over a scar that my sister was self conscious about! I had a friend doing my hair but we used her hair stylist Nanette for everyone else and she did a great job as well. I subtracted two stars for one situation though, which I feel needs to be mentioned as it left me with a negative feeling about them. During initial discussions I was told that the prices for both her and Nanette were the same, to make things easier, and that flower girls were free. This was perfect, since I had three nieces with long hair that would be my flower girls! I assured my sisters several times that their daughters would be styled for free, since that was what I was told. After everyone was styled and basically ready, a very stressful situation arose surrounding my table arrangements which claimed my attention. It was at this time that Nanette informed my sisters of the total cost, which included 30$ per flower girl! Since my sisters didn't want to stress me out further, they paid her without uttering a word to me until the next day. Naturally, I was upset since I felt that they took advantage of the situation to extort extra money from my sisters. Had I not assured them the flower girls were free they would have simply styled their hair themselves. When I emailed Maria to ask her how this had happened she told me that only makeup for the flower girls was free and that hair was extra! This was not what she had told me in writing beforehand. Also, who puts makeup on 4 year olds?! Rather than offer to refund my sisters, she offered to do my makeup again for free. I live out of state and that does nothing for my sisters, who were the ones overcharged. So as you can see this situation really put a damper on my overall experience with them both. They did a great job, and I would recommend them, especially Maria. However, I would make sure to be VERY clear about prices and to pay everything in advance to avoid extra charges that were not discussed.

n’t look overdone one bit. The pictures came out amazing and I’m so happy I chose Maria to do my makeup for this special moment in my life. I would highly recommend her if you’re thinking about getting your makeup done for that special occasion.

y looked beautiful. I loved seeing my mom look into the mirror after make-up and glow. Her prices are very competitive and it was so nice to know that I would be taken care of and pampered. She was worth it!
