Sanctuary Vineyards is a full service wedding venue located in Jarvisburg, North Carolina, just minutes from The Outer Banks. This coastal vineyard is the perfect backdrop for your wedding, whether it be simple or extravagant. The atmosphere of this enchanting venue evokes a mix of wine country and coastal Carolina. The venue, being a vineyard, offers breathtaking views of rows of vines and lush green fields, surrounded by a quaint family farm. Offering both friendly service and an simple but elegant atmosphere, Sanctuary Vineyards is the perfect place for your big day. Sanctuary Vineyard provides you with you an exclusive winery and tasting room surrounded by stainless steel tanks and French oak barrels. And fear not, because temperamental weather is not a problem. We can swiftly move the vineyard ceremony indoors, as Sanctuary Vineyards provides accommodations for up to 200 guests. Tables, chairs and linens are included with all packages, as well as dance floor and hayrides for other packages.

n indoor ceremony among the elegant lights and wine barrels. They also have a lovely groom and bridal suite for the wedding party which gave us plenty of space to prepare for the ceremony. The inside of the vineyard has a warm and welcoming space where we were able to have our cocktail hour. Our reception and ceremony were held in the large adjacent room where we were surrounded by walls of sparkling lights and wine barrels. As stunning as the vineyard is, its the staff who really shine. John and every member of his staff went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect wedding day experience. They are always available to work with you and were a joy to work with. We couldn't have asked for anywhere better to have our Outer Banks wedding.

did everything they could to make our day go perfect. They really know what they are doing when it comes to weddings. Christine was very easy to access and her correspondences via email were always very quick and professional. We were able to communicate from a state away to ensure we had everything we needed to make our day exactly what we imagined. From the time we were engaged, we felt nothing but love and acceptance from Elton and John. As we saw them at the winery throughout our year + long engagement, they always welcomed us with open arms, and made us feel like family. On the day of the wedding, it rained, so we had to turn to plan B and move the wedding inside. Let me tell you, I was super bummed, as I was so excited to get married in the beautiful vineyard. But, Christine and her team, along with my wedding planners, were able to make the wine room the most BEAUTIFUL plan B I have ever seen. All my guests couldn't believe that I would want to have the ceremony take place anywhere else but inside the wine room with the barrels as the backdrop. They made the what would have been frantic plan B situation seamless and beautiful. We cannot say enough great things about this winery and their wedding services. Christine and her team are top notch. We would recommend them to anyone and everyone!!

and easy to work with making the planning of the event as simple and stress free as a wedding can be. Christine , the wedding coordinator was in constant contact with me, answering all of my questions, providing guidance, suggestions and ideas. She spent an entire day with me insuring the set-up was exactly what we wanted and the final results easily exceeded my expectations. The vineyard is a beautiful setting for a wedding and despite a little wind (which Christine could not control although I'm sure if she could have she would have) it was perfect! The reception was held in the actual winery with wine barrels as a backdrop along with actual wine making machinery - perfect for our "rustic" theme. The vineyard provided a dance floor and all chairs/tables and some of the decor at no additional cost! In addition we had access to locally made wine for the reception making the event a truly unique experience! Watching as a working winery was transformed into the perfect wedding reception venue was amazing! Thank you to everyone at Sanctuary Vineyards for all of your hard work and for exceeding our expectations!
