Sandy did a beautiful job on our wedding cake. Not to mention, but the cake tasted awesome as well.
Sandy is known for her amazing cakes. She makes couture cakes that mirror the bride's gown perfectly- especially the lace. I had a Lazaro 3955 gown with beautiful lace and lace trimmed tool on the bottom of the gown, and she hand piped that lace onto the cake exactly as it looked on my dress. It was just gorgeous. The gown also had a large flower by my hip that she replicated on to one of the cake tiers. The cake was also moist and delicious. The grooms cake was a lot of fun too- she made a cake that looked exactly like my husband's poker chip set. I brought it to her one day, and she got measurements and took photos of it all. On the day of the wedding, the cake was never cut because my cake cutters had no idea that it was actually a chocolate cake!! So we had a gift opening party 2 weeks after the wedding, and used this opportunity to eat up the groom's cake- and it was still moist and tasted awesome. Everyone loved the cake. Sandy even surprised me with it because I had been trying to find 'a house divided' cards to place in leiu of the normal deck of cards that were in his case, but I could not find the right ones anywhere- so we decided to go ahead and used the personalized cards we had purchased instead. When I saw the cake the day of the wedding it was a huge surprise because she actually MADE an edible house divided deck of cards I had wanted to put on the cake! She was just awesome. There is not a cake she cannot make! On top of her great cakes, she also can alter dresses! I was a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding a few months before ours, and I had a bridesmaid dress I needed altered, and she finished it for me the same week I brought it to her- and for a very inexpensive price. She alters wedding dresses also (but this I did not do because my dress was in KC), but it would have saved me quite a bit of money. She is definitely a huge asset to any wedding!!
