l aesthetic of our wedding day beyond what we could have expected. A few of my friends thought my photos looked straight out of Vogue. Sarah goes above and beyond to ensure your wedding day is seamless. She will talk through the timeline and truly get to know each couple and their style. Sarah truly felt like another friend by my side on my wedding day -- she helped steam my dress, carried my accessories, and even bustled my dress like a pro! She was incredibly efficient during the wedding party and family photos which made it possible to enjoy more of the reception and cocktail hour. She even had a few sneak peaks of photos ready for us at the reception. I don’t know how she does it. If you are thinking about hiring Sarah, DO IT! You will not regret it.

our venue. Sarah was such a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. She builds great relationships with her clients, makes them feel comfortable in front of the camera during the engagement shoot and gets to know the client’s vision for their big day. She’s very talented, organized, passionate and full of energy (which I didn’t think I needed during our wedding day). She kept everyone on schedule and felt like we got a photographer and a wedding planner in one! As a bride, you experience so many emotions during the day but Sarah made me feel excited and relaxed. I mostly appreciate Sarah listening and accommodating all of our detailed wedding shot requests on a tight timeline (without doing a first look) but she still made a way for us to enjoy cocktail hour with our guests. On top of her curating and capturing the most perfect wedding photos, we (my husband and I along with our guests) are all impressed with Sarah’s quick turn around with both sneak peeks AND full wedding gallery. At this day and age, everyone loves to see quick results and Sarah truly does not disappoint. If you are reading this and still looking to book a photographer, please do yourself a favor and book Sarah and I hope and pray she’s still available for your date!!

we knew we'd have to reschedule our big wedding again, we hired Sarah to photograph our mini ceremony with just our families as well. She curated such a beautiful gallery that captured the intimate nature of the ceremony and we treasure those photos so much! Finally, earlier this month we were able to have the wedding we planned and Sarah and her husband were such a great team, they kept everyone laughing and captured our favorite moments! arah fit right in and was one of the girls, has a way of keeping the men in line (and you know they need this!!), and has an amazing personality that you want to be around. t. My husband is NOT into taking photos (closed eyes, funny faces, you name it, he’ll do it to ruin a picture). I was familiar with Sarah’s work, and when I looked further into her portfolio, was blown away by the beauty she creates. From engagement shoot to wedding day, Sarah doesn’t miss a beat. She was generous with recommendations, available any time I had a question or concern - even months out from the wedding she made herself available. When it comes to take photos, if it’s cold and windy - she’s got you covered. Sun in your eyes - she has a solution for that too. Awkward about taking photos - don’t worry, she’ll have you laughing in no time and you’ll forget there’s a photographer there! She rolls with the punches (and put up with a lot of crazy jokes and comments from my husband.) After the wedding, my husband said “wow, she really is great at making you feel natural”. Sarah reminds you of the love between you, and captures the sweet, intimate moments in every shot. Because of her photos, we’ll be able to re-live our wedding day over and over! If I could say one thing about Sarah: she’s more than a “photographer”, but a true gem of a human. She goes out of her way to make your wedding day, or any life event, that much more special. Not having a bridal party, Sarah acted as my bridesmaid, friend, and photographer. She helped with my dress, my shoes, calming my nerves, and knew how to keep my emotions in check. I truly cannot imagine my wedding day without Sarah.

nd 100% genuine. We have loved all of our photos! On wedding day, Sarah and her second shooter went above and beyond being just photographers. We had a torrential downpour right before the ceremony, in addition to one of my bridesmaids getting sick with a fever. They had all the things ready (umbrellas, medicine, in addition to all their photography rain gear), kept me calm, checked on my sick bridesmaid, all while taking gorgeous photos. They did everything they could to help make our day perfect and because of them, it was! Sarah is so sweet, personable, and extremely professional. Not only did we love her, but the entire bridal party and both sets of parents loved her personality. She was efficient and thorough in getting family and bridal party portraits done, which was especially important since we didn’t have time to take bridal party photos before the ceremony as planned due to the rain. We got ALL our photos back in a matter of days and our family and friends have been commenting on how beautiful they all look. We love looking back at our photos to re-live our wedding day over and over. We can’t say enough good things about Sarah!

Both were friendly, fun, and lovely to work with, putting everyone at ease during photos. They captured a good mix of candid shots and posed photos throughout the day/night. She turned around the album SO quickly and even posted a sneak peek of wedding photos the next day. We are incredibly happy with how the photos came out, they are truly stunning!

so comfortable and really knows how to get some pictures that truly show emotions. She posts sneak peeks THE NIGHT OF the wedding (!) and delivers galleries insanely quick. Like 2 days after our wedding quick! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a genuine, talented, and all around amazing human of a photographer!

ble to get all the photos we wanted. My one suggestion is to ensure you make a shot list, which i did not, since some items were missed that Sarah wouldn't have known to get. She is super speedy in getting you pictures the night of your wedding and we got our whole album within 2 weeks. The photos are of amazing quality and look so great printed out in a frame and also on canvas! I cannot wait for her to take our anniversary shots since i know they will be perfect! If you are looking for an amazing photographer, choose Sarah!

Sarah as friends is forever. Sarah even drove to Alexandria, VA over the holiday season last year to do our engagement photos. She goes above and beyond to make a connection with her couples and it shows in her photos. We loved working with her and recommend her to everyone in the Central VA area.

cess. My husband taught himself photography on film and does it as a hobby, so he has a great eye for photography and we can both be very picky when it comes to photography styles. Choosing someone to trust with capturing our wedding photos seemed almost impossible, especially if we didn't want to spend a third of our wedding budget on the photographer alone! Eventually, after hours of searching online, I ran across Sarah. A few emails and a phone call later we decided to book her. After our engagement shoot, which was the first time we had worked with a photographer that wasn't a friend, we knew we had made the right decision! She was so easy to work with and really made it comfortable, effortless and fun! The photos were beautiful, we got so many compliments! A month before the wedding I had an alterations disaster and had to find a new dress, along with shoes and accessories, since nothing I had seemed to go with any dress options I could find on such short notice. I messaged Sarah to ask her advice on a couple things and she got back to me right away and was SO helpful! It was a very stressful situation for me and she acted as more of a friend than a photographer. She even offered to let me borrow a dress she owned if it came down to it! On my wedding day she really was my best friend and personal assistant for the day. Her main concern was that my day was fantastic and stress free, and that she captured all of the photos that we hoped for. She ran from the venue to the house to grab things that were left in the bridal suite, helped me get a stain out of my dress, made sure the timeline was moving along as planned, none of which she had to do, but did, and it was AMAZING and so helpful! You can tell that she has a lot of experience and really knows what she is doing, and most importantly, she truly cares about her brides!! Sarah is also very quick with getting photos back to you. She posted sneak peaks by the time I woke up the next morning, and they were all gorgeous!! We received our full album from her while we were on our honeymoon, which we left for a couple days after the wedding. It was so nice and unexpected to get the photos so quickly, and even though she turned around the album fast, its obvious she took her time on selecting and editing all of the photos, everyone that we have shared the album with absolutely loves them!! I really can't say enough good things about our experience with Sarah, book her if you can, I promise that you will not be disappointed. She is wonderful!!!

g our first session with Sarah (our engagement shoot) and she immediately put us both at ease and had us laughing the whole time! She was by my side on our big day keeping me calm cool and collected (as cool as one can be outside in July!) and keeping myself and my bridal party laughing. It goes without saying that her brides become her friends- and she’s the kind of friend every bride needs! So many guests came to me complementing her kindness and helpfulness to everyone who approached her, she posted sneak peaks that night (before we both headed out of state for a Disney vacation!) and I lost count of the texts I received asking for my info about her because just the sneak peaks alone were incredible! Looking at our wedding photos on the wall in front of me, I cannot imagine not having Sarah be the one to capture our day. She absolutely captured the moments I might’ve otherwise missed or forgotten with time and I am so beyond grateful. I know weddings are expensive- and it’s easy to fall into the ‘we’ll find someone cheaper’ or ‘I have a friend with a great camera’ ideals- but please, please if you splurge on nothing else- your photos are what you’ll have 50,60,70 years from now- make sure they capture the moment, and reach out to Sarah- you will not regret it!
