Sarah was very clear about the billing and options available. She also allowed for suggestions/must have shots! She was professional, easy to talk with and produced some amazing qu...
ality photos that really exhibited us and our wedding venue. I will definitely use her for all my professional photography needs. Her prices were competitive and she inspired confidence. We had no doubt we were getting what we wanted.
Working with Sarah Jane was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding in August 2022. My husband and I are not big picture-takers--we never remember to take photos or ask f...
or photos, and we're generally pretty awkward at posing. Sarah made us feel comfortable from the very first phone call, and when we met her for our engagement shoot in Portland, she put us right at ease, made us laugh, and helped us feel as little awkwardness as possible!
On our wedding day, she was somehow everywhere and nowhere all at once - I never heard the click of her camera, but she captured every amazing moment we would have wanted, and she was at the ready anytime a group wanted a photo. We received a ton of compliments on Sarah's fun and friendly demeanor from our wedding guests as well.
We both feel so lucky to have worked with Sarah, and she'll be our first call for any future family photos!!

e getting ready, and then captured the wedding at the venue. She is so calm, professional, friendly, hardworking, and stunningly talented. She captured every detail, made us all look great, and didn't waste a single moment. I have hundreds and hundreds of amazing photos I will cherish forever. If you are lucky enough to book Sarah Jane, you will be thrilled with all your photos.
Sarah was such a pleasure to work with and took great care to photograph our wedding day just as we had hoped. Sarah is personable, organized and informative of what to expect from...
day 1. She was able to capture the tender, artistic, personal (and fun!) moments in a way we can treasure forever. Thanks, Sarah...you are awesome!!
I could not recommend Sarah enough after hiring her for our wedding at the Samoset in July 2021. We had a minor crisis when our original photographer canceled on us 6 weeks before...
our wedding day. We found Sarah and fate was on our side as our wedding was her last summer weekend available. After chatting with her, I felt instantly at ease after my bridal breakdown and couldn’t wait to meet her in person. She was communicative leading up to wedding day and let me know what to expect. Wedding day arrived and Sarah showed up immediately doing her thing, taking candid shots of us getting ready and capturing fun and beautiful images of my bridal party and parents. She brought me down to my first look with my husband and I was able to get to know her a little better. She is sooo sweet, fun, laid back but always on her A game. We trusted her throughout the process of family photos and post ceremony portraits and we ended up with absolutely stunning photos of the entire day. She is insanely talented but more importantly, she has such an incredible manner that relaxed us in order to get some stunning and fun shots. I never thought id be grateful for a pre wedding disaster but it led us to find Sarah and we are so happy! 10/10 recommend!!!
Sarah Jane was our wedding photographer for our wedding in Oxford, Maine in August. She first did an engagement shoot at my family's house a few weeks before the wedding. It was g...
reat to get to meet her and get a bit more comfortable with her (this after we forgot the time and she arrived with us completely unready, which she took in stride even telling my husband what color shirt to wear!).
THEN, the day of our wedding was when the edges of Hurricane Henri were hitting Maine. Sarah Jane put on a raincoat and got pics of us, the venue, our families, everyone dancing and they couldn't bring us more joy. You can't even tell that most of the portraits were taken as it was beginning to pour outside! I keep looking at the images - from both the engagement shoot and the wedding - and being so grateful that everyone was so joyful and that we will forever have those images to remember that.
Sarah has photographed our extended family on our Moody Beach vacation for over a decade. At this point she is like family when we meet up with her to take our portraits each summe...
r. All of her pictures adorn our walls and create beautiful memories. We always receive numerous compliments on her photographs and on the amazing holiday cards she prepares. We simply love her work and stunning photographs.
We used Sarah for our engagement, rehearsal dinner, and wedding photos. We LOVE the finished product of them all, and they are all so different. We started communicating with Sarah...
8-10 months prior to the big day. She's easy to work with, super professional, and the pictures are sent via an easy link to your email to view. She has a great ability to melt into the crowd and capture all of the moments. When something was happening, Sarah was there. She is exactly who you want in a photographer on the big day.
Sarah and her assistant were awesome. Professional and extreamly talented. The pictures could not have come out any better.
Sarah recently photographed my wedding on Peaks Island (7/2018), and from start to finish Sarah was extremely easy to work with and wonderfully communicative. The quality of photos...
she provided us is absolutely amazing. She was able to capture the spirit and energy of the day perfectly and has an incredible eye for catching all of the small moments that make the day so special. Many of our friends commented that they barely noticed her throughout the day because she blended right in and was more of a "fly on the wall" type, which resulted in extremely genuine, sincere, and stunning photos. By our pictures, you would think we had 3 photographers, as she has the magical power to be in three places at once, not missing a single smile, hug, or laugh. We are absolutely in love with our pictures and would hire her ten times over. Can't recommend her enough!!
I truly can't express my gratitude enough for Sarah. Sarah was our photographer for our engagement photos and our wedding 9/9/17. She is so fun, professional, personable, and makes...
you feel so comfortable (this was our first ever experience with a photographer!) She truly helped me problem solve with the logistics of our wedding day, and answered every little question I had. She asked many thorough questions to get to know our families ahead of time, so our wedding day photos were truly a breeze. We added a second shooter in the last month or so of planning, and she effortlessly found someone to work with her to capture our ceremony. She got so many detailed photos of our day that I treasure to look at and reminisce over. Photos were one of the most important aspects of our wedding planning, and I cherish our photos so much. I feel so grateful that we found Sarah and I would recommend her over and over!
