Working with Sarah Gates Photography was the perfect experience on our wedding day. Both Sarah and her colleague Jack Dawson were so easy to work with and we had so much during our...

shoot! Neither my husband or I enjoy taking photos or being the center of attention and it truly was a fantastic experience where we could be ourselves and enjoy the moment.

I can’t emphasize enough how incredibly talented and wonderful to work with Sarah is! Her second photographer, Jack, was beyond fantastic, too. At our wedding, they both put us at ...

ease having our photos taken, despite us typically not being super comfy in front of the camera. Sarah really listened to what we wanted and pivoted on the fly as needed. She shot through terrestrial rain with a smile. She was the super hero of the day because when the weather changed for the worse, she brought 15 clear umbrellas for the bridal party to use. The quality of her pics are outrageous. We didn’t want super formal pictures, and she nailed it- you can feel the love through them, which is all we wanted and more! Her pictures allow me to relive the day and the emotions of it over and over, and she delivered the sneak peaks very quickly! Beyond all this, Sarah is an absolute joy to work with and one of the kindest people. We had a vendor mishap a couple days before the wedding and reached out to her for suggestions late at night, and she immediately responded willing to help, and had a vendor friend of hers on board to help us before I woke up the next morning. She is the kind of person you want on your team for your wedding or any event! We’re looking forward to more photos with her in the future. Thank you so much, Sarah!

e added a unique and beautiful touch to every moment, and she helped everyone feel at ease throughout the day. She made coaching us through the posed photos look effortless. Sarah was amazing and I would highly recommend working with her for any photography needs! We had the pleasure of working with her for our small backyard wedding last October. From...

the planning, to our engagement shoot to the actual wedding day, she was wonderful to work with and made the whole process seamless and above all, fun. Our engagement shoot was the first time my husband and I had been professionally photographed and she helped guide us through different poses and made us feel totally relaxed. It felt as if it were one of our friends photographing us. One moment I won’t forget is when Sarah saved the day by bustling my wedding dress (in less than 5 minutes) when my mom and sister were struggling, but not before handing me my signature cocktail to sip on while she went to work. The photos themselves came out beautifully and really told the story of our magical day. Honestly I couldn’t have asked for a more genuine, professional, laid back and all around fun person to capture all of the special moments of our day. We would love to work with her again one day!

Sarah was such a great photographer for our NYC engagement shoot and wedding photos in Vermont, and we feel incredibly lucky to have found her. She is a great communicator, helping...

us plan leading up to both photoshoots and put us at ease knowing we had someone so capable in charge of photography. We wanted the true Vermont foliage to be the main focus of our wedding and she nailed it! Amanda was a second shooter at our wedding, she was incredible being a support to Sarah and also capturing important shots and helping with props like using our biodegradable confetti for one of our favorite shots! We’re so grateful for the creativity and the amount of work both did for us and will cherish the memories for the rest of our lives.
