Sierra was a joy to work with and was incredibly professional, and working through some unusual requests from us to work around the groom's food allergies for a safe wedding day. The servers during dinner were very professional and attentive and they elevated the dinner experience a lot. The food was excellent, many guests told us afterwards it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. Sanctuary is truly a top notch wedding venue in every category, we highly recommend it.

get any better or more picture-perfect than the Sanctuary. They excel in every category you need for the perfect wedding: location, scenery, food, service, honeymoon suite, etc.! From day 1 of planning, the staff at Sanctuary makes the process fun and easy. Jessica McQueary is the perfect onsite coordinator. She is detail oriented, knows all the questions to ask and won't let anything agreed upon be forgotten. The food is next level - you (and your guests) will not be disappointed! Our guests still rave about how good the food was, as do my husband and I. As far as scenery, every part of the resort is picture perfect. Your wedding album will thank you for choosing the Sanctuary because you'll have so many different backdrops (all of which look like they're straight out of a magazine). There is so much nature surrounding you and the floral touches that the Sanctuary has added around the resort. Added bonus - the natural scenery and floral touches allowed us to spend less on our floral budget because there was so much natural beauty built in. The patio and ceremony lawn offer superb outdoor options for the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner (if you desire). This is especially important for COVID-couples trying to plan a safe and enjoyable event, as we did. Being outdoors helped us and our guests feel safer yet it wasn't any sort of compromise with the 180 degree views we had of the Valley and surrounding mountain ranges. This was a big hit with all of our guests (and looked stunning in our photos). The ballroom is also spacious and much more modern than what you may picture as the traditional ballroom. It has a distinct upscale look while still feeling open and welcoming. Even the dance floor they provide meets the elegant aesthetic - they don't miss a detail! On the day of the wedding, all of the staff around the resort made us feel so special. You can't find service that excels as much as the Sanctuary's team anywhere else. As the evening came to an end, we were dropped at the most incredible honeymoon suite we could've asked for with all the little touches to make it a romantic landing spot after an incredible day! It was an unexpected surprise that left us excited to be back in the room after the wedding and not feeling disappointed the big day was over. My only regret is not booking the room for at least another night to really enjoy it and I'd highly recommend any couple do so if they can! All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better wedding ceremony and reception location or a better team to work with. This was our second time planning a wedding as the first one was cancelled due to COVID. I thought I'd be sad I didn't get my Bahamas destination wedding but instead I was HAPPY I had the chance to replan and have my dream wedding in such an incredible and beautiful place. I think my husband would also agree with that statement and that speaks volumes as to what an incredible place the Sanctuary really is.

Every part of the planning process was easy, and she was supportive and flexible on the day of the wedding. I can’t say enough good things about Jessica and the Sanctuary. It was 100% worth it!

Every single person we encountered from the valet staff, to the front desk staff to the private events staff were friendly and gracious and inviting and we knew our dearest family and friends would be in the best hands. Soon after I started corresponding with Jessica and I fell in love with her as well. I can't begin to describe the genuine, caring, honest and supportive person she is. We decided not to use a wedding coordinator, so during the months of planning it took me to figure out what I was doing, Jessica was there for me ever step of the way. She answered any and every question/concern I had as well as offered her professional advice and experience on how to make the best use of the property. This was vital to us as we planned the entire ceremony/celebration from Seattle/online. We made a second trip down for our tasting and were even more blown away by the quality of the food and the service provided to us. From that point on we were just counting down the days to show off this incredible venue to our guests. The day of our wedding was absolute perfection. The weather was amazing and the views, landscaping, vibe on property was magical. The ceremony and reception were flawless. Our guests were truly shown 5-star treatment, the wait staff was beyond attentive, no wine glass was ever empty and the food was just as incredible as it was during our tasting. I know without a shadow of a doubt that our wedding will be talked about for years to come because of the hard work and dedication of the Sanctuary staff. I would give them 10 stars if I could and I hope for all of those looking for a unique and magical wedding experience that you look no further than Sanctuary on Camelback!!

I did not need to lift a finger, my tables were set to perfection, all of my decor and signage placed with care and all last minute changes handled with grace composure and ease. I did not feel stressed during one second of my wedding day. The ceremony space on the lawn was stunning, cocktail hour held on the Views patio was stunning as the sun set, the view alone impressed all of our guest. I cannot stress enough how perfectly everything was set up. Dinner inside the ballroom was breathtaking, the food was raves about by all. My mother was feeling sick and could not eat so the staff boxed her meal and gave it to her in a beautiful bag with no hesitation. Last minute seating was added in with ease and no stress whatsoever. Our glasses of champagne were not empty for one moment, the staff was so attentive and friendly that I was hugging them by the end of the night. Also, they did help my bridal party with taking down decor at the end of the night that was way above and beyond the level of help that was expected, I simply cannot stress how nice everyone was. Jessica McQueary alone is worth getting married here. As our day of coordinator, she collaborated with me so well (I did not have a planner) and was so attentive with answering questions and being flexible. You never know what to expect when working with someone new but I was so relieved to find that Jessica’s personality matched perfectly with mine, organized and on point but also laid back in the sense that she did not for one moment make me feel stressed or give me any attitude whatsoever! She was truly the superhero of our wedding. We rented the Spa House and adjoining 4 casitas, our entire bridal party and parebts were able to stay in the compound with us all weekend. The house was meticulously attened to by the staff and golf carts were sent at all hours of the morning for our late night party guest which was extremely nice. The Spa House was just insanely beautiful, the view was breathtaking, Camelback Mountain speaks for itself and I think is one of the most beautiful places in Phoenix. Our out of town guest were thrilled with the sounding area of Old Town Scottsdale with all its upscale western charm and great shopping and restaurants. I cannot recommend Sanctuary Camelback Mountain enough for your wedding, it was the experience of a lifetime and memories my husband and I will cherish forever. We had a large guest count, and Jessica worked tirelessly to fit all our guests at tables inside and still have a stage for the band. The After Party at the Jade Bar was also a big success. Excellent late night bites and again outstanding service. It was a pleasure working with everyone at the Sanctuary! We felt like they personally cared about us and making our daughter's wedding memorable!

e food is always five star quality and we truly fell in love here. My husband proposed here after 6 years visiting and the day after I was meeting with Jessica. To say I was in love with the idea of having my wedding here doesn’t do justice to the term but meeting Jessica pushed me over. We were in contract within a week. I can say every single guest we had felt like a celebrity with the details and service they experienced. I couldn’t have pictured a more perfect week of events and an even better grand finale. Jessica’s heart went into it all and she pulled every string to be sure our day was a dream come true. I wish the plannin wasn’t over so I could keep planning with Jessica and had a reason to bug her daily but now I consider her a friend and hope to be planning an anniversary party at this exact spot with Jessica (my newest friend) in ten years. This place, this staff, the food, and Jessica made this worth every single penny.

When my husband tore his achilles two weeks before our wedding, she volunteered to cart us around for our first look. The food was AWESOME! Every guest raved about the selection all night. The chef was accommodating of my dairy allergy, and a few vegan guests as well! Service was more than we could have imagined. They stationed a server to meet us at the end of the aisle with champagne and appetizers. Any time a guest asked for anything, they were available, and always with a smile. And the view cannot be beat. It makes for the most memorable and amazing pictures. All in all, you cannot go wrong at Sanctuary. And the experience was worth every penny!

She did great and helped us make decisions and take the guessing out of the picture, but I think her role is definitely not the day of planner. Anytime she was out of the office she let me know beforehand. My husband and I wanted a super customized wedding menu since we stick to a low-carb/keto diet and Jessica and the culinary team at Sanctuary were more than up to the challenge! We had cauliflower puree instead of potatoes, our beef carpaccio was served on parmesan crips and not pita, the pastry chef even made us fat bombs for dessert! Everything was amazing. The food is incredible, the resort is beautiful and the customer service is outstanding. Everyone we encountered at the resort was helpful and eager to meet our needs. Thank you so much to Jessica and everyone at Sanctuary for executing the perfect wedding day!

Jessica, who i worked with on the coordination side, deserves special praise- she is a true professional. She is friendly and was on top of everything! She answered my questions so quickly and was a pleasure to work with. One of the main reasons why i chose the Sanctuary was for the food. I am a firm believer of "you get what you pay for" and this was no exception. The beef was phemonenal- and so many guests said it was the best wedding meal they had ever had. I can't wait to celebrate future anniversaries at this resort.

Little touches and finishes like that are what separate Sanctuary from the rest. We are so so thankful we chose to have our special day at Sanctuary Resort!! Couldn't imagine it anywhere else.

As a planner, it made the day flow with ease to have golf carts and constant attentive staff for the bride when taking pictures and getting ready. Sloane, the Catering Manager, and her assistant both went above to assist on the day- weddings truly are a a one and only special priority at Sanctuary. Joy, the banquet manager, picked right up where the catering team passed along the event, ensuring each detail of service was as our client had arranged it. The Catering Manager and all staff really work earnestly to go above and beyond clients expectations and make the day truly unique for each client. Can't wait to see the next beautiful wedding at Sanctuary- what a perfect spot for the big day!

All of Sanctuary's employees and staff were so wonderful! They made us feel like the most important people at the resort that day. From Sloane to Phoebe to the valet staff to the bartenders... everyone was just so genuine and kind, and seemed to be sharing in our happiness that day. It just made the experience that much more magical. My husband and I had narrowed down our venue choices to Sanctuary and one other place, but in the end we realized there was no place that could compare to Sanctuary. And there really isn't. Our friends and family have been telling us non-stop how beautiful everything was and how delicious the food was. In fact, many people have said the food was the best they had ever had at a wedding. We 100% agree. We also happened to use several Sanctuary-recommended vendors (florist, DJ, cigar roller), and they did NOT disappoint. Their recommendations are spot on. I truly can't say enough wonderful things about Sanctuary. Waking up the morning after the wedding, it all felt so surreal. I will always remember that incredible day... thanks to Sanctuary I got to marry the love of my life in the most beautiful setting imaginable. It was truly, truly a dream come true.

Customer service is such a huge priority and it shows in everything they do from the planning process until the end of the wedding. They were able to accommodate without hesitation every request from the bride and groom and helped make their day perfection! They were great about making sure the rooms to get ready in were prepped, they knew exactly when pickups on the golf cart needed to happen to get the bride around for photos and they made sure the bride and grooms suite was perfectly prepped for after the wedding including candlelight, chocolate covered strawberries and champagne. They were so on top of things and super easy to work with. All of the food was amazing and guest are still raving about how delicious everything was. I look forward to working with Sanctuary again!

r cocktail hour has views of the entire valley, and the indoor reception room is classic and intimate. Lauren, the event/catering manager is amazing and helped with anything and everything that we requested. She planned out the timing of the entire night which made everything run so smoothly. She made everyone feel comfortable and we all had a fantastic time. The food is AMAZING and nothing like regular "wedding food". Almost all our guests were from out of town and they had an absolute blast at our wedding and kept commenting on how gorgeous everything was. Would definitely recommend this venue!!!

find a perfect location. We set out a weekend to look at about 6 different places from The Royal Palms, Biltmore, The Ritz and finally Sanctuary! All I can say is Sanctuary hands down was the best place. From the views to the service it was amazing. It took us about 3 seconds for us to decide we wanted to have it there. We worked with Lauren who was honestly the most amazing, easy going and super accommodating person I know! She made the whole process easy, and planning this all from another state made things stressful, but not at all with Lauren. When we did our food tasting I was absolutely taken back on how good the food tasted! We wanted to have the best food at our wedding, and by far this was the best food I have ever had! As our wedding day approached I can't tell you how amazing the entire staff was for us. Graham helped us with accommodating our guest and he was AWESOME! Anything anyone needed he got it taken care of. The day of our wedding is something I will never forget! Everything went so smoothly I didn't have to worry about a thing. The weather was amazing (we got married in April). There was not one single thing I could think of that I didn't like. The signature drinks, the food, the cake the location....AMAZING! Yes our wedding wasn't cheap, but at the end of the day it was the best day of our lives! Not to mention all of our guest said our wedding was the best they have been too! We still have guest talk about it to this day. Sanctuary hands down is the best place to get married in Scottsdale. Thanks to Lauren and the Sanctuary staff for making our wedding perfect!

This was all made possible thanks to the catering manager, Lauren--she is from the very first step, your best support system and she will give you fabulous recommendations and tell you the truth when asked her opinion. She is patient, extremely thorough, and detail orientated and she helped make our wedding absolutely perfect. The Sanctuary is so lucky to have her! There are absolutely no regrets in having our wedding at The Sanctuary..we would do it all over again! An absolute gem of a place to get married in!

Sanctuary's was different. I worked with Lauren Wickham, Catering Manager @ Sanctuary, in planning the event. Lauren made the whole process easy and coordinated all logistics with my vendors. She was great at making recommendations that fit my taste and style. I never felt like she was trying to up-sell me; she always seemed to focus on my what would work best for me and my budget. Although the days leading up to my wedding were perfect AZ spring weather, there was a drastic change on the day of my wedding. Temps dropped to 50s and it was pouring rain and hailing. Lauren had a back up plan in place and made all the necessary changes. Even though we didn't end up having the ceremony outside, it was still perfect! The ballroom is lined with glass windows, so my guests could still see the beautiful view (and the sun came out for the ceremony).  My experience planning the wedding and the actual wedding day were great. I would recommend Sanctuary to anyone looking for a venue that is gorgeous inside and out.
