As soon as we saw Sarah's colorful, joyful photography, we knew we had to hire her to photograph our wedding. We are so glad we did!!! Our wedding photos are absolutely perfect, everything from the detail shots, to candid family photos, to our couple portraits are amazing. There's so much love and color and joy radiating from our wedding photos, which is exactly what we wanted.
During the wedding, Sarah did a great job directing family for group shots as well as capturing photos of our friends, and many friends and family commented that they loved our photographer. She also got through our entire (long and very specific) shot list.
Sarah's digital communication was excellent before and after the wedding, she always let us know where we were in the process and was very responsive to email. She delivered our photos ahead of schedule, and even sent us some previews to tide us over until our full gallery was done.
All in all, I highly highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for their wedding photographer! Thank you Sarah for your amazing work.
We couldn’t have been happier working with Sarah for our wedding. We initially fell in love with her bright and colorful style but were even happier getting to know and work with her for our wedding events. Leading up to each event, Sarah did a great job sending us updates and tips on what to prepare. She kept our photo shoots light and fun, bringing out the joy between my spouse and I even though we would consider ourselves extremely awkward in front of a camera. It’s readily apparent how much Sarah cares about and enjoys capturing these moments in couples’ lives. So many of our family and friends and other vendors noted how talented and friendly Sarah was. We smile every time we look at our photos and we’ll cherish them forever.
Sarah was nothing short of amazing! With less than a month to our elopement, much to my surprise she was available to photograph our wedding. I knew from the moment I saw her webpage with the vibrant color in her photographs, and the fact that she we shared a profession as RN’s and that she loved OAR she was the one for us. The day of she kept my husband and me smiling and laughing all day. She went above and beyond for us. I can not recommend Sarah enough! My husband and I felt like we left with a new friend.
Sarah is amazing, and anyone that hires her is super lucky! She is so easy to work with and is very organized, in addition to being super enthusiastic and fun. The photos are amazing! Throughout the process, she was so accommodating, with us having to change our engagement shoot date only a few days prior to the planned session, to incorporating an additional location for couple portraits! She also location-scouts, builds the perfect timeline, and delivers so many amazing photos. Highly recommend Sarah for capturing all the wedding memories :)
Sarah is a dream to work with! She photographed our wedding ceremony - and we could not have asked for a better experience from pre-wedding to post-wedding. As naturally camera shy people, my husband and I were super appreciative that she made us so comfortable throughout the day. Our initial anxieties around being photographed went away once we got started.
Sarah also provided really great ideas for photo locations - hidden gems that we wouldn't have found otherwise. We are so happy with how our photos turned out, and can't wait to share with our friends and family.
You have to work with Sarah!
I've had the pleasure of partnering with Sarah multiple times on wedding and editorial photography as a fellow wedding professional.
As a person, Sarah is truly a gem and such a joy to work with. She radiates positive energy, genuinely cares, and makes the entire process of working together feel so easy.
As a photographer, her work constantly blows me away. Every project we've done together has exceeded all expectations I had. As a floral designer, photographers who understand how to showcase my work is critical for business.
I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again and again, and recommend her to anyone.
Loved working with Sarah. She spent the time to meet with us and scout out locations with good light, strategize the best timing for the pictures, and more. She's delightful to work with, patient, super personable, and makes you feel super comfortable and at ease. Our pictures turned out wonderful and she overdelivered on the quality, speed, and quantity. They captured the magic of the moment and our joy so well. My husband and I truly felt lucky having her as our photographer and would happily recommend her to anyone.
Sarah from the Groom’s POV. This is honestly the only review you will have to read. I will share our experience which will be interweaved with topics such as; professionalism, quality of work, finances, and her personality. You will quickly get the sense that our experience with her was a great one.
Quick note: The first step for a success relationship with your photographer falls on YOU, the consumer. MAKE SURE YOU HIRE SOMEONE WITH THE PHOTO STYLE (filters, angles, expression, etc.) YOU WANT. Sarah’s style was exactly what my wife and I were looking for. That said…
Our experience: Amidst one of those stressful wedding research nights my wife stumbled across Sarah’s work when she was scrolling through -------. She was a part of a list of 3 photographers whose style we liked. As we got in contact with them, Sarah was the most respectful, diligent, and honest of the bunch. It began with an initial phone interview (we were going to school out of state at the time) to get an understanding of all of our needs, wishes, and personalities. Upon knowing that she was capable of meeting our needs, willing to achieve our wishes, and that our personalities mixed she offered to provide her services at her rate and we gladly agreed.
Our first personal encounter was for our engagement shoot. Before we saw her we told her “we want some of those cool, bad@ss, sexy, I am better than you but still humble pictures” and I special requested for her to take a creative leap she has been wanting to take but never had the opportunity. Without hesitation she was on board and ready with several ideas and guidance (the tangible kind, not the wimpy suggestion ones). At the shoot, my wife and I were a little nervous and camera shy in the beginning, not to mention facing some weather adversity, but Sarah made us feel comfortable, not only with her, the camera, and the weather but even more as a couple in the spotlight.
Wedding day: (Pre-ceremony) She arrived early to the hotel we were staying at in the middle of SF and made her way to our separate locations to say hello and introduce her assistant. Appreciated. Both ladies worked seamlessly and were able to mix in well with our guests, keeping everyone excited, feeling comfortable, and even provided some attention to detail with my groomsmen. (Ceremony) As if they were not even there. Respectful to the location we were in, quite for the ceremony, and very attentive with the desired angles. (Post-ceremony) Coordinated very professionally with our videographers to keep up the excitement, genuine moments, and flowing creativity. And when needed, she became our advocate to help us stay grounded amidst all that was happening. (Reception) It is what it is, those billion family pictures had to be taken and she helped us execute that mission. Helped us move away from the talkative ones and let us spend more time with the treasured ones. Once all of the formalities were done and all of our needs and wishes were met, she very respectfully let us know it was her time to go.
The final products: In about a week she sent us an email with a magical link to some of our photos from throughout the day to start sharing and later provided the entire package. Her delivery method is very professional, organized, and has an easy to use interface. She then surprised us with one final gift at the very end that made everything really sink in and feel very personal. I hope if you read this you will get to experience that.
