earch we came across Sara Dance studio and specifically we found a dance teacher - Iya, who gives private lessons at Sara Dance studio. We started our dancing lessons back in January 2023 and it was an amazing and fun experience. Iya is the best dance teacher you can ask for. She is very attentive to detail, to your wishes and likes. She listens very carefully to your ideas and visions and custom creates a dance combination just for you. She goes above and beyond when she teaches. She truly cares about your success. She put together a very beautiful wedding dance for us, all the guests were wowed. Not only Iya will help you put your dance together but she will go above and beyond and help you pick a dance dress, dance shoes etc if you tell her that is something you would like to do. In addition, Iya goes above and beyond to try to match your schedule needs to the best of her ability. Overall we had an amazing experience learning our wedding dance with Iya and will be going back for more fun private lessons to learn some social dances.

having quiet and private floor time in Sara Dance Center on most occasions for our lessons. My wife and I had never really had any formal dance training/lessons before. When we decided to choreograph our first dance for our wedding, it was nerve-wracking to be honest. Iya was able to set our mind at ease, literally taking us by the hand, and progressing through parts of our dance in easy-to-digest sections. We put in the practice time at home, which is necessary to feel like you're not overthinking during the performance. This was critical, because when our DJ accidentally cut our song short, I was able to cue him to keep it going, and we carried on without a hitch. Everyone thought it was beautiful, and it is something we are so happy and proud we did on our special day. Iya is simply fantastic, and you should look no further when looking for your wedding dance instructor/choreographer. We can't wait to take other classes with Iya in the near future!! Ia began dancing at age 6 in her homeland country Georgia. She has her Bachelor's Degree from The Georgian Academy of Sports. She was trained in Folk, Jazz, and Ballet. But her heart belonged to Ballroom. She loves the elegance and beauty of it and devoted her career to Ballroom dancing and teaching. Ia takes her vast experience to help couples create a memory that will last a lifetime. She will build confidence, charm, and grace for the first dance through her skillful teaching and easygoing manner. She works with couples, father/daughter, mother/son, groups, and anyway that brings the wow!
