Sarah Brookhart Photography

ob. On both our engagement photo shoot and wedding day, Sarah made my now husband and I feel so comfortable. Both of our days were horrible snowy and rainy weather and she had a smile on her face, upbeat personality, and was ready to brave the elements with us. In both sets of photos we look at them and it takes us back to how we felt on those days. She did an incredible job of capturing us and the love we have for each other. She listens to you and is extremely flexible if you ask for something specific to be captured. She's organized and you can tell she really loves what she's doing. She was great to work with! We're so unbelievably happy that we booked her, thank you!! Also follow her on instagram- her stories with her husband and kids are adorable.

ement photos so we could do it in our hometown. We aren't the most comfortable with posing for pictures, but Sarah made the experience beyond fun. She had us laughing the entire time, which made the pictures feel incredibly authentic and not posed. Then came our wedding & she did a 11/10 job on. It was in Baltimore and she was reliable, organized & made it fun for all of us. She photographed our day with her husband Ryan and he was also great. They have such a cute dynamic. Our bridal parties even had so much fun taking pictures. They said she was the best wedding photographer they have ever had. Sarah sent us some photo highlights a few days after our wedding and even sent our full album a month earlier than planned. My husband and I still can't stop scrolling through pictures from our day, they are just beyond beautiful and capture our emotions completely. We will be using her for many more events in the future and can't recommend her enough!

ur pictures back. WOW. We haven’t even gotten the full gallery yet (our wedding was only 5 days ago) but I couldn’t wait to write this review in case it helps another bride make one of the most important decisions on her list! Sarah’s personality is the best and she somehow manages to get a shot of every little thing in little to no time. She simultaneously makes sure everything gets done and the show stays on time while also making the couple feel like they’re forgetting that they’re being photographed. She’ll get the best candid photos but also ask you prompts to elicit emotions so your photos are actually real, not phony looking. I could go on and on - THANK YOU, Sarah (& her awesome husband Ryan) for shooting our big day so perfectly!!!

r wedding day (aside from a spouse and your memories!) are the photos you will have to look back on! So it was an easy decision for us to go with Sarah Brookhart. She is an absolutely incredible photographer, and you can see that in all of her photos, but her most exceptional skill is her ability to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera!!! Sarah took our engagement and wedding photos, and we were so nervous for our engagement photos because both my husband and I are not naturals in front of the camera. But, Sarah effortlessly makes it such a fun experience, and in doing so she captures natural and loving photos for you to treasure. It was so nice going into our wedding day knowing that Sarah would do exactly the same in capturing our love and all of the special moments from that day. Our photos are beautiful, and we highly recommend working with Sarah for all of your photo needs!! Oh, and we got our wedding photos back soooo quickly!!! In addition to the online access you have to your photos, she also sends you a beautiful package with all of your photos printed, as well as a USB with all of your photos. She goes above and beyond through all parts of the process, and it is absolutely worth every penny to work with her!

ve, but there were a few things about her and her process that convinced me to book and IT WAS WORTH IT! We don’t regret a penny because her work is worth that much. Sarah was SO organized from the beginning. Upon booking, she sent us an online portal with all our documents and a magazine in the mail with tips and tricks to make our wedding day and engagement photos go smoothly. Truly priceless. We got lucky because Sarah had a trip to california planned before we booked her, so we were able to do our engagement photos at our home in LA. On the day of the wedding, Sarah and Ryan came organized and prepared, easing any anxieties we had that morning. Ryan was shooting with my husband while he was getting ready and he said Ryan was just so calm and it made him feel so at ease. They were so organized, my family loved them, and we had a blast getting our pictures taken with each other. Sarah and Ryan were down for anything. They worked so well with our toddler son, and sang the Bluey theme song to get him to smile for a picture. Sarah delivered our photos FREAKY fast so I had pics to wedding announcement pics to post right away ;) My husband and I loved reliving our wedding day through photos. S & R captured moments we didn’t even get to see like our son being passed around by his cousins and our older relatives getting down on the dance floor. Our wedding photos are so raw and unposed and candid, looking at them brought back all the feelings I felt on my wedding day. I couldn’t recommend Sarah enough. I’m already thinking about booking future family sessions with her because she is just too talented and easy to work with!

and the warm and intimate "feeling" of our big day. I loved that she didn't try to pose my husband and I, or my younger nieces and nephews, and just let us all be ourselves. She is the hype girl everyone wants to have with them on their wedding day; she gave us prompts to make us react naturally, and looking at our complete album, we were truly ourselves in the photos. I felt VERY relaxed on my wedding day, and Sarah's organization, combined with her relaxed, calming nature was a huge contribution to that. We also loved that Sarah did our engagement photos as well; having bonded and formed that in-person relationship prior to wedding day was another contributing factor to making our wedding day super fun and enjoyable. We would choose Sarah a hundred times over - she is amazing, and any couple would be lucky to work with her!!

get to know you and what you want on your special day. Sarah not only makes your dreams come true but captures the special moment in the most effortless and extraordinary way. Ryan officiated and personalized our ceremony script beautifully. We will truly cherish our wedding photos forever. We eloped and felt so comfortable with both Sarah and Ryan. We took a nice hike to our photo destination dreams. They were so supportive and willing to do whatever our wishes were for our special day. This includes hiking down to a beautiful waterfall and then hiking back up in the late October weather. If you are considering eloping do it and do it with Sarah and Ryan. You will not regret it! We would 1000% book with Sarah again!

ched through facebook and instagram and eventually i came across sarah. i instantly was drawn to her work. i actually couldn’t believe she had my wedding date available when i reached out to her. i felt an instant connection with her. we were even pregnant during the same time! she went above and beyond to make me feel like a friend rather than a client and for that i am forever grateful. on my wedding day she kept the entire photo process running smoothly which i really appreciated. i received my full wedding album yesterday and i’m literally in love with every single photo. i cannot recommend sarah enough!

re absolutely amazing! She clearly has this down for a science and makes sure you get everything you want. I never felt like she was being overly intrusive or staging us in awkward positions. Every shot was so authentic. She also turned the pictures around fairly quickly! We got ours around the same time as someone who got married 3 months before us. Absolutely LOVED working with her!!

g during our engagement shoot allowed us to build a personal connection with Sarah (which she strives for.) Her use of prompts and games allowed us, who are not typically photogenic, to feel at ease. On the day of the wedding Sarah and her husband, Ryan, took incredible images. Her guarantee was having the entire album in 8 weeks and we received all of our photos in 4 weeks, not to mention sneak peek shots, a curated set of her favorites a few days after the wedding. We couldn't recommend Sarah and her team enough!

atural. Sarah is kind, funny, so easy to work with, and my awkwardness disappeared in front of the camera. Sarah shared some sneak peeks of our wedding while waiting for the full gallery and we thought it was a really nice touch. When we got the images we both cried (happy years!) because it brought back the best memories from our wedding day and Sarah was able to capture those moments in the most perfect way. If you want to perfectly capture your wedding day or event, I absolutely, without a doubt recommend you book Sarah!

f our shells (not an easy task). Sarah made me feel very confident and at ease during my bridal portraits which speaks volumes as I’m usually a nervous wreck in front of a camera but those feelings melted away with her! She makes it fun, lighthearted, and still honors the deepness in the emotions of the day. She has a special attention to detail and ensured that we got all of the photos and groupings we wanted, as well as shots of the moments that mattered most to us. Love that she gives you a little sneak peek into your photos while you await the rest too, as I know not all photographers do that, so it’s special that she understands how hard the wait can be and alleviates it that way! I’ll absolutely be asking her for family photo portraits in the near future, she was a dream to spend time with

ding day and our engagement photos. Her works speaks for itself, definitely check out her accounts and galleries. I noticed a big difference in the quality of her galleries compared to other photographers who may have great instagrams but truly just pull out their best shots. Sarah did a fantastic job all around. She is an expert!

I was right all those years ago! Sarah is the definition of expert. From the way she makes you feel like you can tackle the wedding planning process to feeling comfortable in front of the camera, she was crucial every step of the way. But now, the real reason she's incredible is her work. Her photography has a way of capturing moments I've never seen another photographer capture. She captures the real, raw love. Not staged moments. Almost every photo she delivered to us, from our engagement to our wedding, made me cry. And on the day of the wedding, she was an absolute dream to work with. She kept everyone organized and moving along and made sure I got the exact photos I wanted. She even spotted a rainbow outside and ran in to grab us for a quick photo. She is always thinking about her couples and putting them first, and it shows throughout the entire process. Her husband Ryan is also awesome, and was even our officiant! He was so easy to work with leading up to the wedding, and was a great buddy to the guys during the wedding day. And the best part, he knows when to get out of the photo for the first kiss: rockstar officiant! My husband and I can't recommend Sarah enough, and everyone that sees our photos asks who took them and we are SO excited to say SARAH BROOKHART! Seriously brides, if you want an amazing, reliable vendor that takes the most incredible and meaningful photos EVER, Sarah is your girl!

ure from the sneak peek she gave us. She is a total pro and is absolutely worth every penny. She and Ryan had lots of experience with weddings at our venue, so I felt very comfortable letting her run the show. They both did a fantastic job with putting us, our wedding parties, and our families at ease while also being very efficient with time. Sarah was thinking ahead and planning the whole time, she thought of things that never occurred to me. I cannot recommend or praise Sarah enough, she is absolutely phenomenal.

front of the camera. She was so easy to get in contact with and extremely organized. She made wedding and photography planning super easy. She came highly recommended by our wedding venue, which is how we first found her. All of her attributes aside, her work is absolutely stunning. She is able to capture people at their best, without having to pose them or fake smiles. She has mastered her art. Her work is moody, romantic, and beautiful. She and her husband Ryan were extremely thorough yet officiant on the big day. She captured all of the photos I had wanted, and made sure we had fun throughout the entire day. My guests commented that the photographers were extremely kind and seemed to be “everywhere” and “worked so hard.” I am so so excited to see the rest of our photos! Please book Sarah, you’ll love her and her work!

and large wedding ceremony. Working with Sarah was a dream come true - she is organized, professional, and fun to be around! Throughout our photo shoots, we played games, laughed, and danced and my husband and I truly forgot that we were supposed to be posing for pictures. The result: absolutely stunning pictures where we look natural, happy , and in love - exactly how I want to remember our special day! On top of that, Sarah started her maternity leave shortly after my wedding and she still committed to delivering a sneak peak album (300+ pictures) and full album within 2 months. I can't recommend Sarah Brookhart Photography enough!

ts, but so far there is no one we've seen who does the work that they do. They're not just standing there telling you where to stand, smile, point, and shoot. They help you to feel comfortable and embrace the day, the emotions, and most of all the FUN. Photography is an area people may want to cut their budget for, but trust us when we say Sarah and Ryan are worth it. Please don't treat your day as just another day to not be present. Choosing your vendors is just as important because their presence and participation in the day impact your energy as well. If you want that peace of mind and have fun, please please please-- I beg you. Book Sarah Brookhart Photography.

o so fun to work with and had us laughing all day. The pictures turned out so beautifully — we can’t even narrow down our favorite photos because they are all so amazing. Sarah also sent us a sneak peak with about 15 photos a few days after our wedding, which was such a pleasant surprise! Sarah Brookhart Photography is the best and we are so glad that we hired Sarah and Ryan to capture our big day!

ts, and the way she can capture such pure emotion and storytelling through her lens. Second of all - she is so fun and easy to hangout with. And let me tell you - that's important when you're spending an entire day with someone. I told Sarah from the beginning that my groom didn't like getting his photo taken (he has 0 patience and just wants to be having fun with everyone else). Sarah and her husband Ryan made it so fun on our wedding day by asking us silly questions and even questions that made us think about our history together and why we love each other so much. It made the photo-taking process fun but also allowed them to capture our real emotions which is so crucial. I love that her pictures aren't cookie cutter but seem to be moving moments in time. She also sent me a sneak peak with about 5+ photos literally 2 days after our wedding so I could share on my instagram! All of my bridesmaids LOVED her as well - she captured her shots efficiently and quickly (aka we weren't there for 4 hours taking a million pictures). She also made them laugh as well with some of her prompts that she had (including all of us walking to the tune of "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix a Lot). Her and Ryan's energy were great and they were such an awesome duo to capture the girls and guys. I'm thrilled with her work and will definitely be hiring her again for any future picture needs. Thanks, Sarah!

ed, so we had plenty of months to plan and do our research. I searched high and low for any photographer in the area who matched the style I was looking for. I found several great ones, but Sarah is the one who stood out to me the most. I asked her over a year in advance and when she said yes I was ecstatic! Sarah has been professional from the start. She's very kind and easy to get along with, but she definitely doesn't mess around. She likes to have fun, but she also knows how to get the job done and get all the shots you'll look back on and love for many years to come. Sarah had her baby shortly before our wedding, but that didn't stop her and her husband from committing to our wedding and flying all the way out to Mexico for our special day. They handled the logistics very well and were such a joy to have there! We got a few sneak peek photos within a couple days, our highlights album (of 500+ photos) a month later, and then the entire album within 2 weeks later. She also sent us a nice package with a USB of our photos. She is very quick and efficient, and I still haven't even chosen what photos I want to print for an album because I honestly like every single one of them (and that's not something most people could say). Not only is she a great photographer, but she also has a great list of resources! She actually recommended the videographers we ended up going with (which also worked out well because they already knew how to work together). I would've never found them without her because they are not very active on social media, but oh man did their video blow us away (that's a review you'll also need to read). Anyway, we also wanted a nice cake and photographer for our wedding shower, and I found our cake baker from Sarah's Instagram (which to this day is still my favorite cake ever, it even blew our wedding cake out of the water), and she recommended a wonderful photographer to us (because Sarah wasn't available for that day). She might as well be a wedding planner at this point! haha. I highly recommend Sarah for any of your monumental moments, no questions asked!

u book Sarah for your wedding or for a lifestyle/couple shoot, the entire process will be seamless, exciting, and incredibly memorable! Through word of mouth (and gorgeous Instagram and Facebook photos), I found Sarah Brookhart Photography and it wasn't even a question that she would be our wedding photographer. On top of being an incredibly talented creator and a wonderful human, Sarah is professional, organized, and a great gal to have at your side during one of the most important days of your life. You can relax knowing that no matter the circumstances, your photos will be utterly gorgeous and natural. My husband and I worried that our awkwardness while taking photos would be obvious, but that is just not the case! Sarah (and her husband, Ryan) made us feel so comfortable during every session. We laughed, danced, sang, and enjoyed every single moment- unaware that we had a camera to "pose" for. Hiring Sarah as your wedding photographer will be the best decision you make! Her work far exceeds whatever price you may pay. I recommend Sarah Brookhart Photography through and through!

a lifetime moments that will be so important in the years to come. I highly recommend Sarah to memorialize all of life's most important moments!

er of us are photogenic people really, and she made us look like pros. Sarah is insanely talented and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

hen we first booked her. She was accommodating and flexible in scheduling our engagement photos and delivered easily the best pictures of my (now) husband and I that we'd ever seen!! She is a pro at capturing us in our naturally giddy moments, and catching the sweetest candid ones too. She had a way of making us feel so comfortable that we forgot she was photographing us and were just our our normal selves. As for the wedding, Sarah and her husband, Ryan, seriously blew away all of our expectations. I was worried with the constant rain all week that we'd end up with mostly indoor photos, on a day that I'd been dreaming would include fields, flowers, and lots of romping and twirling with my guy. Sarah and Ryan immediately put our fears to rest. From our first look out by the pond, to our bridal shots later in the evening, she captured the greens of the outdoors without emphasizing the mud along the edges of my gown. She had us giving each other Eskimo kisses and giggling, and managed to catch every single kiss in a photo. We received our photo gallery so, so quickly and I truly mean it when I say that we've loved every single photo - from the ones of details, to the family portraits, to our favorite candid shots. I can't recommend Sarah Brookhart enough for your wedding photographer.

insanely talented and I was so lucky to have had her photograph our big day. She and her associate photographer, Becca, beautifully captured all of the love and laughter of our wedding day. And talk about fast turn around!! I think we got all of our pictures two weeks after the wedding -- insane! While clicking through my HUSBAND and I were able to relive the best day of our lives! Sarah was so great to work with and really put all my stressed out bride panics at ease. You spend the FIRST moments as husband and wife with your photographer and Sarah made those moments so special!

you should care about when picking are their style (we loved Sarah's style!) and their personality (think: 8+ hours with this person on your wedding day). Sarah and her associate photographer, Becca, were such lovely people, and so easy + fun to work with and be around; they both made the photos feel effortless, while maneuvering a ton of people in and out of photos. Not an easy task when it's August and humid and the majority of people just want to get back to the party. We are so incredibly happy with the photos - they truly turned out better than we could have imagined, and are so grateful that both Sarah and Becca were our photographers. On a timing note, Sarah got both of our portfolio of photos back to us in record time - I was expecting at least a month wait - but I think we got them back before our honeymoon was over. Seriously. A huge thank you to SBP - we loved working with you!

e in a photographer. From the smooth and seamless communication via email to the beautiful Baltimore engagement shoot and of course, our special day... working with her was such an amazing and fun experience. She's extremely talented and truly cares about the couples she works with. Her assistant, Becca is also amazing! You really can't go wrong with working with them :)

res turned out beautifully. On our wedding day, Sarah was organized and extremely flexible with the timing of the photos. Fun fact: Sarah is also an incredible dancer and even joined us on the dance floor for a song! Overall, I would recommend Sarah Brookhart Photography to EVERYONE. She is incredible.

(included in the package) shortly before the big day. Sarah was efficient and professional during the wedding day and the photos turned out perfectly. She got all the shots we could want and we now have over 700+ great photos from our special day. Everyone has been commenting on how nice the photos are! We would recommend Sarah to any couple looking for a wedding photographer. -Paul & Kati
