Right from our pre-wedding consultation, it was clear that Sarah is no ordinary photographer. She truly understood our vision and preferences, capturing candid and heartfelt moments we didn't even realize were happening! And let me tell you, when I originally hired her, I was stressed because my previous wedding planner and I had to part ways only six months before the big day. Living out of town and having a demanding job made it even tougher for me to handle everything on my own. I asked Sarah if she had any suggestions for a new wedding planner, and boy, did she go above and beyond! Sarah not only gave me recommendations, but she also reached out to wedding planners on my behalf. Thanks to her help, we found an incredible new planner who made everything come together perfectly. She knew the stress I was under, and she didn't just act like any regular photographer. Nope! She provided guidance and support throughout the whole wedding process, making me feel at ease from day one! And here's the sweetest part: Sarah surprised us by showing up early to both our rehearsal dinner and the wedding! Can you believe it? She knew how nervous I was, and her early arrival not only calmed my nerves but also assured me that we were in the best hands possible! Even though we had scheduled her to leave at a certain time, she stayed later at no extra charge, saying she didn't want to miss capturing all the incredible moments happening on the dance floor. How awesome is that? Sarah is not just an incredibly talented photographer, but she's also the sweetest and most easy-going person ever! Her energy and presence instantly put everyone at ease, including me. I can't even begin to describe how amazing our pictures turned out. Every time I look at them, I'm reminded of the fun we had and how Sarah played such a big part in making our day even more special. Organized. Creative. Fun. Sarah was just phenomenal -- phenomenal creative visionary, phenomenal personality, and just an all-around phenomenal human. As a bride, I had so many little details to keep track of in my mind. So, I knew I made the right call with Sarah when I saw how organized and thorough her preparations were pre-wedding day. I knew I could trust her to capture all the right shots--and do it beautifully. Sarah over-delivered on our engagement, our dinner rehearsal, AND wedding day pictures. I genuinely would recommend Sarah!

We would choose Sarah 100x over again! From our first phone call with her we knew she was super personable, and she continued to exceed our expectations by 'wow'ing us with her incredible talent through our engagement session and wedding day. My husband and I are not the best when it comes to formal photos, but Sarah made it very easy and fun for us. Her and her team also made sure they captured every single detail of our wedding day, from the small venue details to the full party to the exit. We are extremely lucky to have so many wonderful photos to look back on and relive! Thank you Sarah for being part of our team and for sharing your epic talent with us!

I am so glad we found Sarah. You will not regret booking her!! From start to finish, she was a pleasure to work with. I knew from the first call I had with Sarah that we would love working with her. I promise you she will make you laugh and smile in addition to capturing your day beautifully and perfectly! Not everyone enjoys getting their pictures taken, but Sarah made my husband and I feel so comfortable. Sarah is the best and I’m so happy we hired her for our wedding photos!

You will have ZERO regrets working with Sarah. Sure, there are a million fantastic photographers in the Charleston area. However, Sarah felt like a close friend from day 1 with a genuine desire to get to know us as individuals, make us laugh, and really have fun. Sarah was flexible with booking and led us effortlessly through a Christmas card shoot, bridal portraits on the hottest summer day ever, and a much cooler fall wedding day. Her photos are absolutely spectacular and her packages are reasonably priced given the high quality of work. We look forward to booking with Sarah in the future for post-wedding shoots!

Stop right here & book Sarah! I’m still not quite sure how to explain how grateful I am that we found Sarah. Within five minutes of our first phone call I knew she was our photographer. Almost instantly I felt that I had known Sarah for years, she listened, asked questions, and made me feel SO comfortable; you could feel her excitement for us through the phone. Both my husband and I were nervous for our engagement session but by the end we didn’t want to stop! And let me tell you, the photos were gorgeous and got us even more excited for the wedding day! A few months before the wedding I reached out to Sarah about doing a photoshoot of our six year old daughter in my wedding dress - she met my request with the same level (if not more)of excitement. When we met Sarah for the mini shoot she greeted our daughter with the biggest smile and the best energy! We both had the greatest time and it was such a special moment that we got to share. Then, the wedding day - you really do spend so much time with your photographer and I couldn’t imagine that being anyone other than Sarah. The smile and excitement that she greets you with is unmatched. It is undeniable that Sarah loves what she does and that shines through in her work. I knew from the beginning that my biggest priority was our photos and oh. my. gosh. did Sarah deliver. Sarah gave us a gift that we will treasure forever. The photos were better than I could have ever imagined. Each and every photograph perfectly captured us, the love that we have for each other and our family, and just the overall day. And don’t even get me started on how special the photographs of our daughter in my dress are. Throughout the whole process from beginning to end Sarah was like the most professional best friend you never knew you needed. So friendly, responsive, supportive, and enthusiastic about what she does. I know that I rambled so to sum it up…if you are looking for a wedding photographer who will become a fast friend, give you the BEST photographs, support you, and most of all have fun with you; hire Sarah right now!! I found Sarah through her amazing work for my brothers engagement photos (largely because she perfectly captured their 2 dogs in the pictures) and I’m so thankful I did! Sarah was truly fun and easy to work with and she did an absolutely AMAZING job making me look and feel beautiful on my big day! Sure, the make-up and hair was on-point, but Sarah knew where the bests shots were and she did amazing with the angles! I can’t get enough of the beautiful moments and excitement she captured on our big day! Sarah was very responsive and professional during every interaction and also extremely patient with my 3 fur children who we insisted needed to be in our engagement pics and were also the flower girls/ring bearer and it meant the world to me how accepting and excited Sarah was to work with them! We met with Sarah on multiple occasions so she could get to know us and understand what we wanted in a photographer on our big day and she did exactly what we asked (huge fan of focusing on the small details and the fun and emotion of our friends and family). Basically, Sarah is an awesome person and even more awesome photographer. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for the best photographer in the game!!

Sarah was enjoyable to work with and did a fantastic job with both our engagement and wedding photos. She made it a simple and enjoyable experience, and captured all of the pictures we wanted. The process of pictures for our engagement and wedding was simple and pleasant, and her use of lighting and angles was perfect. Could not recommend her enough!

I really can't say enough good things about Sarah! She is a phenomenal photographer and I could not have imagined our wedding day being captured anymore more beautifully. She is so fun and kind, it made our sessions so enjoyable. From our engagement photos to our wedding day, she knew how to make us feel comfortable and give genuine smiles! She listened to all of my questions and heard my concerns about feeling awkward, insecurities I had, and everything in between. Even my husband had so much fun with our photos (which really says a lot- he hates getting his picture taken). Sarah is seriously the best there is and all of our photos are beautiful! We will be cherishing them for the rest of our lives!

Wow, Wow, Wow!! Sarah is so amazing!! After reading her reviews and seeing her work Sarah was the clear choice for us, and MAN she did NOT disappoint! My husband and I had a crazy whirlwind engagement that was extended over 2 years and 3 rescheduled wedding dates due to the pandemic. Sarah made everything easy and rolled with the punches with us! Sarah has the BEST personality!! My husband and I are definitely not models and get a little awkward in front of the camera and she made the entire process SOO fun and easy. Her eye for detail and skill at catching all the important moments is a gift! Look no further, she is exactly what your wedding needs! You may even ask her to be a bridesmaid she is so awesome!

Sarah is AMAZING . I was not a bride with a grand vision of what I wanted, and I struggled to articulate what I wanted, however, Sarah turned my simple vision into absolute perfection. Her gallery of photos she provided Ryan and I was beyond what we could have hoped for. Also, Sarah is the best to work with. Her positive energy kept Ryan and I laughing and feeling comfortable in front of her lens. In addition, she captured every moment from the bridal party getting ready to all of us leaving at the end of the night. I HIGHLY recommend Sarah to anyone. She really helped make our day even more special and captured every moment beautifully.

HIRE HER IMMEDIATELY! Sarah is amazing. She started out doing our engagement photos in downtown Charleston. She gave so many ideas and tips for poses, and they turned out great! Not to mention, she was still recovering from the flu but still pushed through with a welcoming personality! Then for the real deal - the wedding. Sarah went above and beyond for us. I insisted on a "no first look" wedding, knowing the risk that comes with only one hour for photos: rain and a short amount of sunlight in December. And guess what...a chance of storms. IT POURED. I was panicking as we took some photos on the front balcony... the wind was blowing and rain was splattering around. We decided to try to get some "outdoor" pics under our tent with the outside in the background. Sarah got so many good shots! We were amazed by how well they all turned out. Then, towards the end of our hour, suddenly the rain turned into a light drizzle. Sarah and her assistant braved it for us and went out by the dock and got some of the most stunning photos ever! We ended our couples session with some of my favorites of the night, and the rain on the ground actually looked like an extra touch of magic. We seriously cannot say enough about Sarah. All of our friends and family are obsessed with our photos and have said how talented she is! I joked to my husband that I wish we could hire her to follow us around in life to catch special moments! Our current stress is having to pick which photos we are going to hang up in our house because there are so many good ones :) THANK YOU SARAH!

Sarah will become your best friend within five mins of meeting her!! She is one of the sweetest people I have ever met and the best photographer I could have asked for! She understood exactly what we wanted and our style and captured it all perfectly! I wish I could have taken her home with me because she is hilarious and has the best personality, which keeps you laughing for some perfect pictures! If I could give her more then 5 stars I would!

It’s one thing to have a talented photographer, it’s another to have one that you feel just gets you. I saw Sarah’s work over a year ago on the Knot. I was in the very early stages of wedding planning. I hadn’t even nailed down exact date or venue, but I knew I wanted her to capture my big day. I’ve seen her page explode. She’s quite literally taking a hold on bridal photography here in Charleston and it’s well deserved. As it came closer to my wedding day, she and I had a phone conversation. I feel like 60% of it was wedding talk and the rest was like talking to a close friend. She and I spoke about typical wedding drama, her sweet family, my crazy one, and of course, how I envisioned my wedding pictures. The day of, she and Charlie showed up and did the dang thing. She was so sweet and calming. I was worried about the rain and she did her very best to convince me everything was going to be just fine — perfect rather! The sneak peak pictures were stunning. A week after our wedding, my father in law passed away unexpectedly. I texted Sarah in the middle of night, asking if it was possible for her to send me any pictures she had so that we could use them for his service. She was so kind to get them to me at rapid speed. These pictures mean so much to me and my family. We will treasure them forever because she captured us as we were — so incredibly happy, excited, just having the time of our lives. I can’t every thank you guys enough for all your help. Don’t sleep on Sarah! She’ll make your day!

Sarah is simply AMAZING!!! From our first consultation, we became friends. She truly listened and understood the vibe I wanted captured in our pictures. She was in contact throughout the entire planning process, which was extremely helpful since I was planning the wedding across the country in California. On the wedding day, Sarah was the biggest source of calmness. She professionally dealt with the crazy groomsmen to keep the stress off of me. And when it was time for our couple pictures, she pulled us away to not only capture the intimacy but also help us destress from the chaos between the ceremony and reception. She was everywhere capturing every moment during the whole day. She even gave us a preview of several pictures that night. It comes down to this: YOU NEED SARAH!!!!

Where do I even begin? Hiring Sarah was the best vendor decision I made for our wedding. The quality of her photos is amazing, she knew just what poses we should do and had cute unique Ideas for us to try. Sarah and Emma both were so nice and sweet, they went above and beyond what you would expect for a photographer. They even helped me carry my massive dress for half of the photos we did lol. Truly very single photo that I would have wanted to have for our wedding I got, I have over 1000 photos and I love every one!!! Not to mention Sarah's prices are amazing and the amount of detail and commitment you receive from her is incredible. She was so flexible and we spoke often up till the wedding discussing options if it rained and having a backup plan for photos (Which is super important). My husband and I will be using Sarah for every occasion from here on out, we just love her!

Sarah was honestly one of the best parts of our wedding. After finding her on The Knot and reaching out to her a and a few others, I heard back from Sarah and I just felt like we immediately hit it off. She understood me simply. What I asked for is what we got and so much more. I’m not your typical bride and my husband and I were looking for a photographer who would capture our quaint family wedding. While we were looking to save money - I knew photography isn’t one of the places you want to cut corners, but Sarah had the perfect set up [elopement package] for what we needed. We were allowed to pick and choose pieces of our package and when I was satisfied with our arrangement I said I had some hesitation on the time I had paid for unsure if it would cover everything. Sarah was quick to assure me we could add time for an agreed upon price and she would have no problem staying if needed. Her flexibility was outstanding. We asked for a second shooter - she found a great one. Words aren’t enough to explain the gratitude I have for Sarah and how effortless she made the day for us. I had no concerns prior because of how thorough she was on making sure I had every shot I wanted stored away in her pocket and ready for our day. I can tell you it would be your biggest regret not hiring Sarah Beach Photography.

Sarah was a dream to work with. She customized a package for us, worked with us over long distance, then drove all the way across the state to shoot our wedding! Not only was she super chill and fun on our wedding day, but her photos are amazing! We liked her portfolio because of her relaxed style, and we requested that most of our pictures be candid shots that capture the spirit of our wedding. Sarah delivered exactly what we wanted; her pictures captured so much feeling and will be treasured mementos.
