Sangamon Prarie Reception Center

We didn't end up booking with them so I can't tell you what it's like to have a wedding there. I can tell you that she clearly forgot about our appointment even though she lied and said she was just running a quick errand when I called her. She then complained about what a busy day she was having as to make me feel guilty (she picked the day and time for our appointment). Even though I asked for pricing information beforehand, she didn't give it to me until our meeting. She seemed to get annoyed whenever I stopped her to ask a question.

Paula was great to work with. The decorations were amazing, and they do all the set up and take down. They were willing to mix and match the different packages they offer to supply us exactly what we wanted. The whole staff was wonderful.

I loved the location of this hall, we were the only ones there and the parking lot was huge. Paula did an excellent job working with my mom and I to get everything set up and figured out. She provided most of the decorations. We did have to rent them, but at least we didn't have to buy them. The dance floor was a good size and the bar was awesome also. The only complaint I had was that they were sticklers with the time. We only had 7 hours in the contract and that had to include vendor set up, reception and clean up time. We ended up paying extra for another hour because we did not have enough time.
