Sandy is not only a wildly talented makeup artist, but such a calm and fun person to spend your special day with. I hired her for my wedding after having a great experience with her as part of a wedding party two years ago. She prioirtized making sure myself and my bridal party — all of whom tend to go without makeup more often than not — felt comfortable and like we still looked like ourselves. She and her associate Gabrielle, who did our hair, were extremely warm and kind as our group watched rom-coms to prepare for the big day. I cannot recommend her enough!

Hi, I'm Sandy! I've been a makeup artist for over 20 years. The majority of my career was spent as the Regional Trainer of Education in the Midwest for MAC Cosmetics. In most recent years, I've provided makeup support at New York Fashion week, makeup consultation to Chicago-based production makeup depts., and support to celebrity clients. In 2020, I became a cert. Mindset & Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. I combine these modalities in a Beauty Coaching Program to help brides level-up their beauty from the inside-out and ensure total radiance and wellness for their wedding day.

Although she has partners who offer hair styling services if needed. A curated artistic and holistic approach to beauty would best describe how Sandy works with her clients. She takes the time to understand your esthetic objective and what does and doesn’t make you feel comfortable and beautiful. Personally, I don’t typically wear a lot of makeup but was going for a stunning but natural look for my wedding. I did a trial session with Sandy and could not believe the transformation! At the trial session we critiqued ‘the look’ and she took notes on tweaking a few things for the wedding day. She has an incredible eye and artistry for working with one’s bone structure, face shape, skin color and age to select colors, lashes and degree of makeup that will transform you into the most beautiful version of yourself. She even sent me links to all the makeup products after my trial so that I could purchase the items on my own. My bridesmaids and I loved our makeup on my wedding day, and her talent shined through. Sandy was such a joy to work with. She was super responsive and explained her processes in detail. If I have another formal event, I will absolutely hire Sandy to do my makeup again!

Initially, I was so concerned that my skin concerns would be noticeable or that I would need so much make up to cover up those skin issues that I wouldn’t recognize myself. Sandy put all those worries to rest and she helped me bring out the best version of myself without looking like someone completely different. ghly trained and previously work for MAC and Estee Lauder companies. She’s also done NY Fashion Week and worked on a few celebrities! With her experience and glowing reviews from other brides, I knew I wanted to work with her. The bridal trial was beyond my expectations. She assessed my skin and used very high-quality skin care products to prep my face for make-up. For a moment, I thought I was at a spa getting a facial. Once we got started with the make-up, she was very systematic and involved me every step of the way. It was a perfect balance of asking for my preferences and providing suggestions based on her professional experience. I was particularly impressed with her attention to detail and creativity to enhance facial features. At the end of the trial session, Sandy gave me some important advice for a glowing skin and I religiously followed it and so glad I did! On the big day, Sandy and her work was exceptional! I never felt more pampered and beautiful. The girls were very impressed with her work and both mothers loved their make-up. Our make-up lasted all evening. I could not have asked for a better experience. I will certainly reach out to Sandy for other engagements. Thank you very much for making my wedding day so special!
