I absolutely loved working with my seamstress! She was so professional, incredibly sweet, and made the entire alteration process such a fun experience. She made sure my dress fit p...
erfectly and was always so kind and helpful throughout everything.
She even took the time to help my mom understand exactly how to bustle my dress, which I appreciated so much! She also gave me the cutest little emergency kit to have with me on my wedding day — such a thoughtful touch that I will always remember.
I’m so grateful I got to work with her and couldn’t recommend her enough!

I find it difficult to put into words how grateful I am to have had the experience working with Sarah. It was a dream! Not only is Sarah a joy to work with, but her skillset and kn...
owledge are unmatchable. Initially I had started off inquiring about creating a gown from scratch, which Sarah happily discussed with me. However, I eventually found two gowns that I wanted to combine. Sarah not only understood my vision but was just as excited as I was about bringing it to fruition. I purchased a satin fit and flare gown and then a tulle overlay which was actually from another gown. I desperately wanted a detachable skirt/overlay. After altering the base gown to my measurements, Sarah then added easily managed hook and eyes for the detachable skirt. She also created elbow length gloves from scratch which mimicked my grandmother’s gown, a very sentimental detail to me. In addition to those details, Sarah also fixed my mother’s wedding veils to finish off my look. Sarah absolutely brought my dream gown to life. I truly enjoyed my experience working with her. I appreciated that her enthusiasm throughout the process matched my own. Knowing that someone you’re working with is just as excited as you about your wedding planning process is a great feeling. I was able to take my time during each appointment, trying on different accessories, and asking questions to which I received honest answers. Because Sarah has such a warm and inviting personality, I was able to fully enjoy my bridal gown experience. I was never once concerned at any point in the process. The option to add on a bridal gown preservation was also a huge plus. Don’t even question booking with Sarah – just do it!

ocess. She is such an amazing bridal seamstress that came highly recommended from my dress shop. She worked on my dress with so much care and attention to detail— letting it out a little, changing out the cups, hemming, creating a bustle, and adjusting my sleeves to fit. She made sure my dress fit like a glove and made me feel like the most bride! Truly such a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend her to any bride.

ess with so much care, taking it in, adding cups, hemming the dress, and creating a bustle, along with beautiful lacework. My dress fit perfectly, and she made me feel like the most beautiful bride.

Talented, caring, and creative! I reached out to Sarah with an unusual inquiry. My mom had passed when I was young and I had her wedding dress that I wanted to incorporate into my ...
wedding in some way. I knew I didn’t want to wear it for my wedding day, so I thought about something for my bridal shower. I loved the top part of the dress but the bottom was not my style. So, I decided to ask if she would be able to take the top part and make it into a bodysuit for me while still keeping the integrity of the dress. To say she knocked it out of the park would be an understatement. She took such care of such a personal piece of mine and kept everything else in tact. My whole family was surprised when I showed up and it brought such emotion. I also asked Sarah to make handkerchiefs and pocket squares to surprise my family with on the wedding day so that we all had a piece of my mom’s dress with us to remind us of her. Finally, I wanted myself to have something to wear. I decided to create my own wedding shoes with appliqué from the dress. Sarah gave me guidance to do so and they turned out exactly how I had hoped. Throughout this process, Sarah helped me heal in so many ways that I don’t know if she realized. I was so lucky to have Sarah on this journey with me and will be forever grateful for the care and support she gave me. Sarah is not just a bridal seamstress, she is a visionary and an incredible person! Her talent is profound and I guarantee you are in good hands with! Thank you, Sarah, for everything!
Professional, timely, dress was perfect. Hire Sarah in advance since she's a hot commodity!!! You need her.
Sarah Betty is such a talented seamstress. Not only is her work flawless, but she was so genuine and personable to work with. When my wedding dress was ordered one size too big I...
thought it would never fit me again the way that I envisioned (and thought I might end up with a wardrobe malfunction). However, Sarah Betty worked her magic and was able to reconstruct the entire top of my dress to make it fit like a glove. The finished product looked like it was made for my body and was no longer sitting weird in the bust. Even though the dress had an intricate design and sequence/sparkle on the top half, Sarah Betty was able to make it look like it was never touched. I am still amazed and in awe at how it was actually possible. You can truly tell by her work that Sarah Betty puts her heart into all that she does for her clients. I cannot recommend her services enough and I will definitely be using her again in the future.
Sarah is absolutely amazing. She was s able to take a concept in my head and turn it into a beautiful dress. I had bought a sleeveless wedding dress and did not realize how challe...
nging it would be to add sleeves to it. After going to several other seamstresses, I realized this was a bigger task than just slapping on some sleeves. It was redesigning the top and back of my dress. I found Sarah on a local FB group and reached out to her right after ordering my dress. I told her what I was looking for and sent her a photo of the strapless dress and right away she was able to draw up what was in my head just from our first email. That was when I realized she was going to be able to make my dream dress a reality! Every interaction in the next year was great, she truly wanted to make sure I was happy and comfortable. Not something I had always found as a plus size bride dress shopping.
The final results were better than I had imagined. When I tried on my dress in the original shop I didn’t have that teary-eyed moment I expected and I always thought it was bc it wasn’t the dress I imagined for myself. Well in my final fitting, I had that moment in Sarah’s home office, crying seeing myself in the dress I had imagined but couldn’t find on the rack. Thank you Sarah for making me feel beautiful and confident on my big day, you are truly talented and a wonderful person to work with!

e’s so sweet and friendly that you feel more like she’s a friend and forget about what an absolute PROFESSIONAL she is. On that note, she is simply unbelievable at what she does. She is understanding and accommodating while also providing a realistic and honest opinion which would typically be hard to balance, but she does with ease. Her perspective and vision is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Not to mention - she made the illusion necklace I wore with my dress on my wedding day! Please do yourself a favor and reach out to Sarah! I can’t thank her enough!
