Sarah and Ginger are awesome! Childhood best friends who have gifts that compliment one another- one is better at formal and one is better at candid photos. They also have this super handy timeline they put together for photos on the day of the wedding, so we were able to let all of our family and wedding party know where to be and when for photos. They took the time to sit down with us to get to know us and what was the most important for us on the day of our wedding. They also informed us up front of some permits we might need to get for some of the photos we were thinking of doing inside public spaces (such as inside Union Station or Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts). They also adapted quickly when a few things did not go the way we hoped (let's face it- they never go perfectly as planned!). I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone and everyone who is looking for a wedding photographer.

Sarah and Ginger were excellent to work with! My husband and I don't particularly enjoy having our photo taken over and over but both ladies made it extremely comfortable and enjoyable for us. They came up with unique places that fit our personalities and our interests for both our engagement and wedding photos. Having them create a day-of time line for the wedding day was SO helpful! We didn't have to usher people around to get them in place for formal pictures, Ginger and Sarah took care of it and it went really smoothly. It is quite possible that Sarah and Ginger were my favorite vendors of all that we worked with throughout our wedding. Right off the bat they impressed me by being super organized and responsive. We had a lot of fun in all of our meetings as they are very easy to talk to and get along with. Their custom day-of timeline was what really sold me on their expertise and having it made me much more calm the day of the wedding. Sarah and Ginger were also very easy to work with on the day of, rolling with last minute changes and being accommodating. During the ceremony and reception I barely noticed they were even there - such photog ninjas they were! Most importantly, our pictures are beautiful and we are very, very happy with their work. We recently got married in August of 2015 and looked at quite a few photography vendors before we finally made our decision and we couldn't be happier. Creative Event Studio were responsive, helpful, encouraging and brought everything to the table that they said they would. We thought that their pictures were fantastic and their style of business suited us very well. It was calm, precise and easy to handle. I would recommend Creative Event Studio to anyone I know that is getting married and even people who aren't, but potentially could! Sarah and Ginger were fun to be around and really made the experience better. There are some vendors out there, regardless of craft, that are not responsive, sullen and/or bad at what they do, CRE is not one of them! It was a great time that we spent with Sarah and Ginger when we reviewed our engagement photos and when we reviewed our wedding photos. Thanks so much for such great pictures!!! Creative Event Studio completely made our wedding day as they truly captured every moment! From the first time we met with Ginger and Sarah to our final meeting, these ladies continued to surprise me with their professionalism, positive attitudes, great personalities, and wonderful passion and knowledge of photography! For our wedding the one area we allowed ourselves to be picky was in choosing our photographers, and we could not have made a better choice! Ginger and Sarah took on the day knowing it was going to be a scorcher and knowing we had a large wedding party (with many of their own ideas) and large families and they were geared up and ready to go. As a bride who needed to be organized and have every detail planned out, these ladies went above and beyond and did just that for us too. From planning who was going to be in which photo and who needed to be where when, to what time we would walk into the reception and leave for the night, Ginger and Sarah took the stress of planning and scheduling the day and had a detailed and organized list for the wedding party to follow, which proved to be a true blessing. During the day they continued to check in on me to ensure that I was doing okay, if I needed a break, or to see if there was anything else I needed. During the photos they truly made the experience wonderful and memorable as my bridal party and myself were full of laughter and smiles! These ladies went above and beyond what I ever expected in wedding photographers and we will cherish our captured memories of the best day of our lives for the rest of our lives!

Ginger and Sarah helped make our day very special! Not only did the manage the photography but they gave us insight as to what a normal wedding looks like and the timing of entrances during the ceremony and activities to do during the reception. They gave us great advice for ways to cut cost and be more creative to give the wedding a more cherished look. Coming from a guy, I would pick these two lovely ladies to work with HANDS DOWN!!! They are so easy to work with. We had not a single issue. They know their stuff and were a huge part of our day, Sara and Ginger are very good at making you feel good and look good in your photos. After searching for what felt like forever for the perfect photographer, my (now) husband and I choose to sit down with Sarah and Ginger of CES to get to know one another. Going into our first visit I had no idea what to expect, but I left knowing we would be friends not only through the timeline of our wedding but after. Throughout the entire process Sarah and Ginger were very communicative and flexible with our crazy schedules. We did our engagement photos about 6 months before the wedding, previewed those (and fell in love) about 3 weeks after they were taken. Adam and I both have large families. We knew everyone would want all kinds of photos. I asked Sarah and Ginger if we could write our custom timeline before the typical 30 day mark. They were very accommodating and we everyone ended up getting a time slot for the pictures they wanted. The day of the wedding there were so many things going on. People were everywhere, hair and make-up were in full swing and mimosas were in hand. Sarah and Ginger were there to document everything and make sure we have the memories to last a lifetime. They were able to make sure I stayed calm and focused on the happiness of the day. We had such a great time with them and couldn't be happier with our photos. We received them back in a very reasonable time and had a hard time choosing our favorites because there were SO many! Let's just say that we know what our families are getting for Christmas this year. :)

From our first meeting with them to our wedding review session, these two have been absolutely amazing. I'm not sure there are words to describe how amazing Ginger and Sarah were on our wedding day. From our first contact with them to our last they were nothing but professional, courteous, and helpful. This is saying a lot because they live in Kansas City while we live in St. Louis, a good four hour drive. They created our timeline for our whole day - SO helpful. We were able to plan our entire wedding around their timeline. I'm really not sure what we would have done with out them. They lifted a huge weight from our shoulders. Our formal photos were completed without any issues because everything was planned ahead of time. They work like a well oiled machine. Whenever I asked for additional photos or for them to capture a moment, it was never a problem and they were more than willing to do whatever we wanted - always with a smile. We haven't seen all of our photos yet but the ones we have seen are fantastic. Sarah and Ginger are able to capture the feel of the moment and not just snap a picture. In the world of wedding photographers, these ladies are stellar. Wedding photography is one of the biggest decision you will make for your big day and they went above and beyond what we could have expected at a reasonable price, to boot! I look forward to these pictures hanging on the walls of our homes for the rest of our years.

CES- Ginger and Sarah were the best photographers a bride could ask for! They were very professional and amazing to work with from the beginning. We had our engagement session with creative events studio. They are a female duo who are equally adorable as they are talented. They made us feel comfortable in every way possible. The pictures were beautiful and the turn around time is wonderful (as we are a few weeks out for our wedding.) Of course we booked them for our special day as well! I recommend them to everyone I know! We will definitely be returning for anniversary/children/family pictures as long as they are around!

The Creative Event girls were my Engagement photographers. They did an amazing job, really capturing the look and feel we were hoping for in our photos. Sadly, Ginger and Sarah had not yet started Creative Event Studio when my husband and I got married. Otherwise, they definitely would have been our photographers! However, they have captured many special events for our family since (our son's newborn photos, family portraits, his one-year photos) and I cannot recommend them enough! My husband and I did an engagement session with them, which helped us get to know Ginger and Sarah better. We were so excited when we got the pictures back, and couldn't wait to see how the wedding photos would turn out. We had a special package, because we did a destination wedding so CES only photographed our formals/reception. For the price, we received a guest book with our engagement photos, a wedding album, and the copyright release/CD for both the engagement session and the wedding collection. These ladies are SO much fun to work with and their photos turn out great! My husband and I are already looking forward to including Ginger and Sarah in our milestones to come.

Ginger and Sarah photographed my wedding this past June. Their passion for photography really shines through in every picture they take. Sarah and Ginger were amazing to work with leading up to and on our wedding day. They really helped make the day go smoothly and got tons of great shots while also allowing us not to have to focus on managing the photos ourselves. They came to St. Louis for our wedding (I think their first time shooting here), and still managed to find some great places to do our wedding party pictures. They also were really flexible when we weren't sure what to do about our outdoor pictures due to the bad heat wave. They got our outside pictures done quickly but still got all the shots we could have wanted! They also ran the photo shoot (with two large families and lots of kids) very efficiently and I think got us done ahead of schedule so we had a little time to relax before our ceremony. I would recommend them to anyone for wedding photography, we were really happy with them and love our photos.

I cannot tell you how much I love the work these ladies do! After our engagement photos we had so many people say that they couldn't wait to see our wedding photos, and they weren't disappointed. The photos turned out better than we could have imagined. They captured the emotions of our wedding in a way that I didn't think was possible on film. Meeting with the girls to discuss the wedding day was like meeting old friends, we felt immediately comfortable with them and chatted for hours. The day of the wedding, they kept things moving along and made sure that we were where we needed to be which was incredibly helpful as I didn't hire a wedding coordinator. The bride and I did a boudoir session. These ladies made us feel sexy, special, and very comfortable (even in our underwear) Would definitely go back for more! Can't wait to see what the wedding shoot looks like!

I loved Creative Event Studio. Ginger and Sarah were great to work with. My wedding pictures came out great. They are artistic and timeless at time same time. Ginger and Sarah are very professional yet are family oriented and relate well with families which I find to be a great quality. The only downside is the price. I live out in Alexandria, VA and I have had friends who live all over metro DC/ Richmond and they have gotten a better price deal on their photographs and we have a higher cost of living out here. But there is something to be said about you get what you pay for, Creative Event Studio is the best quality I have seen out of the Kansas City area and I have seen a lot of photos there from other friends. Overall I would recommend them to any one looking for artistic and timeless photos.

Sarah and Ginger are amazing photographers and so easy to work with! I live in Denver and got married in Kansas City. They skyped and emailed and were so flexible! They helped us pick a location for our engagement photos and they scoped out the area near our church for outdoor wedding photos. They are so organized and both spent the whole day at the wedding (a long day due to a break between the Catholic ceremony and then evening reception). It poured when we were going to outdoor photos and their quick thinking turned into some great, unique indoor photos. You cannot go wrong with these girls. They are THE BEST. You get way more the what you pay for! I would have payed them double for their excellent service and great personalities.

When my husband and I first started planning our wedding, I came across Creative Event Studio and fell in love with the the style of photography I found on their website. I ended up booking them before I had even looked at venues! I generally hate being in front of a camera, but they made me and my husband feel completely at ease from the first moment we met them. We were planning our wedding from halfway across the country, so they made time to Skype with us for our first meeting. During both our engagement session (which they squeezed in for us the day before the wedding) and the wedding itself, they were able to completely capture us and our personalities. We had a ridiculous amount of mishaps the weekend of our wedding...from the groomsman's shirts being the wrong color, to my entire purse (passport included) being left in a grocery store parking lot...all the way to our flower lady freaking out on us (15 minutes before I'm supposed to be walking down the aisle) and packing up to go home before she set up at our reception hall! CES was definitely a blessing amidst all the chaos! They are super fun, and work wonderfully together.
