Hiring Sarah’s team for month- and day-of coordination for our wedding was definitely one of the best investments we made! Sarah was organized and so lovely to chat with that we immediately felt at ease having her help coordinate our wedding. We worked with Lalita from her team, and she was the absolute best! She took over as liaison for all our vendors a month out, which eased a lot of stress leading up to the wedding. By the time the day arrived, we knew everything was under control, and we were able to have the most beautiful, stress-free day! Lalita handled everything to do with vendors, timeline, and family-wrangling so we didn’t have to lift a finger. Highly recommend Sarah’s team and Lalita specifically to give you the best wedding day experience!
We hired Sarah Elizabeth Events for our month-of wedding coordination, and it was the best decision we made! After my first call with Sarah, I could tell she was knowledgeable and her very calm yet enthusiastic personality would be a perfect match for our needs.
Stacey ended up being our assigned coordinator, and when we started chatting a month before the wedding date, she had the same energy as Sarah and jumped right into work! Her communication was top-notch and even when things got extra stressful the week leading up to the big day, Stacey remained so cool. The rain forecast was not looking great, but she continued to advocate for me with our venue to stick to our plan of an outdoor ceremony. Even in all the rain and last minute decision making, Stacey never showed an ounce of worry. On top of all of this going on, she also set up our decor and helped tear it all down, which is definitely not a one-person job. Everything was so beautiful and went as smooth as possible. We could not have done any of it without Stacey.

Sarah truly is absolutely amazing. Our day went by incredibly smooth and effortless. Sarah and her team did everything to make sure my husband and I were taken care of during our special day. She is so easy to get in touch with and responds so quickly. Sarah also went and toured our venue before hand to get the layout. If you need a wedding planner, I highly recommend you choose Sarah. We hired Sarah’s team for a day of coordination for our wedding and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. Our coordinator, Lalita, was gracious, understanding and proactive. Everything was flawless and we had no worries going into the event. She handled everything with care and we had a great time getting to know one another. We’d recommend this team to anyone from full planning to day-of coordination. Thanks again for all your help and hard work!
Sarah was so amazing to work with for our wedding! We literally couldn’t have done it without her. She was very kind, professional, and helped us with everything! We did the partial package and she attended appointments and meetings with us, created a timeline for us, and helped with every step of the way! It made everytbing so much easier having her there to help. Definitely would recommend her!!!
Sarah is the best! We were looking for a day of coordinator for our wedding at Roaring Camp, but we ended up hiring Sarah for more than just day of coordinating! She took two very overwhelmed lovebirds and really helped us through the planning process. She is very knowledgeable, encouraging and positive. On the day of the wedding, she was amazing! We didn't feel one ounce of stress because we knew Sarah had everything under control! We couldn't have asked for a better wedding coordinator!
I honestly do not know where to begin. From our first call, I felt safe and excited to work with Sarah—she even asked if I was a wedding planner because we were so in sync and ready to go! I booked Sarah right away as a day of/month of wedding coordinator and my experience was wonderful. She even checked in occasionally and offered some vendor recommendations prior to her official start time with me. The first time I met her at the venue to do our initial walkthrough, she was so effortlessly detailed with what was needed to be done, asked all the right questions (many of which I had no idea I needed to answer lol), and my favorite part of all was her, “it’s your day, you do whatever the heck you want” attitude. She made sure the month leading up to the wedding that everything was set and ready to go, so that I didn’t have to worry about the extra stuff.
Now for the day of the wedding. My absolute favorite moment was when Sarah approached me and said, “I don’t see the amber cups, did you still want them?”….I looked her dead in the eye and said, “I need them”… she looked me in the eye and said, “don’t worry, I’ll make it happen.” And do you think she made it happen? Hell yes she did! Our photo booth people even got lost that day and ended up at another location and Sarah in the most calming manner, let me know about the situation and handled it right away— even making sure we were reimbursed for the time lost. To be honest, her professionalism, empathy, and support helped me feel and stay calm during the entire process. I could not have made a better choice with having Sarah to make sure my wedding went as smooth as it did. She knows what she’s doing and she is the biggest sweetheart.

Sarah helped us from beginning to end and I honestly do not know what I would have done without her! She helped us source vendors, talk to the venue coordinator, coordinate the timeline, do the rehearsal, set up everything day of, and made sure EVERYTHING went off without a hitch!! Honestly & truly - the best money I spent and she was so friendly and helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for some help planning their wedding!!

I first reached out to Sarah after she came highly recommended by our wedding venue and I'm beyond grateful I did. When we reached out to her, we had most of the bigger vendors booked including venue, photographer, videographer, so we went with the partial planning package and from the very first call, Sarah was able to put all my wedding planning anxieties at ease. She constantly made us feel taken care of and supported throughout the process and was incredibly gracious about my A-type personality spilling out from time to time. I always walked away from every phone call with Sarah feeling not only calmer about the process and the to-do list but excited about planning the wedding again even when I lost sight of that amidst the stress. She is incredibly organized, punctual to every meeting we had with her, and created a timeline with us and our vendors that allowed the wedding day to run SO smoothly! Our wedding day was everything we could have asked for and more because of Sarah's help. It says so much about Sarah when my husband and I are still getting feedback about how awesome she is from our other vendors to our guests. If you're looking for an amazing wedding planner that makes you feel heard, is flexible to your wants and needs, and makes a stressful wedding process not only easy but fun too, we could not recommend Sarah enough!

Working with Sarah was a dream! She was such a calming presence every step of the way and knew how to strike the right balance of sharing her expertise while also letting us have a lot of say. I highly recommend Sarah for anyone planning a wedding or large event, but I especially suggest her if you want an in-between package. Sarah worked with us to build an arrangement that fit our budget and our needs. The whole wedding weekend was so much more enjoyable because I knew Sarah was covering all the details, and I truly had the freedom to just soak up the experience with friends and family.
Sarah is amazing! She's so resourceful and definitely knows what she's doing. As a planner myself I knew exactly how I wanted my wedding and she was right there with me! She's very present and great at keeping in touch which I appreciated so much. It was a stress free process all thanks to her and her professionalism. She's the best out there no doubt.
Sarah is an absolute pleasure to work with! We hired her for day-of coordination and she was just what we needed. We frantically contacted her about three months out from our wedding date, as our venue had informed us (after planners quitting and being fired) that they didn't have anybody to help us coordinate on the day of the wedding. After chatting with Sarah over the phone, we could tell we were in good hands. Even though we had hired her for day-of coordination, she asked for us to copy her on emails to keep her in the loop about the details, and this was MONTHS before the wedding. That was awesome; her planning starts well before your wedding day! She was in touch with all of our vendors in the weeks leading up to the wedding regarding arrival/departure times, and also helped iron out the details with the venue as best she could. We had our rehearsal the day before the wedding and Sarah ran the whole thing. And then, there was the day of the wedding. I can't stress enough how invaluable Sarah was for us. She cued the wedding procession, corralled people to the cocktail hour and into the reception, released tables for the dinner buffet, showed us what to do for the awkward cake cutting ceremony, collected our personal items during the reception to place into our hotel room, and checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we had gotten food and were having a good time. She even grabbed us each one of our signature drinks to have with our dinner while we were at the beach taking pictures. The list goes on!
Sarah knows how special and important your wedding day is, and that is evident throughout her whole planning process. Not to mention, she's so sweet! I would highly recommend hiring Sarah to help with your planning process; you won't be disappointed.
My sister-in-law got married one year before we got engaged and the biggest piece of advice she gave me for planning a wedding was “get yourself a good day of coordinator (if you’re not getting a full on wedding planner) and book them right after you book the venue. Ask your venue who they recommend; you want someone local to the area that will know most (if not all) of your vendors.” So, sure enough, immediately after booking our venue (Chaminade in Santa Cruz) we asked them who to work with for planning and they highly recommended Sarah.
We had our consultation call and instantly clicked. I knew in my gut she was the one. She is warm, friendly, outgoing, personable, easy to talk to - pretty much someone you want to be your friend :) She is an excellent listener and takes down copious notes during any/all mtgs you have with her. She is VERY DETAIL-ORIENTED and I had full confidence that she was going to execute our big wedding day flawlessly. And she sure did!! It was the best day of our lives :)
They should really call it “month of coordinator” not day of coordinator because that’s what it is. Sarah met with me just over a month before the big day and got caught up to speed on all the planning, vendors and venue info. From there, she reached out to each vendor on her own to confirm all details and establish herself as the point of contact. Let me tell you, after we had this meeting, I felt a huge relief off my back, knowing that I was passing the baton to her. She was even more clutch during the peak 2021 wedding season since our venue and vendors were all over booked and spread then, she was able to get a hold of them and confirm details and work with them up until the big day.
Lastly, the day of my wedding I got to RELAX and enjoy the ride as she did all the work (as she was the POC) and I barely looked at my phone! She is so so so great. I can’t say enough great things about her! I hope we stay friends as we got real close during the process. She is a wonderful human being and truly loves weddings and being a part of your special day!
My husband and I cannot recommend Sarah strongly enough. From the very first time we spoke on the phone with Sarah, she was so pleasant to chat with, totally committed to making the experience everything we wanted it to be, and respectful of our wants and needs. We wanted to keep things relatively casual, have some DIY projects, and stick to a budget. Unlike other planners we spoke with, she was able to understand exactly the type of wedding we were looking for, and she always worked towards that (rather than a fixed idea of what a wedding should or should not be).
Our wedding ended up being a bit more complicated than most, and Sarah absolutely saved us. We'd postponed our event date due to COVID and moved our venue and all our vendors along with it. Our original wedding planner wasn't able to make our new date, but luckily we found Sarah! Almost as soon as we'd signed her on, she got to work talking with our venue and discovered that they added some new event regulations (e.g. no alcohol, no evening events - these were not related to COVID). These restrictions were a deal breaker for us, and we were only a few short months from our wedding date. If Sarah hadn't pushed hard to get the answers from our venue at that moment, I doubt we would have had time to find another venue and may well have ended up postponing a second time. As it turned out, her efforts gave us just enough time to find a new venue (which we loved) before things started to book up for the summer. Sarah ended up helping us rebook multiple other vendors, and even though we had booked her with a "partial planning package," she never once brought up "upgrading" us to the more expensive, full service package.
Sarah had some great recommendations within her network (like an AMAZING, experienced baker who made the best cake we've ever eaten) but also spearheaded the search for new vendors when needed (like the sweetest-ever hair and makeup ladies). Summer 2021 was BUSY with many vendors already booked or away, but Sarah found the right team to help make our day absolutely unforgettable.
We had a bit of a hectic couple of months before our wedding, and were often slow to respond to emails or to make decisions. Sarah was able to gently nudge us to keep us on pace, and was absolutely brilliant at anticipating which decisions we would want to be closely involved and which she could effectively make for us (always with our approval, of course). When we came to her with questions like, "Do we need to make a Pinterest-worthy seating chart for guests?!" she would give a helpful suggestion to simplify the process. She was so perceptive about what we needed and how to help us in just the right way.
In the end, she gave us so much confidence and brought together an amazing, perfect day. Knowing that we had her in our corner made the wedding planning process infinitely more relaxing. Most importantly, we absolutely loved our wedding day and would not have changed anything about it. That would not have been the case without Sarah.
