a smaller shop which makes it more intimate, and it made me feel so special! They allow you to change on your own which I love because I prefer to have my privacy. Overall I had wonderful experience and the staff was so wonderful! They are accommodating to many price ranges as well, my dress was a little over 2,500 and I purchased the veil here as well!

I had a wonderful experience at Samila! I worked with both Yasmin and Shea and they were both great - they asked helpful questions about why/why not I liked a certain dress, and had amazing vision with the accessories they pulled to complete the look. I also can't say good enough things about their in-house tailor, who brought it all together. Every time I visited the salon, whether it was for buying a dress or measurements, it was a welcoming place. Can't recommend enough!

Yasmin was amazing. I was able to request a dress before my appointment and they helped me get it from the designer to try on. Yasmin also pulled a few other dresses based on my description of what I was looking for and I found my dress almost immediately! Staff was amazing. Highly recommend.

It was my first time trying on wedding dresses and did not expect to find my wedding dress that day. I love beaded lace dresses and they had exactly what I was looking for. I truly appreciated the experience and support I received with all the employees and the stylist I worked with.

Shea was fabulous- she made the experience fun and helped me find the perfect dress! She went above and beyond to help me add little touches to take my dress to the next level and make it EXACTLY what I was looking for. I went to another store before this one, and I can say Samila put the other place to shame. I was also surprised at how many affordable options they had, considering it felt like such a high end boutique. I live over an hour away, but decided to come here because of all the great reviews. I had a wonderful time here and I found my dress!! I appreciated that they wanted me to figure out why I liked the dress and why I didn’t. They also had me compare from other places I had gone to, good or bad. This helped me so much! I got all my prom and high school dance dresses here as well so when I walked in it made sense. When we found the dress, my sister, mom and I started to cry and Samila let us have this beautiful moment together! Highly recommend this place for a gorgeous bridal gown!

I had the BEST experience at Samila Bridal choosing my wedding dress. The store itself is absolutely beautiful and well set-up. The staff are super friendly, professional, and helpful. I had already been to a couple other bridal boutiques and was with Samila staffs help, was able to narrow down exactly what I was looking for. The selection of dresses was perfect, a nice variety but not so many dresses that I felt completely overwhelmed. They were very patient while I went back and forth and compared, I didn’t feel any pressure to make a quick decision or buy on the spot. Overall, a wonderful experience and I found the most gorgeous ballgown! Thank you to everyone at Samila!

Samila Bridal helped me find my perfect dream wedding dress! When the dress needed a customized neck, they worked with me until we knew it would be perfect. The staff was never pushy and did not pressure me into liking anything. The staff, especially Yasmine, were such a calm presence leading up to the wedding and made me feel confident with my decision. The alterations woman was so sweet and did a perfect job.

Samila Bridal and Formal is an amazing place to go to for your wedding dress search. Cute little place with two floors worth of dresses of all kinds and budgets. My consultant Shea was amazing. She was so friendly, kind, and helped with any question/concern/idea I had while at Samila. I had a specific idea of a dress in mind and she was able to find so many dresses I loved. I felt so comfortable there and would have even if I hadn’t chosen my dress there. 10/10 recommend.

Loved my time shopping at Samila & Co!!! My stylist, Shea, was so good at helping me get comfortable identifying things I did and did not like about each gown. That helped me really narrow down what I loved and she listened to me so well, bringing perfect samples for me to try. She was also so sweet and easy to chat with; it made me feel so welcome. Another note was that on their website they said they had sample sizes up to 18, and as a plus size bride I was worried that with “bridal sizing” that wouldn’t be large enough. Turns out they are much more size inclusive than I originally thought and they had a beautiful and large selection for me to try. The shop is beautiful and comfortable and it felt very well organized and enjoyable to shop here. I found The One here! Thank you Shea and Samila for making my dream dress come true!!

Outstanding! We paid for the VIP package giving us two hours to find a dress. Yasmin was fantastic- and knowing our small window of time to find a dress, pulled what was available. We found the dress - in stock - and are thrilled. Highly recommend Samila for your bridal needs. The staff was very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and fun. Said YES to my dress at Samila Bridal! Loved the shop from the moment I stepped inside. The changing room was also the display room so made it easy to get in and out of the dresses. Also felt like a true bride being up front and center to show off the stunning dresses. I got to choose from a selection of designer dresses, including my favorite Sophia Tolli. Shea was super helpful and made my shopping experience stress free and fun!

I had a great experience at Samila! It was easy to make an appointment within a couple of weeks which is pretty quick. Yasmin was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable (it was my first and only dress appointment and I was worried I would be overwhelmed)! She was able to pull most of the dresses I asked for from the website, and we tried them on in an order that made sense for my thought process/based one what I liked about each dress. One dress that wasn’t on my list ended up being everything I wanted. After I said yes to the dress, Yasmin told me she DESIGNED IT HERSELF!! It was such a wholesome experience! I am shocked I ended up choosing a dress at my first ever appointment. I never felt pressured or overwhelmed after all. I highly recommend this shop to anyone, especially because of Yasmin.

Shea was an absolute dream to work with! I went here for my first dress shop visit for the great wedding hunt and ended up coming back to buy “the dress”. Shea understood me and my vision (or lack thereof) and was able to help me find my dress in such a fun and personal way. She made it fun and so much less stressful than I thought it would be.

I had a wonderful time finding my wedding dress at Samila Bridal. I chose the VIB Experience with my mom and Maid of Honor, and it was so much fun to have the space to ourselves as I tried on dresses. I absolutely love the dress I chose -- it was exactly what I had hoped for, and I felt so beautiful on my wedding day. Samila Bridal's tailor also made sure the dress was a perfect fit. Samila Bridal was the 6th bridal boutique I visited and it was BY FAR the best experience I had!!! Yasmin was so thoughtful and amazing - listened to me and we had a great heart to heart conversation on my first visit when I went by myself. I went back with my mother and future mother in law and she helped me not only find the perfect dress, but make enhancements to the dress that make it truly a one of a kind. I have been raving about my experience at Samila Bridal since my appointment last week! I seriously can't recommend then enough. Shea and Malia were incredible! They say down with me and the rest of my group to talk through the dresses I had tried on at the other salon I visited. They asked what I liked, but more importantly what I didn't like about my favorites. Shea then curated the perfect set if dresses to try on. Even though I felt like my favorite dresses were completely different, Shea figured out the common thread and found the perfect dress! I swear she figured out my vision before I did. They also made the experience fun with their flourish curtain reveal for every dress. If you are looking for a bridal salon in Seattle, give Samila Bridal a call!

I had the most fantastic experience from start to finish with Samila. When I decided on my gown (After trying on over 70 at several other boutiques!) I remember the staff ensuring me they would be on the full journey with me and they really delivered on that process. The entire experience was seamless. The alterations were perfect, and last but not least - I had a mini stress meltdown about one tiny detail that Yasmeen talked me off of the ledge from. She was so compassionate for all the stress I was feeling and was going to move mountains for me to get the perfect neckline. Turns out the neckline was already perfect and I was zoning in on that detail as a stress reaction. She was like a friend/therapist when I needed it and even called me to follow up multiple times. Can't say enough about the wonderful team at Samila.

Seriously the best experience ever. I got to sip champagne and try on any dress I wanted. The dresses all all great prices and amazing quality. I had shea as a consultant and she was very knowledgeable and easy going. I couldn’t recommend samila enough.

First, I am the father of the bride to be. Mothers and daughters, encourage the father to come along for the wedding dress shopping experience. Such a magical afternoon!! Shea Donovan was our Stylist-Consultant, and she was absolutely outstanding. Her knowledge of the inventory and her questions to my daughter were perfect. She definitely made the experience for my wife and me very special. And, more importantly, my daughter absolutely LOVED Shea’s style sense and energy. We did our due diligence and shopped at another store the next day, and the experience compared to Samila Bridal and Shea’s magic touch fell far short. 5 Stars for Shea and Samila Bridal!

My stylist Shea (sp?) could not have been more organized, professional, pleasant, and intuitive with the style of wedding dress I was looking for. She used every minute of my appointment time to show me a good variety of dresses without steering me away from what I envisioned or rushing me at all. I visited 4 bridal boutiques in search of my wedding dress and Samila provided the best experience by far! Shea and Yasmin were an absolute joy to work with, and the service they provided was beyond expectation. When the dress I ordered came in but didn’t fit due to the sizing not fitting to designer specification, Yasmin and her team handled the situation with such professionalism and grace. These girls were so awesome throughout the entire process. I needed a dress from online and they helped me get it to their salon within a week! I ended up falling for a different dress in their salon, but the stylist Yasmin was so kind and super supportive during the entire process.

I chose Samila Bridal and Formal after looking online for boutique wedding dress shops in Seattle that carried Morilee dresses and would allow me to bring a couple guests (due to COVID many wedding dress shops were only allowing 1 or 2 guests). I ended up doing the Diamond experience so I could bring 4 people with me and as a plus we got snacks and champagne. Right away all of the consultants were so sweet and made me feel very comfortable. They listened to what I was looking for and made adjustments along the way based on my feedback from each dress. It was so apparent how much they put into each client and prioritized finding my dream dress over making a sale. They had an amazing selection and I definitely found the perfect dress without breaking the bank. The process after purchase was incredibly smooth. They were able to squeeze me in for a last minute alterations appointment after I got COVID and the day of pick-up were able to quickly readjust the bustle hooks when it ended up being too long. I am SO happy I picked Samila and would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a comprehensive wedding dress experience!

They made my dress shopping experience so special, the grand reveal my stylist did with every dress was so fun and being behind the curtain in the room with my bridal party added such a fun suspense as i put each dress on and heard everyone getting excited to see it. It was my first dress appointment and by the end I said yes to the dress without needing and more shopping around. The dresses- stunning. The shop- so comfortable and the staff made me feel like a princess. Couldn’t of asked for a better experience and I will remember it for a life time.

I visited three dress shops and Samila was the best by far! Gorgeous selection of dresses without being so large that it would be overwhelming. They take great care of the samples and clean them often and it shows! My stylist, Shea, was fantastic. Sweet, fun, and very knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend this shop to all brides-to-be!
