San Diego Marriott La Jolla

We selected San Diego Marriott hotel at La Jolla for our wedding for a variety of reasons: they allowed outside catering (at a reasonable rate) which was very important for us as we wanted to serve our traditional food; their ballroom was recently renovated and really beautiful and clean; their contact person was responsive and very helpful throughout the entire process. The events manager offered several options for planning every detail of our wedding, from recommending vendors to planning our ballroom set up to accommodating the last minute minor changes to our timeline. We owe a great part of our successful wedding organization to the helpful ideas and comments made by this individual which made our wedding planning that much easier. We are extremely happy we ended up with this venue and would recommend it to any couple who are looking for an indoor wedding venue. My only suggestion for improving your experience is if you are planning your own wedding, consider assigning a friend who is aware of all details of your planning to be in contact with the hotel staff on the day of your wedding, as you will not be able to communicate with the hotel staff due to your other duties.

Their recent renovation looks awesome, stylish, chic and comtemporary. Outdoor patios and firepits. banquet staff was friendly and helpful and food was great! I had a wonderful time and so did ALL of my guests! they really go out of their way to make you happy!

The Catering Manager was very helpful in the planning of our wedding reception.

This was a nice venue and the sales manager and event manager were so pleasant and nice to work. They put so much time and effort into our event. They were knowledgeable and organized. I'm glad that we decided to have our reception here!
