hat. She gave us an incredible list of trusted vendors to help us get started, and once we got to the month before the wedding, she completely took over. She thought of things I never would’ve thought about, kept everyone on schedule, handled every little detail behind the scenes, and somehow made everything look effortless.
Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and I know that’s because of her. The timeline was flawless, every vendor knew exactly what they were doing, and everything happened exactly when it was supposed to. I never once had to wonder what was next or worry if something was getting done because Sara already had it handled.
The biggest gift she gave us was letting us actually enjoy our wedding day. Instead of answering questions or putting out fires, we got to be fully present with our family and friends and soak in every moment.
If you’re on the fence about hiring a coordinator, don’t be. If you’re lucky enough to book Sara Lasher Weddings & Events, do it. She is worth every single penny and then some. She is a 10 out of 10 in every way—organized, professional, and truly passionate about what she does. She was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and I cannot recommend her enough. Sara thinks through every detail, no matter how small, and makes sure everything is thoughtfully planned. She is exceptionally organized, communicates clearly and consistently, and brings a sense of calm to what can often feel like a whirlwind. Even with the best planning and coordination, weddings are naturally stressful for the bride, groom, and their families, but Sara has a way of making everything feel extremely manageable.
If there’s one piece of advice I would give any bride, it’s to simply meet with Sara. You don’t have to commit immediately, but I can confidently say that one conversation with her will tell you everything you need to know about her expertise, professionalism, and genuine personality.
There is no one else I would have wanted by our side on our wedding day.
P.S. It certainly doesn’t hurt that Sara and her entire team (especially Jaden) are genuinely cool people and so much fun to work with.
We first hired Sara & her team for our wedding in Lake Charles. Along the way we ended up cancelling our wedding & moving it to Fredericksburg, TX. I called Sara back up to see if ...
she was available, and asked her to come with us as we had many failed attempts of getting connected with a coordinator who I felt as connected to as Sara, and someone who I felt would even do half a good job. We got back to working together immediately. Sara & Jaden made the trip all the way to Fredericksburg, TX and were everything we wanted, needed & more. Their attention to detail & hard work truly made our day so seamless & stress free. Their kindness, sweet personalities, and professionalism went really far to catering to me and my now husband, and making sure we had everything we needed. Which in turn left not a single worry to me that day was more than I could’ve ever asked for. It happened to be the coldest, and windiest day of the year on our wedding day. And yet, it still somehow turned out to be so magical, intimate & just what my husband and I wanted. Not only were Sara & Jaden absolutely incredible just in general. But, in that weather at an outside wedding, we truly couldn’t have asked for more. We loved working with them so much & we recommend you do too! :)

story. We had to change our wedding date a month before our wedding and coordinate a new date with all of our vendors. We had to change the reception venue to accommodate our guest count during covid restrictions and as a result had to completely rethink decor. She handled every change with confidence and poise which helped keep me sane. She pays so much attention to detail and is very organized. She dreamed with me and helped me figure out what I wanted when even I didn’t know. She was always quick to respond to texts and emails and answered my millions of questions. Her vendor recommendations were the best and my day went off without a hitch. Everything from floral to decor to food was exactly what I envisioned and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. We had so much fun working together over the past year and half and now that my wedding is done I consider her a friend. Thanks for all you do Sara!!

through the sea of vendors, making sure we got what we wanted, and paid the right price for it. At and after the wedding, she and her team took care of everything. We simply walked out. They took care of the gifts, the leftovers, and the vendors cleaned up. The wedding was everything we wanted.
For the destination wedding, Sara worked with the resort to ensure there was a real plan for the ceremony - down to the minute. When the resort double booked the venue, and made us move the wedding time, Sara negotiated a "settlement" that made that change palatable. She aggressively represented us, and made sure everything was as we wanted - and did it all by phone. Once we got to the resort, Sara was still texting us updates and schedules.
If we had 10 daughters, Sara Lasher would plan every one of those weddings.
