San Gabriel Country Club is situated at 350 E. Hermosa Drive, San Gabriel, California. This historic club holds the distinction of being Southern California’s oldest 18-hole golf course. The beautiful clubhouse is accented with stone cladding and is surrounded by beautiful gardens and immaculate greens, lined by multiple species of mature oak and sycamore trees. Adding to the beauty of the area are spectacular views of the San Gabriel Mountains in the distance.
This upmarket and exclusive country club is perfect for both indoor or outdoor wedding ceremonies and receptions. The picturesque grounds and water features create exquisite backdrops for memorable first-look photographs.
California Room. The California Room is situated on the south end of the Clubhouse. The lush carpets, cherry wood columns and trimming and ambient lighting give the room a romantic feel. California landscape artwork adorns the walls and large floor-to-ceiling windows line the walls. The California Room can accommodate 200–240 seated guests. The California Patio area can be used as an extension of the California Room, increasing the capacity by 30.
California Patio. The California Patio leads off from the California Room. The centerpiece is an original hand-painted tile mural of the San Gabriel Mission. This area is an ideal space for a cocktail reception and can accommodate up to 120 seated guests.
Cravens Room. The Cravens Room is a private dining room with stunning views of the golf course. The Cravens Room is elegantly furnished and offers privacy for smaller, more intimate receptions. It can accommodate up to 60 seated guests.
What You Should Know
San Gabriel Country Club provides couples with a professional banquet manager who will assist with all the planning and preparation for the wedding day. Its gourmet chef, backed by a dedicated culinary team, offers couples a wide selection of menu options and is happy to accommodate special dietary requirements. The Country Club has strict rules about dress code that have to be adhered to and no cell phones are allowed. Music must be finished by 11 p.m. Standard wedding packages include:
- Four-hour function time
- Tables and gold chiavari chairs
- A variety of table linens to select from
- Votive candles
Valet parking is required for events with more than 75 guests. Cake-cutting and wine corkage service is available for an additional charge.
San Gabriel Country Club prides itself on excellent personal service. Optional extras include:

At San Gabriel Country Club, we specialize in creating one-of-a-kind events of all sizes, types and themes that will reflect your personal style and create memories to last a lifetime. The California Room has a capacity of 240 attendees indoors, as well as a large terrace and outdoor patio. The patio serves as a multi-functional addition to your California Room event or as it's own al fresco area complete with historical tile mural water feature. The Cravens Room is our newly constructed private dining and conference room. The Cravens Room can accommodate up to 24 attendees with our formal chairs, or up to 60 with banquet chairs.

We had our wedding ceremony on the main fairway and it was beautiful with the green grass and the San Gabriel Mountains in the background. Melissa was really kind and accommodating to us. They provided gold chiavari chairs, the PA system, a water station, and most importantly, they made sure everything went smoothly on the day of.
