Santa Anita Park

We had our ceremony and reception for our wedding at Santa Anita. It was such a seamless experience and had a magical ambience. We had our ceremony in front of the fountain outside and the reception in the beautiful Chandelier room. They provided most everything we needed in the package such as amazing food, drinks, tables, chairs, desert, cake, and the service was impeccable. The venue is beautiful and a unique place to photograph. We are very pleased with our experience and would recommend to anyone.

We were looking for a venue that had a vintage yet elegant look and feel. The Chandelier Room at Santa Anita Park was exactly what we were looking for. The chandeliers are beautiful. The Speakeasy is amazing. The splendor of the entire venue takes you back in time. The view of the grounds and the San Gabriel Mountains from the balcony was beautiful. It was the right choice! Our guest loved everything about the venue. We received comments on how PERFECT it was. The food was delicious. They had a grand time. The attention and frequent communication we received made the planning much easier and less stressful. The cost is reasonable compared to other venues with less personality. Extremely satisfied with Santa Anita Park!

We looked long and hard to find the right venue for our wedding. We wanted something unique and that would be memorable, Santa Anita Park definitely checked those boxes. We chose the Chandelier Room for both the ceremony and reception and it was amazing. A grand Art Deco room with a fantastic private balcony over looking the track was the perfect place for the big day. We used the speakeasy as our "green room" which made the whole process of getting ready super easy and really fun. What a special thing to be able to say that we got dressed in a speak easy at the horse races for our wedding! From the first walk through of the venue, through the various steps of narrowing down options, picking the food, wine, & cocktails, to the big day itself, Chelsea, Pamela, Mario, and Chef Paula were fantastic and made the whole process easy for us. Again, from the first walk through to our wedding day itself, the entire staff was polite, professional, courteous and very helpful. All of our vendors (flowers, photographer, DJ, and lighting teams) were given clear directions and a lot of help from the staff. Our entire wedding went smoothly and without a hitch. Many of our guests had never been to the horse races, and everyone of them loved it! We had our wedding on a race day and got to pick the name of the final race (we chose "Seth and Kevin's Race to the Altar) as well as get our picture taken with the winning horse and jockey! That was such a special moment. The Chandelier Room and the outdoor balcony connected to it was a perfect place to host this event. We invited our guests to the Park a couple of hours before the wedding and were able to watch and bet on the races, Santa Anita even provided hosts to help our guests bet on the races. After the final race they all came into the Chandelier Room's main floor for the ceremony. After the ceremony, while the wedding party and the parents popped off to get pictures taken, our guests went back up to the balconies for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres while the staff reset the room for dinner. Dinner was wonderful. Chef Paula set up food stations and we got so many compliments on her food. She and her staff did an amazing job. As they also did with the dessert tables that were set up after the meal. We then proceeded to dance the night away and have wonderful cocktails and wine. It was an event that we and all of our guests will remember, and much of that is due to Santa Anita Park and their lovely teams that helped us make our wedding such a special event. If you are looking for something different, but still want elegance, and a bit of unexpected fun, I would highly recommend Santa Anita Park.
