It was one of the selling points & 3 other people heard her say that multiple times. it sounded like she couldn't do any of it. after a call I found out that typically she has an assistant and that day of my wedding she wouldn't have one which is why i believe that this is why there was a sudden change in mind. she told me that she would find an assistant that it would be okay. That all i needed to do was come to the rehearsal about 12 & build the alter, the day of the wedding have the groom/groomsmen come in to move the alter & that she ONLY needed them to move the boxes of my decorations. I made very easy and broken down instructions, it was organized, i made an index of where everything was, labeled very box & put a list on the outside saying was inside since i made all my decor. we show up at 1230, she forgot that i could come in early. then she is asking me how im going to get my cord and vow books as there is no table at the alter. I had already talked to her about putting a table at the alter over the phone. she forgot about that. then she made a comment of how "we weren't the only wedding that was making her do all this stuff this weekend" which tells me that we were not the only wedding she had promised to decorate for and did the same thing. Remember how she said she'd find an assistant? Nope she didnt have one. On wedding day i find out from my husband/groomsmen she was nowhere to be found for 2 hours. They did nearly all the decorating, including decorating ALL the aisle which she TOLD ME she could do. the audio guest book i had, which had instructions in it, was not turned on. I'm glad i caught it in time. Our cake topper? It had a missing piece. I asked where the frame was for it, she said "Oh i saw that but didnt know what it was for." I had place a picture literally right on top of the cake topper in the box so when she saw it, it would be the first thing she saw. I also emailed her about it. I don't understand why you would see a piece in a box, ignore the photo and just automatically think 'I dont know what this is for so Im just not going to use it'. she continuously rushed my girls and I to hurry only for her to hold off on starting the ceremony because there wasnt enough people there yet. She had moved the chairs from my side to the grooms side WITHOUT asking me or confronting me about it. I DID NOT tell her to do that for a reason! i only had about 30 people, my husband had about 120. so now it was completely uneven which I didn't want. also, we were told our locker rooms were private after 130. THEY WERE NOT. we had people walking in to use the restroom. She constantly forgot my husband and I were eating during cocktail hour alone.I understand that she has a lot of weddings, but these are very big things to forget. I feel like she should have taken better notes. 20 people from my party/family individually complained to me about her. They said she was a mess, all over the place, unorganized & was the cause of their stress on their wedding.. My DJ and photographers carried my wedding.The fact that 20 people complained to me w/o my influence is crazy. If you plan to have your wedding here, do not work with Tarmara. She will stress you out so much and honestly really kind ruined parts of my wedding.

lute pleasure to work with. The staff was so kind and the venue was breathtaking. The food and drinks were so amazing. We got compliments from our guests that this was the best wedding they've ever been to. Their recommended vendor list was amazing - we chose all of our vendors based on this list and I wouldn't have changed a thing. Every vendor was so easy to work with, made us feel comfortable, super professional and I loved working with every one of them. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I truly believe you can't go wrong if you are at this venue.

We had the most fantastic wedding at this venue and it is Julie and the amazing chefs, waiters, and staff that make it all happen. moothly from start to finish. Julie, one of their coordinators is literally a superhero. She kept us all on track and took care of anything that popped up on our day. To say that she is the best at her job is a gross understatement. She was extremely responsive in answering the plethora of questions my husband and I had prior to our wedding and accommodated any special requests that we needed. We were so impressed by all of the Sanctuary’s staff members. A special shout out to Sarah who soothed our 3-year-old ring bearer when he was having a meltdown prior to walking down the aisle. She is a child whisperer. Everyone’s service and positivity throughout the night was extremely professional and very much appreciated. We received so many compliments from our guests about the 5-star service and the amazing food! The food at both our cocktail hour and dinner was fantastic! We cannot recommend this venue enough! You will be well taken care of and feel like a part of the Sanctuary family before your wedding is over.

We had no wedding planner or additional help and it was not needed with the Sanctuary and utilizing their amazing recommended vendors list. All of our guests were blown away and although it was raining on our wedding day, the best thing about this venue is everything outdoors is covered where the wedding takes place so nothing has to change! Overall, just gorgeous and was the best decision we made.

She is amazing with her attention to detail and stayed right on schedule throughout our wedding day making sure everything went smoothly. The other thing I loved about it was that I could have an outdoor ceremony without stressing about the weather. Our ceremony was held under their beautiful covered pavilion with the mountains as the backdrop which was then repurposed later in the evening to dance the night away. Such a unique space and it was the perfect setting for both the ceremony and the dancing. The other thing I must mention is the food. The food is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. So many of our guests reached backed out to us after our wedding to tell us how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the food was. Lastly, the service was top notch. The servers were amazing and we loved getting to work with Chelsea and her team to help us create the most memorable night. She was so wonderful to work with and she was always so quick to respond to our many emails which we also appreciated! Choose this venue for your wedding, you won't regret it!

The day of the wedding went incredibly smooth thanks to her, more so than weddings I have been a part of in the past. We received amazing reviews from guests on the quality of the food, attentiveness of the entire staff, and just the location in general. Our guests got amazing photos and they were able to feel like they were in the mountains without being too far from the city. If you are worried about weather, the ceremony and dance floor takes place in the covered gazebo, and that was a huge selling point for us since you can never predict Colorado weather. We ended up with a perfect day, but the next week was rainy, but we would have been fine either way. I can't recommend this venue enough!

The views are incredible and lend for stunning photos, and the venue itself is cozy and rustic. One of our biggest praises for Sanctuary is the food. She was always available to chat and was very easy to get ahold of via email. Our day went down as smooth as possible, and Chelsea was with us the whole time (even shedding a tear with us as we admired the day we had). Additionally, Sanctuary provides you with basic linens, chairs, tables, silverware, and food/bar are all in house, taking off a load of stressors. We could not be happier with our wedding day and cannot wait to go back someday soon. Thank you Sanctuary for hosting our perfect day!

We also found the venue to be so versatile and unique - we got married in the pavilion outside, and after dinner in the clubhouse, transformed the pavilion into a dance floor that our guests continue to rave about. The staff at the Sanctuary went above and beyond to make sure the entire event ran smoothly - Julie and her team executed every detail perfectly, and even was kind enough to save us some cake on our way home. It is an easy drive from the airport, and has great hotels and restaurants nearby for guests. In short - don't think twice about booking this venue it is the best decision we made while planning!

We cannot recommend Sanctuary enough, even being a COVID couple they were very willing and helpful working with us on rescheduling which cannot be said for many venues. The Sanctuary is so unique in that you can have your ceremony outside in the covered pavilion that frames Pike's Peak where you don't have to worry about Colorado's infamous late afternoon storms. Your guests then move to the breathtaking terrace overlooking the Rocky Mountains. Dinner is served inside the classic, stunning clubhouse, and then we opted to have our dance back outside under the stone pavilion. We had such a wonderful experience working with Julie as our wedding coordinator. She was so on top of everything that we didn't have to worry one bit leading up to our special day. We even had a chance to meet the General Manager, Rudy Zupetz, who was also so helpful and amazing. The staff that they have trained here are all just incredible and go over the top to make sure everyone is having an exceptional time. The next day, my husband and I tried to think of anything that went wrong and we couldn't think of a thing- it was perfect. This venue takes care of it all for you. The compliments we received on the food , service, and overall ambiance of the venue were countless. So many people told us that our wedding was like a fairytale and I 100% can say it was because of The Sanctuary. At the end of the night, my friends, family, and I didn't want to leave because it's just such an incredible place! Trust me when I say you can not go wrong with booking this wedding venue. It is hands down the best decision we made in our wedding planning journey.

The food is incredible, and the chef was happy to create custom items for us. As an out of town couple planning our wedding during the pandemic, the flexibility provided by the venue and staff was so reassuring. They helped us to schedule our site visits/tastings to coincide with our travel plans, and it really made no difference whether we were planning from across the country or down the street. Chelsea was our day-of contact, and even though she had multiple weddings each week once Covid-19 restrictions started lifting, she made us feel like ours was the only event she had on her plate. If there were any issues, we never even knew! Our wedding felt so luxe and exclusive, but it was honestly way more affordable than other venues we looked at when you looked at catering/decorations needed for other locations. Go with Sanctuary, you will love it!

People have not stopped talking about our hors d’oeurves since the wedding. They do a great job at your tasting of letting you try multiple options, which turned out perfect for us. We had so many compliments on our reception at Sanctuary, with some guests saying it was one of the fanciest venues they’ve ever been to for a wedding. We are so glad we picked Sanctuary, and couldn’t recommend it more!

We dealt directly with Steffany while planning and on the day of our wedding. Steffany and her team were so well organized and precise that everything went off without a hitch. We chose to do a buffet at our wedding, and the food was hot, served timely and absolutely to die for!!! high recommend the Sanctuary for both a ceremony and reception!
