Where do I begin...From the initial contacting of Sarah, the promptness of her responses from the first inquiry and our many email exchanges, the ease of both parties signing the contract all done within a very short time. I contacted Sarah 2 weeks prior to our wedding and all this was professionally handled in that short time frame. Including our photo shoot! I had never met Sarah nor did I have anyone suggest her to me. I needed a photographer in Wheaton at the Courthouse, I read her reviews and I trusted her from the first email correspondence. Sarah was promptly at the parking lot to meet us in her white and black checkered jacket just as she described! She calmed my nerves when I realized I’d forgotten my driver’s license and took photos from the time we walked across the parking lot into the building, getting signed in, while we waited for our number to be called, during the ceremony and in several locations outside. Her eye for settings was great! She is charming, funny and has a knack for posing you so you’ll look great all while singing and doing whatever it takes to make you laugh! The pictures I’ve seen are ones she took with my phone and sent me that very same day are MORE than I could have asked for. I can’t wait to see her finished work. Thank you so much Sarah for being there with us and capturing our day!

I couldn't have asked for a more amazing photographer. My husband and I are not the biggest fans of photos. We just don't really take them so a day of taking photos and being lovey dovey wasn't something we super psyched for. But Sarah completely changed that for us. She draws out the inner model and we had the most fun time ever taking them (even in the cold). She was able to make my husband smile not that fake smile he likes to do so that in itself is a testament of how good she is. She is so sweet, easygoing and talented. Photos are gorgeous and couldn't be easier to work with.

Sarah and Sam photographed our wedding in Chicago in December. I know choosing a photographer is crazy difficult, with so many possible people to choose from. I'll make it easy for you, just hire Sarah now. Why? She nails the perfect balance between being very professional so that you know that you can absolutely trust her and rely on her. She was a top notch professional throughout. But then also she's an amazingly friendly and warm person. You need both, she delivers. Sam was working alongside her at our event and was also faultless. You are only planning to get married once. Getting the right photographer is critical to the success of your day. Do not try to 'save money', or 'use a friend'. Go for Sarah and relax knowing that I have proof she delivers. We got 2000+ superb professional photographs that I have on my hard drive and will have forever, along with a print release letter from Sarah allowing me to print at will. I honestly could not have asked for more. Many equally expensive photographers will not give you all this! Sarah does. If you have any questions about how they performed their duties on the day I would be happy to answer them, and can fully vouch for Sarah's abilities as a photographer. Save yourself hours of research on websites like this and just book her for your wedding. And just to confirm - I've met Sarah three times in my entire life and live over in Europe, so this is a genuine review. 10/10

Sarah is one of a kind and absolutely wonderful. I don't even know where to begin with all the fabulous things she did for us over the course of our loooooong engagement leading up to our wedding. She's the type of person who can automatically put you at ease and talk to you like you've been best friends for ten years and are just catching up. I leaned on her a lot in the months leading up to our wedding and she went above and beyond. Not only is she such a genuine soul, but she is an expert at her craft. She can put even the most awkward and weird people feel at ease in front of the camera and everything turns out so beautiful. I get compliments on every picture she's taken for us (and those won't be the last!) And even gifted some sessions to friends of ours! I tell everyone who asks for a photographer recommendation to reach out to Sarah, it may be one of the best choices you make!

Sarah is the absolute best. We had the pleasure to work with Sarah for our engagement shoot and our wedding. She made our entire engagement and wedding experience so fun, enjoyable, and comfortable. Sarah ended up not only being our photographer, but an amazing friend to us throughout the entire process. Our wedding would not have been the same without Sarah and the unforgettable memories she captured that we will cherish forever. I truly do not even know where to start with the amazing experience we had with Sarah as our wedding photographer! She made everything so easy, light hearted and fun - from the day we booked her to the last photo at the reception. To prepare, she shared a timeline template for the day of that helped immensely and made suggestions along the way, allowing for flexibility. Sarah is so knowledgeable on all things wedding related, not just photography - I think this speaks to how much she enjoys what she does. Booking Sarah as our photographer took a huge weight off my shoulders during the planning process because I knew that I wouldn’t have to worry about a thing. We got a sneak peak faster than we could have even hoped for and of corse the photos are STUNNING. Sarah is such a talented photographer and without even seeing the rest of the photos, I am already speechless! Thank you so much Sarah, we can’t wait for our next photo session with you!

It is hard to begin to explain how absolutely, truly, and positively WONDERFUL it is to work with Sarah! I had known Sarah as an acquaintance for a few years from college. Since being invited to it, I have always loved her posts on her Sarah Crost photography page. Once my husband and I had gotten engaged, I knew immediately that I wanted to hire her for our engagement and wedding photos. Specifically, I wanted to book her because she really has a talent of catching small and big moments in photos. We knew we didn’t want all only posed photos so we knew Sarah was our girl. My husband and I officially booked with Sarah in January 2018 for our March 8th, 2019 wedding. We booked her Documentary package which included an engagement session, 2 photographers, 10 hours of photography cover, photo album, and photo release. From the get go, Sarah has always been incredibly professional. She is prompt in responding to questions and is incredibly easy to work with. My husband and I live out of state. For us, communication with our vendors was an expectation since we did not have the opportunity to set up many meetings (if any at all). She understood that planning a wedding out of state was stressful and really went out of her way to ensure all of our questions were answered. This alone really helped ease the nerves as the big day was approaching! Also, to add to the professionalism piece, she is very punctual. She was early to arrive to both of our engagement sessions and scheduled arrival time for the wedding. We never had an issue with her being late! On the day of the wedding, she brought Meg Adamik as her assistant photographer. Sarah and Meg were the dream team! They both were extremely talented and definitely had the process down of where to be and when for pictures. With them, I did not have to worry about anything! Their bubbly, fun personalities were contagious and everyone in the bridal party loved having them around! At one point during the day, we had an issue with our videographer cancelling within a couple hours of our ceremony. While we were able to get a backup plan sorted out with a new videographer, I MUST compliment Sarah and Meg. While I was in a slight panic trying to take in that our videographer was not coming, Sarah and Meg were trying to come up with a game plan of how to possibly get the ceremony recorded on their cameras. We ended up not needing to use that game plan but the fact that they had even *considered* to go above and beyond like that was comforting. It really does demonstrate how much Sarah and Meg really care about their clients and their wedding days running smoothly! My husband and I received our wedding photos about a month after our wedding. We were blown away by the work of Sarah and Meg. All these beautiful little and big moments of our day were captured and we could not begin to say enough how much we loved them! Hire Sarah Crost Photography! You will NOT regret it! PS. Sarah, thank you SO much for all you have done for us the last year and a half for photos. It has been amazing working with you and I am proud to now call you a friend (and no longer just an acquaintance!). Don’t think working with us is over though. Sarah photographed my older sister's engagement and wedding, and I absolutely loved the gorgeous pictures she captured, as well as her fantastic and bubbly personality. When it came time to choose a photographer for my wedding, I did a little research, but I pretty much knew that I wanted her to be our photographer! We are about a year from being married, but we recently had our engagement pictures done. The session was fantastic. My fiance and I don't typically like taking photos because we feel awkward, but she helped us let loose and have a blast during the session! Both came away saying "wow, we actually had a fantastic time." She is a joy to work with!! I am a student in law school at the moment - and just as an example of how above and beyond Sarah goes, she texted me and asked if I had any papers or tests the next day. After I said I had a small assignment and asked why, she told me the pictures were ready and asked if I wanted to wait to have them till the following day so I wouldn't get distracted from my school work! I laughed so hard, and said yes we should probably wait:) That just shows how she truly cares about us as people, and is so encouraging and wonderful! I got my assignment done, and we now have the photos ;) They are absolutely STUNNING. My fiance and I did not have many great pictures together (mostly selfies), but now we have SO MANY amazing ones! I have been obsessing over the photos for basically 10 hours now and I still can't get over them. I can't wait for the wedding and to work with Sarah again! Book her, you will be so glad you did!

We are BEYOND happy that we hired Sarah to photograph our wedding. She is not only an incredibly talented photographer, but she is an amazing person. Sarah was somehow able to bring up the positive energy in the room while simultaneously providing a calming factor, lessening the stress of the day. She helped get our rowdy bridal party organized for photos, got a few smiles out of our toddler flower girls and ring bearer, and even came to the rescue when my mom and sister could not figure out how to bustle my dress! Sarah was attentive and helpful in the planning process before the wedding. She was super responsive when I had questions, and was always willing to talk things through with me. She also chose the perfect second photographer to help her. We specifically talked about wanting more candid shots than posed photos, and she brought Sam- who was ALL about the candids, and had amazing ideas. Our pictures turned out incredible… we cannot stop looking through them! She even got them to us sooner than anticipated! Sarah was really able to capture our personalities and our love for each other… as cheesy as that sounds. We are so thankful for Sarah’s expertise in photographing our wedding day, and would recommend her to anyone and everyone!!

Sarah is the kindest, sweetest, most personable wedding photographer you could ever hire. She was referred to us by a friend and after meeting her for the first time, we knew that she was perfect for us. Her skills as a photographer are clearly and obviously evident but what makes her stand out from her peers is her friendly and genuine disposition as well as an unflappable demeanor. Sarah is the type of photographer that after your wedding you will miss because being around her is such a blessing and you plot with your husband how you can become best friends with her in real life. 5 stars do not do her justice.

Sarah blessed my boyfriend and I with the MOST meaningful photos we have to date! We were vacationing to Maui and looking for someone to do a mini session of us on the beach. Originally from Chicago, we didn't know where to start. We came across Sarah's Instagram profile (Chicago Suburbs) and while creeping, read that she was also taking a trip to Maui. We inquired and the rest is history! Planning with her was super easy and laid back. We weren't sure where we wanted to do our session yet and told her we would let her know once we explored the island a bit more. She was very patient. When the day came to shoot, we rolled around in the sand, laid in the waves, and even saw a sea turtle! Sarah was right there and ready to go with it all! She was constantly throwing out positive affirmations and hype girl phrases all throughout the shoot. Our personal favorite is “Yeeeeeessssss!” Her bouncy energy and love for life are what definitely got us to loosen up and relax in front of the camera which is not easy, but after about 2 minutes with Sarah, it was! Sarah will be your biggest fan before, during and after your shoot. You can just tell that she whole-heartedly loves love! She goes the extra mile (more like 10) to capture the unique beauty in your relationship and through her photos; it is easy to see that my boyfriend and I had not only fallen in love with the island but more in love with each other. The thing that stood out to us the most about Sarah is how selfless she is. At the time of our session, she was visiting Maui for her own wedding celebration and took the time out from HER wedding week to take our photos. It doesn’t get more selfless than that! Her willingness and excitement for our session was what told us that she doesn’t just love her job, she lives for it! If you are continuing to look for a photographer, Stop! Sarah is your girl! If you want constant laughs, an overall “good feels” environment, a new best friend, and timeless, not to mention drop dead stunning photographs, then she is the one!

Look no further for your wedding photographer; Sarah is incomparable. Not only is she an incredibly skilled photographer but she is SO MUCH FUN! She puts you at ease and makes everything very relaxed and enjoyable. At the same time she has seemingly endless amounts of energy which is great for herding extended family members and also making your wedding party laugh while they're getting eaten by mosquitoes or baking in the sun :D Our dinner ran late and I was so worried Sarah would have to leave before we were able to do first dances/hava nageela but she assured me she would stay until these events were completed. She is one of the most positive people I've had the pleasure to meet and will forever be my first choice for photography needs.

Sarah has been with us since I first said "yes" to my then fiancé to saying "I do" to my now husband, and we are just so dang lucky! She was the secret photographer for our proposal, and we instantly fell in love with her quirky, fun, sweet personality. While I ADORED Sarah, at the time I was a little nervous to book her for our wedding because she was just starting her photography business. But I am here to tell you, Sarah was the BEST chance I ever took! She met with me multiple times, was responsive, professional, organized, and went above and beyond making my vision come to life. The day of the wedding, she was such a calming (and fun!) force during the day- I can’t tell you how many of my friends talk about how their “wedding was a blur” and “everything went by so fast” but largely thanks to Sarah, I was COMPLETELY present during my wedding day!! I was never stressed as she took the reins for all the pictures — which is no small task as we had a wedding party of 16, and they were pretty rowdy 😬. AND THE PICTURES! Oh, the pictures. They are beautiful. I've seen a sneak peak and I just cannot wait to see the rest and relieve each moment she captured so well. I knew my wedding would be fun, but I never expected it to feel so perfect and magical. Huge thank you to Sarah for giving us the gift of capturing the most precious memories and making our wedding in Chicago the best night of our lives!

When we met Sarah we knew she'd be a great match for our wedding. Her down to earth, sweet and bubbly personality is really what sold us - along with her amazing photography skills. Sarah went out of her way to meet us at our wedding venue to pick out photo spots since we were worried about the venue size and time (we got married at the Morton Arboretum) a few weeks before the big day. She was a calming presence during the day of and kept our large group on time/organized and captured our day beautifully. Several members of our bridal party even complimented us on how nice and great she was with directing everyone (not to mention her jokes to keep everyone laughing during group shots). We couldn't have been more pleased with our wedding photos and highly recommend Sarah for any wedding and plan to use her again in the future!

I cannot speak highly enough about her. She made two camera shy people feel completely comfortable and the pictures are BEAUTIFUL! She captured moments of our love that I will cherish forever. Seriously it is so hard to find a photographer who does a great job and makes you feel so comfortable! If I could give her more than five stars I would!

Sarah is the best! She is completely genuine to herself and does not try to act like any other photographer in the business to fit in. More importantly, she's not just taking photos to make her Instagram feed look good, but because the special and unique moments are what matter most.

As we searched for a photographer and going through all the consultations and meetings, we felt the MOST comfortable with Sarah. Her talent and unique style caught our attention with all her breathtaking work samples!!! She made us feel comfortable and excited for our engagement photos. She was very flexible and up for anything. (She even gave us tips on coordinating outfits and looking the most refreshed for our photos) Her personality and love for photographer showed throughout our ENTIRE session, yes THREE hours!!! She captured each photo above our expectations, making us laugh and have a great time. She even printed off all my "bridezilla photo requests." Her energy was high throughout the entire session, and I actually didn't want it to end because it was so much fun! Let me tell you, my fiancé and me don't take the most "romantic/ candid photos" but she somehow made them PERFECT! If you need someone who is reliable AND communicates well, Sarah is the one! She had our photos in a short 2 weeks, and let me tell you, THEY WERE AMAZING !!! I screamed and almost cried with such joy and happiness. My family LOVED her photos and couldn't believe how beautiful they turned out. They were such high quality, you could tell she worked at each photo to make each absolutely PERFECT. I cant help by look at them everyday! If you want a photographer who is genuinely in it to make beautiful, breathtaking photos pick Sarah Crost. You will NOTregret it!!! We even booked her for our wedding photographer!!! Sarah, Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your hard work. I am in LOVE with all the photos. (: !!!!!!
