We provide professional disc jockey services for all types of events, such as weddings, corporate events, schools, Bar Mitzvahs, educational & transformational programs, anniversaries, graduations, etc. We also have a wide variety of live entertainment such as bands, string quartets, trios, soloists, pianists, harpists and many other acts. All of our professionals have 15 years plus experience!
Santana specializes in music programming, therefore, she has traveled nationwide and internationally performing World Music Events and corporate events from the most intimate parties to the White House!
We specialize in multi-cultural events and music as well. Lighting packages are available upon request and customized to each event. Event planning and room setup is also key to a successful event, and we will guide you through this process.
Santana Entertainment is completely operated by Santana Hahn, who is also a professional disc jockey and musician. hey always speak with Santana personally. We find it is better to talk to someone who actually performs for a living when requesting information and directing inquiries about special events. Each client is able to work out all the details of their event with Santana, and then the client is set up with a wedding consultation meeting with the actual disc jockey performing their event.
We always listen to what the clients wants and fulfill my promise to deliver quality services and a professional approach. I educate them on how to have a great party! Let’s face it….how many events does a client typically plan in their lifetime? They truly need the guidance of a professional to help create a most unique, fun-filled and successful event!
We don’t believe in cookie-cutter events, as each company is unique, and I strive to bring their group’s personality and style into their event! I find out the dynamics of their crowd so I can guide them on how to choose music that will create the right ambiance and an active dance floor!
We are extremely passionate about music programming and truly believe that every song matters. The music needs to be at a cocktail and dinner volume during this designated time, but it doesn’t need to be so unnoticeable that it becomes simply “white noise”. The music’s job is to enhance the event and begin to get the guests ready to dance! If the first 2 hours of a event is the “invisible background music”, then you haven’t moved your audience, and the audience is their guests. We always do what the couple requests, so if they should request light background music, then we will do whatever they ask, as our philosophy has always been, “It’s your day, and it’s your way”!
It is also a must that we have backup sound systems, and I’m always prepared with two full backup setups beyond the sound system set up for the event!
Finally, we believe how we show up at our events is so important! If you’re passionate about what you do, it reflects in our work!

songs, and how best to help people have the most fun and wanting more, but she was also able to give us specific suggestions for the best layout for where to have the dance floor, where to position the DJ station, where to have the bride and groom, and the reasons why. Her platform is exceptionally professional with a list of songs to choose from that you can listen to, a way to differentiate what are must plays vs. play if you can. Then she has lists of song suggestions for processional, recessional, introduction, first dance, cake cutting etc in case if you need help. Her Timeline is easy to make and adjust. My wedding run of the day person complimented the layout for the tables/floor we chose based on Santana's suggestions. 2 weeks before the wedding the venue allowed us access to a larger patio to have the ceremony and Santana was able to have an entirely separate set up for the wedding ceremony there, and sound for the cocktail room and then be ready to go for the reception itself. My now husband hates to dance. When Santana asked me what percentage of my group would dance, I said "50%", my hubby laughed and said we wouldn't get that much. The dance floor was packed all night, even my husband was on the floor quite a bit, and so many people came up to compliment us on the music. I highly recommend Santana, she will take great care of you and all your needs!

Every other call with her across the next year played out the same way. She is an absolute joy to work with.
Her high level of care and attention to detail shined throughout the wedding day. She worked hand in glove with our officiant to stage manage the ceremony to perfection. Santana then had folks dancing during cocktail hour, while they were serving the salads and all through the evening. Our friends and families agreed that she was the best DJ anyone has ever heard. We have already referred her to friends getting married in 2023.

Santana utilizes a website that lets you enter all your information - wedding party, agenda, etc... - so everything is in one spot. She helped us organize our entire day which was great for us because we never thought of all the different things we needed to consider. One of the best parts of the website was the list of most popular wedding songs and you can create "must play" "play if there's time" and "absolutely do not play" lists to ensure you have the wedding you want. I think what we appreciated most about Santana was her expertise paired with her flexibility. She repeatedly told us it was our day and she would do whatever we wanted - and she meant it. But she also had a ton of ideas and recommendations from her experience and these were so helpful. Our wedding was awesome because she did such a great job. When our guests seemed shy to get out on the dance floor, she asked us if she could do a couple's dance to get people dancing - and it worked! From then on the dance floor was packed. She played a great selection of music and paired our playlist with songs our guests requested and songs she could tell people would like. If a song seemed to garner a lukewarm response, she'd end it quickly and go to another. And when songs really got everyone excited, she would try and play more like that one. Santana checked in with us before the night ended and gave us big hugs. So I'm not just saying it, from beginning - the planning - to the end, Santana was a dream to work with. Grace Seaplane Base. For this reason, I can't really just say Santana was our dj; she was a wedding planner! Santana was EXCITED to be a part of a brand new venue, even when there were many questions up in the air and things to be decided. Santana was calm, flexible, but yet decisive in advocating for what we needed to have the best wedding reception ever! From the very beginning, Santana made it clear that she cared for my husband and I as a wedding couple. She gave us time to make a decision about hiring her (it's a big one!) then supported us every step of the way once we did! Santana even came out to the venue prior to the big day to meet me, but also see the space. There was a lot of work still to be done, but Santana was positive and gave great ideas for how to best incorporate the music into the space!
