r the rest of our lives. That being said, Sandy’s work blew our expectations out of the water. Working with Sandy, we felt that we got way more than we paid for and that without her, our wedding photos just wouldn’t be the same. When working with photographers, it’s often difficult to build up chemistry and translate your wishes into words. Sandy spent time early in our hiring process to get to know us on a personal level, giving us extremely high confidence that she understood our personalities. This translated into incredible portraiture throughout our process of working with her for our engagement photos, rehearsal dinner photos, and photos on the wedding day. Sandy is a strong personality who knows when to command a room and guide people, as well as when to sit back and let things happen organically. She also brought her husband Eric along on our wedding day as a second shooter along with an associate who handled digital backup shots, which gave us confidence that if a photo that was shot on film didn’t turn out, we knew there was a backup. Having a full “photo squad” gave us extra reassurance on our big day. Sandy is a true professional that was able to help us feel heard about our vision, while also guiding us the entire way in terms of portrait positioning, eye contact, hand placement, shot-by-shot instruction, all while making sure we were having fun the entire time. Sandy went above and beyond throughout our wedding planning to make us feel special and every interaction with her solidified the feeling that we knocked it out of the park in hiring her. She still stays in touch and was extremely communicative throughout her work with us, to let us know ETAs and to coordinate with us around photo selection, prints, and framing. Can’t say it enough, Sandy is the best and worth every penny!
