Sara did makeup for me and my bridesmaids and she was truly amazing!! I loved my look and it lasted all night through the sweat and tears. She really listened to what I wanted and went above and beyond to deliver. On top of that, she and Laura are the sweetest people and made the getting ready process so relaxing and fun! AMAZING - Sara is such a genuine and kind person. She listens to what you want and is very flexible with any changes you want to make. All 6 of my bridesmaids were SO happy with their hair on my big day - no adjustments or changes needed to be made because Sara listens to what you'd like and executes the style to perfection! Sara and Laura were AMAZING. From the second I booked them through the end of my wedding it was perfection. They took their time to get to know me and what I wanted and were super open to feedback, which was barely needed because they really know what they are doing. My make up lasted until our the end of our after party and my hair didn't move once. They are so skilled and SO KIND. They made getting ready so fun, it was like they were 2 more of my bridesmaids. I was so blown away with how well thy were able to adjust to each of us on the spot and know what would work and what wouldn't. My wedding was this weekend and I used Sara Julianna for hair and makeup. Her and her team were incredible to work with and really brought my vision to life. Sara provided an excellent makeup service for my wedding in October! She was so easy to hangout with and provided flawless and natural looking styles for myself, my girls, my mother in law and step mother. Everyone was very happy with their looks! Sara was totally cool with wearing some shadow colors from my personal makeup which really made me feel my best. I had a great makeup trial with her months prior to my wedding, I knew exactly the few changes I wanted to make for my big day and Sara delivered! I'm so thankful that my wedding planner found her!

As someone who wears minimal makeup and rarely styles her hair, I was nervous about finding a stylist for my wedding who would understand me. As soon as I saw Sara’s page and spoke to her, I knew she was the right choice. When I came in for my trial, she made me so comfortable and asked me questions about how I typically style my makeup, what I liked/didn’t like, etc. Since I don’t have much knowledge in that area, she really helped guide me and adjusted the process based on my feedback. When she was finished, I had never felt more beautiful. Her hairstylist Laura was just as fun and calming, listening to feedback and making suggestions on what I may like. The day of the wedding was no different, and we had a great time chatting while all of the bridesmaids were getting their hair and makeup done. They both did an absolutely amazing job, not only with myself, but all of my bridesmaids. The next time I have a major event, I will definitely be reaching back out!

I had an amazing experience with Sara Julianna Beauty. I not only used Sara for my wedding, but also my engagement photos, bridal shower and rehearsal dinner. Sara and her team were organized from start to finish. We recently had Sarah provide makeup for 3 individuals including the bride. Our situation was a little different than most because our daughter Caitlin the bride had an intellectual disability. Sara was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we met at the makeup trial, she made Caitlin feel so special. She listened to exactly how she wanted her makeup done. Caitlin’s doesn’t normally wear makeup but she put her trust in Sara and she was stunning on her wedding day. In fact, the makeup lasted the entire evening. We all loved the way our makeup was done and we looked beautiful. One of the guests said she knew I had makeup on but I really still looked like myself. We received compliments all night. I don’t know if I can ever fully express how wonderful Sara is. She is one of God’s angels. Don’t hesitate calling her to have your makeup done for your wedding day or any other special occasion.

I am sooo incredibly glad I booked Sara Julianna Beauty for my wedding hair and make up!!! I had a great experience from my first inquiry to the second Sara and Laura sent me off to my wedding looking amazing! I was originally drawn to Sara Julianna because I am not a huge make up-wearer and I was definitely going for a more natural look. It was the perfect fit. I looked like an elevated version of myself. During my trial I got to spend some quality time with Sara and Laura- they are so friendly, personable, and organized! They even gave me tips on how I can prepare my hair and skin in the weeks leading up to my wedding. On the big day there were 10 of us who needed our hair and make up done (7 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and myself)- Sara sent me a fully organized schedule ahead of time, which put my chaotic wedding brain at ease. Sara and her team were absolutely a DREAM to work with. All of my bridesmaids and myself looks flawless, they came in, did hair and makeup for 10 girls in no time , and we all had a blast together! My trial with Sara was phenomenal she worked with me to get an understanding of what I liked , didn't like, and even showed me two different hairstyles that I was considering. Sara, Laura, and Dominique were super friendly and lovely to work with. My makeup look was exactly as I asked, and Sara provided recommendations and assistance for how to get my skin (sensitive and undergoing acne treatment) appropriately moisturized and exfoliated for the big day! Laura did an amazing job with my braid, somehow managing to make my hair look way more voluminous than it actually is without extensions. Not only were they super talented, but they were a lot of fun to have around and the entire wedding party was glad to have them day-of!

Sara was incredible! I came in with absolutely no ideas what to do, just told her a quick idea, and she made it come true! My makeup was subtle and beautiful. Sara and her colleague Laura made me, my family, and my bridesmaids so comfortable and were a hilarious addition to our morning getting ready. I would absolutely book her again!

Sara and her assistant on our day, Kirstie, did an absolutely incredible job. I did multiple trials, changed my mind, and switched things up soo many times and Sara was flexible throughout the entire process. I could not have been happier to have Sara do my hair for my wedding. From beginning to end between texts, inspo pics, 2 trials and my wedding day, she was absolutely amazing! She was wonderful to work with–from our first initial email conversation, to the trials, to the actual wedding day. During my hair and makeup trial, Sara listened to exactly what I wanted for makeup (a natural look) and tried out two different styles for my hair. During the weeks leading up to the wedding, Sara created a detailed schedule for my group of 10 ladies. On the morning of the wedding, she and her team created such a calm and fun environment. RUN don’t walk to book Sara for your wedding day hair and makeup!! Sara was the first vendor I booked for my wedding. She had done my cousins hair and make up for her wedding so when it came to be my time, it made my decision 10x easier and I’m so happy I did. She is not only an incredible person but so unbelievably talented. She truly feels like a friend, is easy to talk to and hang out with which is super important because you’re with eachother for the whole first half our your wedding day. My mom, MIL, and I did our hair and make up trial with Sara and were very pleased. If there was anything that you wanted tweaked or wasn’t fully satisfied with; she jotted down notes, listened to what you wanted and then delivered! She was so easy to work with all throughout the process which alleviates so much of the other stress that comes with being a bride. Her and her team arrived on time the day of the wedding, we’re extremely professional, and just fun to hangout with! Again, it was just like hanging out with girlfriends (can’t stress how important this is). All of my girls/family members that got services were beyond happy with the results. Laura and Sara are the best hair and makeup duo. Laura did hair and Sara did makeup for myself and my wedding party.They are both absolutely AMAZING. Laura and Sara are both very responsive, kind, fun, professional, and knowledgeable. For makeup, I wanted natural but elegant. It was important that I still looked like myself. Sara did exactly this - my makeup was perfect and it lasted all night long. I had so many compliments! My makeup still looked perfect the next morning! Not only are Laura and Sara amazing at what they do, but they were so fun to have as a part of my wedding day! We had so much fun getting ready with them and they really made the long getting ready process so enjoyable. I have also been in wedding parties as a bridesmaid with Laura and Sara as our Hair and Makeup team and they continue to be amazing! Sara was absolutely amazing to work with! Very communicative, kind and of course super talented. My wedding day ended up being close to 90 degrees and pictures were outside. My makeup stayed the entire day and night and Sara even gave me extra lipstick and some matte powder to use throughout the day. The moms and bridesmaids looked amazing. She was also VERY patient and accommodating to the entire bridal party. Would definitely recommend her and her counterpart Laura (for hair) for your wedding!

I can not thank Sara and her colleagues (Laura, Cait, and Whitney) for their part in my special day! From the first consultation meeting Sara made me feel comfortable. Then fast forward to my trial with my mom and Mother in law. Sara spent a lot of time discussing what we want and was very patient with us. She made changes on the fly and didn’t stop until we were happy. She is very organized and creates a schedule which made the morning flow seamlessly. Day of my mother in law decided she wanted something different from her trial, and Sara was able to execute exactly what she wanted and was able to recreate mine and my moms look from our trial. She uses high end products that didn’t make me feel sticky or Cakey. I truly felt so beautiful. Her team also was magical and was able to create the look each of my bridesmaids wanted, from a more natural look to full on glam. My entire party was very happy with the results. I highly recommend Sara and hope I can work with her again in the future because I had such a great experience!

I just cannot recommend Sara enough! I am so happy that I booked her for my wedding hair. As a curly bride, I was so nervous about finding the right person. Sara did an absolutely beautiful job with my hair. I loved it so much. I wish she could do my hair everyday. It stayed throughout the whole day and night and did not get frizzy which was a first for me. My mom and bridesmaids also loved their hair which was important to me. Sara made me comfortable from day one. She is prompt with responses and answering the 100 questions I had. She was reassuring and supportive when we had to postpone a year due to the shut down. Everything was laid out and clear cut and incredibly organized which for me, an anxious and neurotic planner was exactly what I needed to remain calm. While these things are very important to stressed out brides, what really makes the difference is how easy it is to get along and talk to Sara and her team. From my first consultation to the day of the wedding Sara and her team (we had Amanda- Amazing!) were positive, enthusiastic, and real. They fit in with my bridal party so well that there was never a dull or awkward moment. We had a great time chatting while getting glammed up. Sara and Amanda were stellar in making sure we knew the lengths they went to to make sure things were clean and sanitized and to talk through tips, tricks, and ideas for each of my bridesmaids. Everyone looked amazing for the entire day, not a loose hair style or smudged make up to be seen. I could go on and on but it comes down to the simple fact that you cannot go wrong with choosing Sara for your hair and make up!

Sara was legitly the best makeup artist that I've ever worked with. I am the type of person that does not wear a lot of makeup, but she really did a great job with my makeup. I can’t say enough amazing things about Sara and the girls, Dominique and Cait, who came to glam up my five bridesmaids, mother and I. Firstly, the trails with Sara went smoothly and it was a easy choice as we planned to do the trails the day of my engagement shoot. Hair and makeup came out so great in the engagement photos and lasted all day that I knew I had to book Sara ASAP! Then, Covid happened. Plans changed and had to postpone the wedding twice. Luckily, I was lucky to rebook with Sara who was so accommodating to the changes and patient while we received more info leading up to it and changed up my hairstyle ideas (cause when you have a lot of time, new ideas come with it lol). Day of the wedding, all three ladies were on time and ready to go! They set up in almost no time and had us all done just in time. Sara has shared a schedule with me that I shared with my girls and it was so helpful. Definitely kept us on track! And before leaving, they did final touch ups and made sure we were perfect. During the ceremony, it did end up raining unexpectedly for 10 minutes or less. And although my curls fell out a little from that and just sweat (it was a hot June day and I love to dance lol) everyone’s hair and makeup still looked good! We all checked each other and couldn’t believe how put together everything was! The wedding photos really don’t do justice with how good everything came out and how well it stood with the rain and dancing. I’m so happy Sara was my first choice as she’s amazingly talented and one of the sweetest souls I’ve ever meet truly! If you haven’t considered reaching out to Sara already, I’d highly consider it. Sara was INCREDIBLE for many reasons. She was always available in helping us during the Covid-19 pandemic chaotic rescheduling. She also came to my house to give me and my daughter (the bride) a trial of hair and makeup and introduced a lot of her favorite products and took any questions we had and shared her opinions on all her products. She took notes!! She was so personable that we adored her immediately! On the morning of the wedding she showed up at my house at the earliest hour of 5:30 a.m. with a fabulous crew of young ladies to help the bridal party gals. Sara was INCREDIBLE. Everything from the trial to the wedding day went absolutely perfect! Not only is she a friendly bubbly awesome person to work with but she does great work! Before we met Sara we had had a previous bridal trial that went terrible. I definitely didn’t have high hopes going into it. I showed Sarah a couple photos and she literally did exactly what I wanted if not better than the photo I showed her! The day of the wedding everyone was extremely attentive and energetic which made getting ready at 6 AM a lot better! I am SO happy I chose Sara and her team for my wedding on 7/31/21. She and her other artists are all so sweet and so accommodating to each of my 12 (!!!) girl's requests. I did a trial with Sara and loved what we settled on for hair and makeup, and then I completely switched it up the morning of my wedding and Sara had no problem with making my new look happen. It was PERFECT... natural looking yet I felt so beautiful for my day and my husband (!!) loved it too. All of my girls looked natural and stunning as well. Sara Julianna was the absolute best. From the minute I called her in January of 2021 (frantic about the pandemic/wondering if/how we'd have a wedding), she was calm, kind and professional. We talked through all the details and she totally put my mind at ease. My mom, maid of honor and I did a trial at her New York studio and were so impressed by her patience and dedication to giving us the perfect look. I have naturally curly hair and was set on embracing the curls. She made my vision even better than what I could have imagined. The morning of the wedding, I had 9 bridesmaids, 2 moms, an aunt and a grandma all get hair/make up. The Best!! Sara did my hair and my bridal party's hair for my wedding on 5/15/21 and she was amazing!! From the moment I met Sara at my hair trial I knew she totally understood what I wanted on my big day! Everyone's hair came out perfectly -- exactly like the photos everyone showed Sara for inspiration! Our hair stayed beautiful all night (after lots and lots of dancing!) and my bridal party and I loved hanging out with Sara the morning of the wedding! Selecting the right hair and makeup team for a wedding is even more important than I realized when I was helping to plan my daughter’s wedding. Of course you want the bride and her wedding party to look beautiful, to have a look that is as special as the day. However, I hadn’t really thought about the fact that the bridal party spends hours with this team on the day of the wedding. So these stylists contribute significantly to the day’s atmosphere. Sara Julianna and the two stylists who joined her to do hair and makeup for my daughter’s wedding helped to make the day a joyous one for all of us. They were very skilled at their craft. My daughter and her attendants (and I) were thrilled with the results. But Sara Julianna contributed in other ways as well. She and her colleagues were gracious, relaxed, enthusiastic, and professional. They shared in the excitement of the day. Sara Julianna prepared a schedule in advance of the day, arrived right on time and worked non-stop for about six hours. Every time we look at the photos from the day, we are reminded of all they contributed to this special event. I am pleased to offer high praise for Sara Julianna and her team.

Sara did the hair and make up for my wedding back in October. Sara was hands down my favorite vendor from my wedding. I had done a few trials with other hair and makeup artists beforehand and I was so impressed by my first trial with Sara I booked her on the spot! She’s incredibly talented, she understood exactly what I had in mind and was completely open to having multiple trials when I couldn’t decide if I wanted my hair up or down. She did a trial for each so that I could see both and then decide! I had a huge wedding party with 12 bridesmaids and Sara did a fantastic job of making a schedule for the morning of and bringing in enough hair and makeup artists to make sure everything ran smoothly. The morning went off like clockwork! Sara also made me feel incredibly comfortable through all of my trials and the morning of my wedding. She is so sweet and friendly. I can not recommend Sara enough. My goal was to have a natural bridal look and she did a perfect job of making me look absolutely beautiful while still looking like myself. I am so glad I went with Sara for my bridal hair and makeup!

Sara was my hairstylist for my wedding on 11/1. From our first email correspondence, she was incredibly responsive, friendly, and professional. She spent hours with me on my trial and didn’t bat an eye when I requested a second trial (I decided to go a different direction with my hair than I originally planned). She had hair pieces for me to try and made recommendations on styles / hair pieces / all things wedding that I sincerely appreciated. Sara was absolutely amazing as my wedding makeup artist and hair stylist! During my trial, she patiently dealt with me changing my mind 100s of times and being extremely particular to small details. She helped me visualize things that I couldn’t see in my own head but knew that I wanted. Come wedding day, she even arrived before me and dealt with al the craziness that came with arrival. She and her partner made me and my bridesmaids look absolutely stunning. The choice of airbrush and traditional makeup made my girls feel at ease, and they were extremely conforming with last minute changes. I promised that we would not have any people ask to be squeezed in day of, yet that didn’t happen, and even a groomsman got squeezed in and Sara and her partner didn’t even blink an eye. They were AMAZING! While I stressed over getting ready for photos and not being seen by my fiancé, Sara packed up quietly, and even left me her lipgloss that I loved. All in all, I was so picky with beauty for my wedding, and I could not have gone with anyone but Sara! She is amazing! I cannot wait to see my pictures!

Sara was incredible to work with. I wear little to no makeup pretty much ever, and always feel self conscious wearing too much. I've also had some bad experiences for friends weddings, when I've looked like a clown. Sara was wonderful. She listened to all my ideas, studied all my pins on pinterest, and tailored her art exactly to my liking- I wanted to be as natural as possible. I am positive I was extremely annoying to work with, and she was charming and lovely to spend a few hours with. I simply can not say enough wonderful things about Sara! I am not one who jumps around to have people to do my hair and such. I stick to one person and was a bit nervous not having someone I was familiar with doing my hair and make up on the most important day to look my best. I am beyond thrilled to have worked with Sara! My original hair stylist found out she was pregnant, and recommended Sara to me. To be honest, it was the best “happy accident” I could have asked for. Sara is not only very friendly and professional, but clearly talented. She made me feel so beautiful on my wedding! I also need to say, I am someone who is weirdly afraid of getting burned by hot tools but Sara has the lightest touch, I didn’t even notice when she was curling my hair- which is huge, because it showed how trusting I felt around her. Normally I break out into sweat thinking the stylist is going to knick my ears (Its an extremely irrational fear, I know) but not with Sara. So if you want to look and feel beautiful, hire Sara. If you (like me) get nervous about getting your hair styled, hire Sara. Her calming and friendly presence is so important to any bride on the day of your wedding (or any event, really) that she is a must hire. At the end of the day, she feels like one your best friends that you’re hanging out with, while she is making you look beautiful.
