020, and he was on board with us every step of the way when we originally hired him, when we postponed, and when we started to plan the details after deciding not to postpone the wedding again. I can't overstate how important it was during this pandemic wedding planning to have vendors who are really on your side and with you every step of the way, and Ray was one of them. He didn't charge a cent for postponing. A few weeks out from the wedding, he made sure we were organized with our song and music preferences. His forms he has you fill out for your wedding song/music preferences is extremely detailed so that it not only gives him what he needs to deliver the reception vibes you want but it also organizes you too. He played exactly what he wanted. He hyped up our guests, and he had a great attitude going with the flow. That's what you want in a DJ and Emcee. Highly recommend Ray!!

our music was perfect with the combination of The Chainsmokers, Drake, along with other of our favorites. During the reception Ray knew how to keep the dance floor packed with a perfect transition of our favorite songs. Shoot he even got the groom who rarely dances up on his feet. Ray really knows his music and knows how to keep the party going the entire time. I (the bride) was on the dance floor for probably 80% of the reception because I just had to keep dancing! He can really read a crowd and knows what music to play and when. He is also a great MC and was super interactive and personable. You can't beat his prices and his personality. He really takes the time to get to know his clients and at the wedding it felt more like a friend playing music than a random DJ we hoped would play good music. DJ Ray is seriously the best and he will not disappoint!

I would have rated this DJ five stars but give him more like 41/2 stars because he did play songs off our "do not play" list. While our guests enjoyed doing the cha cha slide, we did ask that this not be played, along with slow songs which this DJ played anyway. Our guests enjoyed them, but it was our request not to play them that was overlooked.

o play music to please everyone, Ray was able to find the perfect balance between different genres to satisfy the entire crowd! And he was very accommodating, our preference was to have a slightly quieter DJ and was able to do just that! We were very lucky to find such an accommodating and flexible DJ! He also provided the sound for the ceremony, and we can thankfully say we have absolutely no microphone issues during the ceremony or reception! Highly recommend!!

Even my husband was dancing, and he usually does NOT dance! He helps you throughout the planning process and takes his time when choosing all the wedding music. We loved that he likes to have fun with the crowd and keeps everyone in the loop about what's coming next. We recommend DJ Ray hands down to be your wedding DJ!!
