Sara and her team were excellent! I searched my area for hair and makeup and her photos were so impressive I had to see for myself. I loved my results for my trial run and put my deposit down ASAP. Her and her team showed up right on time for my wedding day. My wedding party was super impressed and everyone looked absolutely stunning! Stop searching and book her for your wedding, she is the best!

She was absolutely fantastic! She always returned my texts/calls in a timely fashion and was always open to new ideas I had running in my head. She was punctual and my bridesmaids also adored her. Highly recommend!!!!! She made me feel like a queen on my special day and people are STILL asking me who did my hair/makeup! She will definitely be doing it for me for any event I have!!!!!

Sara is so incredibly patient, especially with my mother, and myself!! We’re not big makeup gals, but Sara was able to keep it minimalistic, yet so beautiful and she’s truly an artist! Love her and would recommend her to any bride!

Sara was so incredibly talented! She did hair and makeup for myself and 4 of my bridesmaids on my wedding day. I got married in July in Alabama, and my makeup did not budge a bit throughout the day. I received so many compliments on my hair and makeup. All of my bridesmaids looked gorgeous!

Sara was a dream to work with. First of all, her work is amazing. Every time I clicked on a photo during instagram searches because I liked the makeup, it was Sara’s work!! She uses high quality products, helps you figure out how to best prep your skin, and really highlights your favorite features. Also when I asked for a slightly different color, so mixed some up and let me help her decide exactly what I wanted. She’s super easy to communicate with about makeup, PLUS she has such an easy going and calming nature that you won’t feel awkward with her. She’s just an amazing person on top of her artistry, and we’ve even become friends through this! Even my mother in law, who doesn’t like people doing her makeup, felt so relaxed with Sara that she commented on it during the process. Also, as a curly bride who wanted to wear her natural curls and couldn’t find an image online of what I wanted, Sara achieved what I wanted after I just gestured and vaguely explained it. She gets it!! And I’m super picky, so anyway, definitely choose Sara!

Sara is an absolute dream to work with!!! When we met for my trial, I told her I trusted her and let her do her own thing with my makeup. Obviously, she nailed it. I have only ever had my makeup done professionally a handful of times, so you’re always kind of nervous going into it. But when I walked away from my trial, I had never felt better about myself! Come wedding day, I decided to change my hair up from what we did at the trial and she completely understood what look I wanted to do. Sara & her assistant made every single one of my bridesmaids look like movie stars! She is so sweet to work with and is truly an amazing person! You will not regret booking with Sara - you will 100% want to be her friend in real life after your wedding day!

Sara is so much more than a makeup artist! She truly takes the time to learn her clients wants and needs and backstories and just truly makes your day so special and beautiful! I’ve never met a more wholesome beautiful person inside and out and can’t thank her enough or recommend her enough for the amazing services she and her staff offer!

Sara in a nutshell was just the best! From our initial phone meeting, to my trial, to my wedding day! She was very easy to talk to and get along with, when we met in person I felt like I had know her for years. The communication was great with Sara and her contract is very straightforward and easy to understand. There were no out of the ordinary rules or requests in her contract, just normal request from a business owner. Now to her talent… Sara has an eye for makeup and she can do anything you request just from seeing a picture or two and just a few questions. I told her I didn’t want super glam and kind of natural and she did just that! I was throughly happy with the outcome and I would recommend her to any bride looking for a PROFESSIONAL!

I highly do NOT recommend Sara. She did my engagement picture hair/makeup and I was told it would only take 1.5 hours, and it took almost 3 hours and I was late to my photos and I wasn't happy with my makeup. In my opinion, I did not have a pleasurable experience with Sara before, during, and after using her. I would highly recommend to use someone else.

Sara and her girls did a FABULOUS job of making my hair/ make up goals for my wedding day come to life. She listened to all of my ideas and truly made me feel beautiful on my big day. On the day of the wedding my bridesmaids (6 girls total), myself, and my mom got our hair and make up done. The girls working alongside Sara were willing to make any adjustments that my bridesmaids requested and were able to do quick touch ups right before everyone got dressed. I loved how she provided us with touch up lipsticks as well to ensure that we had a flawless look all night long. I highly recommend Sara to anyone for hair/make up needs!

Sara is very talented and passionate about her work, very sweet and have enjoyed professional relationship as well as personal friendship aside from using her on our wedding day! Sara listens to your vision as a bride and uses top of the line, clean, high quality brushes and makeup. Sara is up to date on current makeup trends and hairstyles, and one of my favorite things about using Sara for my wedding was learning how to barrel roll curl my hair doing it the same way she did to make curls with extra volume and staying power! This for me made the investment worth it because I got to learn a beauty skill/trick that I now use all the time to curl my hair. Sara did two trial runs on me before my wedding, which was great because I really wasn't sure if I wanted to do my hair up or down, and we went with more brown toned eyes one day and more purple tones the other day. I went with hair up on my actual wedding day which I definitely recommend. Only reason 4/5 for me is while I loved my hair for my wedding, the style of the actual bun was different from my trial run for my wedding day. Really wanted a neat curled modern knot style up do which Sara did so well during my trial, it looked exactly as I envisioned! On wedding day still had a very neat bun, but the style was twisted up and pinned instead of curled big knot style loops like the trial day. I mentioned it didn't look quite like the trial day, and did bring pictures from how we had previously done it, and after some fixing I decided I didn't want to further mess with it and was ok with the different style even though not exactly what I wanted. This wasn't a big deal for me, I had a veil and it still looked very nice! From a vibe and experience standpoint I really enjoyed conversation with Sara and her stylists, and we had fun getting ready wedding day morning! She is an extremely sweet and genuine person, very passionate about her job and business!

Sara is the BEST. I have never felt so beautiful in my entire life as I did on my wedding day. She listened to all of my ideas and concerns and definitely kept them in mind. I would recommend her to anyone needing hair and makeup done! Also, all of my bridesmaids and my mom looked incredible.

Sara was absolutely amazing to work with throughout the entire wedding process. Selecting someone to do my hair & makeup was definitely one of the more challenging aspects, but Sara came in and worked complete magic. Not only was she professional, but she made me feel so confident and beautiful on my wedding day! ❤️

I moved to Mass and planned my wedding in Alabama and Sara was amazing and anytime I needed something she was always there for me! She accommodated me every time I was in the state and needed her time. Day of she made me feel so beautiful and was such a joy to be around. She was so kind to my family and made sure we were happy and comfortable. Cannot recommend her enough!!

Wow just WOW !!!!! I could not express the joy I had when I looked in the mirror after Sara and her team did their thing . She is the sweetest and was very patient with us with all the commotion going on outside the our room. Don’t think about it just hire her you won’t regret it I also changed my mind about my hair and makeup a few times during my trial run and each time I did, Sara was so flexible and patient about it. Our trial run went over an hour than scheduled and she really made sure I was 100% satisfied before I left. Thank you Sara !!

I feel the need to write this review to save future brides from booking with Sara. I never thought I would have such major issues with a vendor until I booked (and fired) Sara. About a year before my wedding, I reached out to her regarding her services and she promptly responded the next day. Shortly thereafter, I sent the deposit over. It was my mistake to not sign a contract before sending the deposit. I realized that I hadn't signed a contract and emailed her asking to send it over to me. On June 4, I sent the deposit. I asked for the contract on June 4 and she said she was on vacation and would send it when she was back home. After a few days, I knew she was back home because I followed her on Instagram and saw her stories of her being back in the Birmingham area. I emailed her again on June 11 and received no response until June 16, when I told her I was feeling very nervous about her lack of communication. She sent over the contract and said, "I promise you I have your back and will make sure you feel zero stress from me moving forward." About a month later, I emailed her on July 13 about a few edits I needed to make to the contract. No response. I emailed again on July 19. No response. I emailed again on July 26. Finally a response on July 30. At this point, I was already nervous about having her do my wedding makeup because of the slow communication that only happened when I stayed on her about getting back to me. Now we get to the worst part. I emailed her on January 17, 2023 asking to set up my trial. This was 95 days before my wedding. On January 20th, she and I emailed back and forth...92 days before my wedding. She stopped responding at this point. 9 days passed with no response and I decided that I needed to fire her. The consistent lack of communication was too stressful for me and I'd recently found out that this was a trend for Sara. I looped in my planner and sent over a message saying that I was aware the deposit was nonrefundable and I wanted to void the rest of the contract in order to hire someone else. This is with 83 days left until my wedding. No response. My planner reached out 2 days later asking Sara to acknowledge the message. Sara responds very apologetically, saying she will work on communication in the future with other clients. But wait.....there's more. A few hours later, with 81 days left until my wedding, Sara texts me and my planner saying that I actually owe her $1,020 because I cancelled the contract less than 90 days before my wedding (a policy that she claimed was in the contract). I read over my contract and...there's no such policy. I send it over to my planner and Sara, pointing out that there's a policy that says I can't take away services 60 days before the wedding. There wasn't even a policy stating that I owe the full balance within 60 days. Sara then admits she is wrong and that her NEW contract states that. She didn't even bother looking at MY contract before asking for $1,020. Know your contracts, ladies and gents!!! Editing to add: After posting my review, Sara quickly reached out to me. She apologized for everything that transpired and offered my deposit back. She asked me to revise my review to include this latest update.

Hannah did my groups hair and makeup and did a fantastic job! I cannot imagine my big day without her help! Don’t hesitate to book her right away!!!

Sara is an INCREDIBLE makeup artist and made me feel so beautiful on my special day! She's one of the sweetest people and will do whatever she can to make you feel confident!

Beautiful bridal makeup, just what I asked for.

I had a 1920's inspired wedding. At the trial-run I asked for an up do with finger waves. She nailed it. But after seeing it I wanted a more modern up-do and more browns than pink on my makeup. And on my wedding day she delivered. I truly felt beautiful.

5 stars is not even enough for this review. Sara killed my wedding day look perfectly. The compliments I got were endless. Her and Hannah did a great job and stayed focused even during all the chaos. I never felt more beautiful than how she made me look and feel. She is the sweetest and easiest person to work with by far. She referred me to my bartender also who knocked it out of the park all night. She was worth every penny and I would definitely book with her again any day!!

It’s already obvious but Sara is amazing at what she does!! Not only that but she saved my wedding LOL! It started out with only a couple girls wanting their hair done to ALL! Instead of simply saying I don’t have the time I’m sorry. She looked at me and said I’ll get it done! And she sure did!! And, I’m sorry but her prices are the best you’ll find! Especially for the work she does! So, don’t even think twice just go ahead and book her!!!

I’m not even sure if I can put into words how much I loved working with Sara but I’m going to do my best! From the start Sara was a pleasure to work with. She was so easy to communicate with. I knew after our trial make up run that it was a blessing I ran across her! I immediately felt like I was working with a trusted friend! On the wedding day I looked and felt like and absolute goddess! She treated all my friends and family the same way. We had such a great time getting ready with her! It was like having another bridesmaid hyping us all up. Out of all my vendors she was the one every woman wanted her contact information immediately. She’s a professional and I really can’t recommend her enough. She brought so much good energy in that nerve racking pre-wedding time that I so desperately needed. Definitely my absolute favorite person I worked with.

Sara was absolutely amazing! I had my makeup trial and told her I wanted a very natural look! She gave me a little more than I wanted but she heard my feedback and she DELIVERED on our wedding day. She made me feel confident, beautiful, and myself. You can stop looking for a MUA because she's your girl. Lastly, my personal favorite.... she's just a real person and cares about you. I'm so glad I met you Sara!!

She is truly the best! We booked her for my hair and makeup on my wedding day. She also brought her very professional team with her help her work on my bridesmaids and other female family members. Everyone turned out beautiful and we really enjoyed having her there for us. Definitely would recommend!

I hired Sara to be the MUA for my wedding in October of 2021, and it was one of the BEST decisions! Sara arrived at the venue early and ready to get down to business! She stayed busy all day, while keeping to schedule and she absolutely nailed our makeup! I cannot say enough good things about Sara. She is super talented, and knows her products extremely well. She knows how to flawlessly execute every makeup trend one could possibly want. She has a wonderful eye for color, respectfully listens to any and all requests while providing helpful suggestions, and she possesses a calm, collected, positive, stress-free attitude while she works. She made me feel gorgeous on my special day. Additionally, she made my girls look and feel drop dead gorgeous! I would highly recommend Sara!

Sara was amazing and I am so fortunate I had her for my wedding. She listened to the goals I had for the look and style I wanted to achieve. But she also went a step further and guided me and built my trust so that I felt like I could totally rely on her skills for my big day. It is so important to have a makeup artist on your wedding day that you are confident in, and I felt like I could just totally let go of any worries related to my hair and makeup because of her. She’s a cool chick too so that made it all the better to have someone I could talk with. I felt like I was there with a friend which is what you want on such a fast paced day. Her work was stunning, just stunning. Trust me once she does your hair and makeup you will want to hire her for every event!! I would recommend her to any Bride hands down, no question. She actually cared about my wedding day and ended up jumping in to help out with one of my male friends that was involved in my wedding. She didn’t have to do that but she did it because she cared. I could go on and on but to keep this brief, I just want to thank Sara for all she did (because there was a lot) and I want to publicly support her makeup artistry because she deserves it.

Sara did my hair and makeup for my wedding and I honestly have never felt so beautiful before in my entire life as I did that day! She did an amazing job and made me feel like I was just hanging out with one of the girl’s getting my hair and makeup done. She is very professional, but super sweet and easy to talk you. Sara and her team made us feel so beautiful! My bridal party and I have received compliments on hair and makeup since the wedding night. They were timely from start to finish & stayed on schedule. I originally messaged Sara after seeing her beautiful work on Facebook and felt like nothing else I saw compared, and I was so excited when she was open on my day. Cost was reasonable and worth every penny. I felt exceptionally beautiful and so did my daughter, groom’s mother, and bridesmaids.

I couldn’t have possibly been happier with Sara’s work. Sara Elizabeth is the best make up artist I’ve ever used! She was on time, professional and knew exactly what look was going to best for my aesthetic for my wedding! I will hire her for any and all future make up needs!!!

I can't praise Sara enough! She was spot on with everything I wanted and photos don't do justice to her work in person. Even my bridesmaids looked amazing, everyone looked AMAZING. She was professional, easy to communicate with and so super sweet! Sara is who you want on your wedding day.
