arched far and wide for a photographer that fit my style of timeless, classic photography that had both a natural, photojournalistic feel but at times editorial and artistic. I also had a summer wedding and wanted to find someone who specialized in this - using natural lighting, with a true-toned editing style that brought out the real colors but wasn't overly done (actually harder to find than I thought!). Then I stumbled upon Sarah's photography (I searched through my wedding venue's Instagram's tagged photos - highly recommend) and instantly fell in love with her work. She is a true artist and her photographs speak for themselves. Not only is Sarah amazing at what she does, she is an incredible human as well. When I first reached out to her I was amazed by how professional, receptive, kind, and calming she was. Because photography was so important to me and I am a bit anal with photos - it was really helpful to have someone who had such a laid back attitude while also being completely on her game. Her business is incredibly well-run and the whole process was so smooth from our initial conversation, to follow-ups to clarify my vision, to the payment/hiring process. While the photos on her website/social media speak for themselves - I wanted to be extra thorough by seeing a full gallery from various weddings (even one that was shot at my venue). She promptly sent them and it gave me extra peace of mind to see all of the details, various angles/poses, behind-the-scenes moments, and the hundreds of other types of photos that I could expect to receive. Leading up to the wedding (and even the morning of!) I was a very anxious bride who was having trouble making decisions, so I reached out to Sarah asking her opinion on dresses, hair, and jewelry. I loved her aesthetic and I trusted her opinion and how everything would come together to create the vision I wanted. She was so kind and gracious in responding to my texts and always being honest and thoughtful in her responses. I also had saved a ton of "inspiration" photos of prior photos she took and she was so kind in letting me text them to her (even saved them to her phone) and helping us to reenact them the day of. I also want to emphasize how natural Sarah is in working with couples and families. She is a true "people person" and has a way of making those around her feel at ease. My husband especially hates being photographed, particularly posing - and Sarah did such a great job getting him to relax (telling jokes even) that made him enjoy the experience more/have fun doing it. She also was always so on top of fanning out my veil to look perfect, even with the bridal party which included EIGHT bridesmaids! Sarah sent the sneak peak pictures in just a few days and the full gallery shortly after — I was truly blown away by the photos (and still am). I absolutely adore them and will cherish them forever as they will help me to relive my wedding day again and again. There were even a few black and white photos that I wanted to see color versions of and in just a few days she sent me them, fully edited in color! Hiring Sarah was *the* best decision I made for my wedding and I truly cannot recommend her enough.

Sarah worked with us to deliver excellent photos with our family, wedding party, pet dog and the entire occasion over two days at multiple venues. photography is -- we are truly over the moon with the galleries we’ve received from our September wedding and May engagement session. Something that may not speak for itself as obviously, but an equally important characteristic is Sarah’s overall personality and approach. From our first conversation last year, she made us feel comfortable and at ease, but also confident that she would be a great fit for our wedding day. She was fun, easy to talk to, and patiently answered our many questions; that initial meeting set the stage for our interactions throughout the entire planning process. She helped make vendor recommendations (we actually found our hair & makeup vendor through her), advise on day-of timeline, and gut check/answer any one-off general questions we had. Her expertise and demeanor make her a great person to have in your corner! For our engagement session, we selected a location she had not shot at before, and she did research in advance and came prepared with inspiration from other photoshoots, as well as of course putting her own spin on it and allowing us to bring our personalities into it. We had so much fun getting to know her and she helped us relax and make our photos look and feel more natural. On our wedding day, we were so excited to see her again (plus Cole this time – also amazing!) and the rest of our family and bridal party equally found them both to be a great addition to our day who helped keep us on time, ensuring we still got through everything we wanted to, and had fun doing it! Lastly, Sarah turned around our sneak peek gallery in less than 2 days, and full gallery in less than a month, during a very busy wedding season for her – and they are stunning! Her speedy delivery was just the icing on the cake. We can’t wait for an opportunity to work with her again!

s are met for both your wedding day and an engagement shoot. The engagement shoot was so fun because it gave us a chance to met in person- then on the wedding day it was like an exciting reunion! She stayed in contact with us during the planning process by checking in periodically. She directed our day perfectly and our photos turned out amazing. Our photos left us smiling from ear to ear! They have also been featured on our venue Instagram and the social media accounts from our bridesmaid dresses- such high quality photos! She is laid back and helped relax both my husband and I during our photos. I never felt like she was staging us to look a certain way- she captured our relationship organically. Her turnaround time is super speedy too! We hadn't met her husband (also her second shooter) until the day of the wedding and he was wonderful as well. We had a timeline issue last minute and he ended up driving my husband to the venue so that our first look was on time! They figured it out so quickly that I didn't even have time to stress. I would recommend Sarah a million times! Looking forward to hopefully having her capture future life moments for us.

They seek out the best backgrounds for the photos and help guide you for amazing poses and shots. During our engagement session was the first time meeting Sarah (other than via FaceTime) and she instantly made us feel comfortable. We felt awkward taking pictures and weren't really sure what to do/how to stand/where to look, but Sarah made sure to help us relax and give us easy instructions to follow. They were early to our wedding day to take pictures of Justin and myself getting ready with our bridal parties. She got every detail down from the bridesmaids names on the hangers, to the "I Do" written on my slippers I was wearing getting ready. They made sure we stayed on time for our schedule since we were concerned with it being tight. They made everything run so smoothly that we actually ended up with TOO much time before the reception! The ceremony was a lot shorter than expected and we were done with pictures 15 min into cocktail hour! It was great! We received all of our edited wedding pictures within 2 weeks after our wedding - unreal! If you're looking for a couple that has an attention to detail, who is highly professional, takes amazing photographs, and is simply a genuinely nice couple - they're your photographers!
