enue is GORGEOUS! A Greek-revival style manor house on 27 acres, a pool, a lake and fountain, and horses? Yes Please! We went home and immediately booked our date. Having never planned such a large event in my life, I asked for some vendor recommendations. Not only did Sandlewood present numerous vendors, but offered many in-house services which really put me at ease. Additionally, it was through Sandlewood's recommended vendors that I found my amazing wedding planner. Already, I knew Sandlewood was going to be a GREAT venue. As luck would have it, after almost a year and a half of planning, just as invitation RSVPs started rolling in for my wedding, the COVID19 Pandemic hit the United States with a Fury. Sandlewood worked with me to move my date, and completely accommodate all the last minute changes, including significantly reduced headcount, and exceed both state guideline recommendations and my own safety protocols for a spaced seated dinner for a MUCH smaller and now outdoor wedding. Laura was my main point of contact. She was so amazing, patient, and on top of everything. I understand many vendors felt financial losses due to COVID, but I was treated with the same professionalism when I was planning my large wedding, as I was the more intimate wedding. While there were some changes with venue procedures in the 2 years between booking the venue and the actual event, Shawn and Lauren were nothing but accommodating and helpful. For the actual event, the staff was a dream to work with - everything went smoothly, and the in-house caterers, LaRue Catering, was so DELICIOUS! We had numerous guests tell us they have never had such a delicious meal in their entire life, and that's an understatement. I highly recommend Sandlewood Manor!

or is beautiful, grand, magnificent, and ever so timeless. We knew the day we walked on the grounds we were going to be married there. The staff is so wonderful, caring, and there attention to detail is beyond anything you can ask for. Most of all the venue is sooo peaceful. Even with all the hustle and bustle of the day there was a stillness you could feel while being there that my husband and i felt as the sun set on our day. I know 20 years from now my heart will still feel the same about this place. Thank you sandlewood for allowing us to have the most memorable day of our lives there!!

autiful manor house at the very front but once you enter the ballroom in the back, your breath gets taken away completely! All of our guests cannot and will never stop talking about our wedding because of how beautiful the setting itself was! To top everything off; the day of the wedding couldn't have been more perfect! The staff members are top notch! Servers were on top of their game making sure all guest were taken care of at all times, the chef accommodated several unexpected dietary restrictions for several of our guests and delivered a delicious meal for all of us, their cleaning staff was on top of everything at all times, their bartenders were their friendliest and served up drinks all night long and very responsibly, their security team was also the very best & their valet service made sure that every single one of our guest was good to go home safely! By far couldn't have asked for a better wedding day; it was a true dream come true and most definitely the wedding of my dreams! I want to send a special shout out to Laura, Sandlewood's Concierge/Coordinator, she was the sweetest and made sure that my day was PERFECT! She guided us for months up until the the day of our wedding. The day of the wedding she assisted my wedding planner all day and made sure that not only was everything perfect for the wedding ceremony and reception but even went out of her way to fluff my dress as I began walking down the aisle. Again, thank you to everyone who took part in our wedding! It will be a day I will never forget!

ndor closed down for business 3 months before our wedding date and after a lot of tears and praying I stumbled on this venue through the Knot. I firmly believe now it was divine intervention. The staff was amazing to work with, they are very organized, detailed oriented, and helped us to find options that fit our budget. I have to say it was a pleasure working with Laura Coward, she made the process so easy , so smooth, and so stress free. I can't thank her and the staff enough, they truly made our dreams come true. I had the opportunity to meet the owners the day of our wedding and they were so nice and were even jumping in and helping drive guest from their cars to the manor. All in all, our guest had the best time we received so many compliments on the venue and execution of our wedding. and always willing to help us explore options to find something that made us happy and worked for us! The actual venue is breathtaking and the perfect place for all the bridal party to get ready. The bridal suit is exquisite and super spacious. The guys have an ever bigger (and cooler) space.. the boys had fun playing games and watching the Astros the day of. My groom even JUMPED IN THE POOL 30 MINUTES BEFORE he had to get ready! I was jealous. Did i mention we got mimosas and the guys got a full keg??? Our wedding was as perfect as it could be and a big part of it was thanks to Sandlewood. The staff was on top of everything, the food was delicious, the service on point and the list just goes on an on. The involvement of the owners the day of the wedding was the cherry on top for me. They got there early to make sure that everything was up to our liking and walked around to help staff set things up. They even took the time to talk to us and help "ease our nerves." Thanks for making us feel special and valued! We would pick Sandlewood if we had to do it all over again.

erty is absolutely gorgeous, you don’t need much to enhance it’s beauty. There are many great options for the ceremony locations. We had ours in the pecan orchard which provided the guests with plenty of shade and a beautiful backdrop of the manor house. The cocktail hour in the manor house was gorgeous, everyone commented on how beautiful and unique it was! The bridal suite that is perfect for getting ready with you and your bridesmaids. The groom's quarters were great for my husband and his groomsmen to spend the day in, they have plenty of activities for them. The ballroom is stunning and the food was absolutely delicious. You won’t be disappointed with this venue! Our wedding was truly everything we wanted it to be and more thanks to Sandlewood Manor!

t weekend at the venue. Kerri, Priyanka and the whole team did an amazing job. We’ve had issues with other vendors and they stepped in and picked up the slack when they didn’t have to. They also helped us pick our amazing wedding planner - Alyssa Meeks who made our wedding a dream come true. Our wedding pro team made the whole process so seamless. They accommodated our every request, answered every question, and were by our side throughout the planning process. The owners of Sandlewood are passionate about what they do and believe in the spirituality of marriage. On our rehearsal night the owners, Shawn and Lauren gave us the sweetest card and prayed for our marriage. Stop looking and call them now, it will be the best decision for your marriage other than that perfect person you picked!

Gorgeous Venue with tons of space. There is enough space in the manor to have a reception inside! The orchards are gorgeous and you will be in awe as soon as you pull into the driveway.
