It made our connection with her far deeper than we had expected - once you meet her, you will feel it too. Naomi was extremely calm, organized, and so grounding; from the start of the planning process to the rehearsal to the big day, she truly set the tone and was a guiding light throughout, even quietly reminding the groom to breathe as his bride appeared, which was unexpectedly necessary! The ceremony she wrote was everything we could have hoped for and more - personal, heartfelt, and full of meaning. It felt completely “us,” as if she had known the two of us for years already! And our friends and family couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful her words were and how she created such an intimate, warm atmosphere, too. We went with her custom ceremony package, which included reflection questions, vow-writing help, marriage license guidance, and multiple meetings. Beyond having a copy of our custom ceremony, another fun keepsake we now have from working with Naomi is both of our responses to the premarital reflection questionnaires she had us complete separately, since we’re now saving our answers to read together on our one-year anniversary (we seriously can’t wait! 🥰). Naomi was listed as the preferred officiant for our venue (Waterfall Lodge & Retreat in Ben Lomond, CA), and it’s clear to see why! Having her know the venue and most of our vendors made things feel that much more seamless, which was wonderful since we’re not local to the area ourselves. She encouraged us to reflect deeper on our relationship, goals, and meaning through her discovery questionnaire and which allowed us to come up with our own vows, unique to my husband and I. Naomi gives different packages with different prices to reach every couples needs, she also calls and talks about you, she also ask questions about you and your partner which come from each of you and that was just the basic package! and she even made me not have to worry about my wedding certificate day of and sent it out after the ceremony so it made my process of that simple! and her pricing is reasonable it may seem like alot for such a short period of time but sooo worth it!!! Trust me I tried to save where I could and Im glad I didnt with this!

considered hiring a professional officiant service for my wedding-- to me, the idea seemed impersonal, "ick", and a bizzare manifestation of capitalism. But I stumbled across her website while on a deep Internet rabbit hole of stranger's weddings on the internet, and I connected with her words about ritual and ceremony (in an anthropological sense) and how to envelop these outside of organized religion, and how to bring genuine reverence to the day that has a lot of other "stuff" brought to it, and it all clicked for me. Communication and working with her was excellent. Working with her provided the emotional "homework" I knew I needed to do -- but previously didn't know how-- as I step into married life. Her vow writing guidance was invaluable. The ceremony script she prepared and delivered was personal, authentic, and the perfect tone. I had severa people tell me that ours was one of the best weddings they have ever been to, and in the same breath mention the emotional power of the ceremony and Naomi specifically-- so the credit is really hers. She also definitely knows how to keep ne calm before the wedding as well. Before I walked out to the ceremony, I was feeling these crazy feels and I started crying — omg talk about ruining my makeup already with a nervous breakdown haha! As she came into the room with me, she came up to me and calmed me down with these unique scents of the natural oil that she was wearing. She told me that these oils were the purest cleanest oil in the world and that they really helped keep us calm. She puts the oil on me and helped me calmed down. I also love how she doesn’t judge me at all! She gave such clear distinct instructions on what is it that we need to do during the ceremony, and she also tells me that it is perfect to cry and show my true feelings — so I totally bawled in front of her without any embarrassment hahahaha She was so sincere and so awesome! I know she was only with us for an hour during the wedding, but she really made me feel like I knew her for so long. Thank you so much again for everything Naomi! Naomi is not cheap and weddings are expensive. It can be hard on the budget to go from planning to have a friend officiate your wedding or from hiring somebody who will read their usual “wedding ceremony” document on your day to hiring a true ceremony professional. Choosing Naomi meant that we cut some other things out of our wedding budget and DIY’d some of what we were originally planning on hiring for. Having made those choices, I would, without a doubt, hire her again. Naomi is redefining what an officiant can and should be and she is worth every penny that she charges. Whether you make your budget bigger to accommodate her or cut costs elsewhere to prioritize your ceremony, you will not regret it. I am so glad we made the choices that we did and I would unequivocally recommend the same choice to anybody who wants a meaningful ceremony. Many guests told us that our ceremony touched them, too. One friend wrote, “That gorgeous ceremony made us feel more *alive,* more in love, so deeply moved. What a beautiful moment in the universe!” We couldn’t agree more.
