g meetings at the venue, we discussed our vision for the aesthetic of the wedding which included the reception room as well as specifics for our ceremony. I was informed that my ideas would come to life and that the wedding would have the look I was envisioning. The number of details that were overlooked is beyond my comprehension. We had a multitude of issues that did not live up to our expectations, nor were plans executed the way that we had discussed in the multiple meetings we had in the months before the big day. We understand that during events things don't always go as planned and we anticipated that there would be one or two missed details, but we are extremely disappointed at the amount of time, effort, and money we put into this wedding to have numerous details missed and/or different than we had discussed. After our wedding, we expressed our concerns and Natalie apologized and offered to give us a partial refund. We have now been married for about five months and have made multiple attempts to get the partial refund that she came up with and offered us and have been completely ignored. It is truly a shame that she promised she was going to make it right with us and instead we have been disregarded. It would be worth it to hire an outside planner who will truly be there throughout the process and keep good on their word.

pointed about my wedding planning experience that I needed to share and warn other brides in the future. We had our wedding at Sandhill Crane in December of 2022. The venue and its staff was OUTSTANDING, if I was doing my review only focusing on them, I would have given them 5 starts for sure. The place is beautiful and fully renovated, Avi and his team were amazing, the food was delicious, the charcuterie board was amazing, the drinks were great and overall the servers and staff were all very polite and knew what they were doing. I don't have one bad thing to say about them. But, my experience with the wedding planning team (Natalie and Michelle) which is the preferred vendor recommended by the venue, was a complete disappointment. Throughout the whole process, everything was just very unorganized, the wedding planner was late for every call and meeting we had (sometimes 1hr+ late), she never communicated with my vendors up until 3 days before the wedding, I had to plan the entire ceremony music, first dance, toast, etc. I had to chase her with questions and make sure everything was accounted for and planned properly as opposed to the other way around. On my wedding day, everything from the wedding planning side was a complete disaster and it made my experience so miserable. The venue layout plan that we had worked on for weeks was not followed at all, and everything was out of place. Michelle had the worst attitude and just wasn't prepared for my wedding at all. She didn't review the layout, all the tables were out of place, she forgot about the wedding party ceremony order, and was just a complete mess. Here's a list of things that went wrong or never happened at all : - The bouquets were not done in time for the pictures to start and when they finally gave me my bouquet it had 8 sad looking roses (semi wilted) and nothing more - I was promised at least 12 roses and a lot more greens and elements to make it look fuller. My bridesmaids had to take flowers from their bouquets to try to fix mine so that it didn't look so miserable. - The ceremonial arch was not done in time so the ceremony had to be pushed back (when guests had already arrived), the arch fell on the floor and members from my family had to fix it because the wedding planner didn't care to fix it. - All tablecloths were SO wrinkly. My bridesmaids and I offered to iron them and they didn't let us do that. - I was promised a tall and more robust centerpiece for the main table at the reception and that never happened. All centerpieces were the same, no flowers. - I was promised a petal toss for guests at the end of the ceremony and that never happened. - I was promised flowers and greens to decorate the cake and that never happened. The cake was completely white with only the cake topper that I bought - I was promised flowers and greens to decorate my welcome sign, and that never happened. - I was promised a day-of bridal assistant to help with my needs, provide us with a champagne toast and snacks during the date, etc. and I never even saw her for the entire day. If you're thinking about having your wedding at Sandhill Crane I would recommend hiring your own wedding planner. I had the worst experience and wouldn't want that for any other bride.

ng. Natalie was amazing during the entire planning process and she was there for me on my wedding day making sure everything was perfect. I can’t believe we had such a beautiful wedding. Natalie gave us upgrades we weren’t even expecting, and things looked so much beautiful than I could ever imagine or ask for. She also helped us referring some great vendors, so everything went smoothly. I didn’t eat much, but the food was delicious! Avi completely customized our brunch menu. I highly recommend Sandhill!
